A tech came to our home and said that a small part on our AC unit needed to be replaced. Later, the same day, the owner, Corey, called and stated that we needed a whole new unit. Corey didn't come out that day to even know what was going on. We had our own person come out and he was able to fix the air conditioner for $235. All it needed was to be cleaned and a little Freon. I called the office to speak with Corey regarding this matter and was put on hold. When the office personnel got back on the phone, she said Corey was out of the office and that he would give me a call back, which we never did receive. with numerous attempts to get in touch with him. They were also out on another job with our washer, November 2024, they were not able to fix the washer. Their tech did damage in our home, which Corey did take care of the price that it was going to cost for us to get fixed. Upon speaking with Corey, he asked if the guy seemed like he was on drugs. Corey advised that he thought that this gentleman was on drugs, but could never catch him doing anything because he passed his drug test. So, basically the owner had one of his technicians in our home that he assumed was on drugs. I would never use this place again. I'd also give ZERO stars if that were an option. read more

Very Disappointed With Both Companies Subcooling Services, LLC was the repair company that Select Home Warranty sent to my home to repair my refrigerator. During the service visit, the technician stated that a part was needed and that the repair would have to be approved by Select Home Warranty. After waiting three days, I contacted Select Home Warranty for an update. I was told that they were still waiting for Subcooling Services to submit the diagnostic report. According to Select Home Warranty, they had contacted Subcooling three times requesting the report, but Subcooling still had not submitted it. It has now been two weeks, and my refrigerator still has not been repaired. This experience has been extremely frustrating. I should not have to repeatedly contact the warranty company because the repair company has not provided the documentation needed to move the claim forward. At this point, both companies have left me feeling completely dissatisfied with the way this claim has been handled. If I could give zero stars, I would. I hope this review encourages both companies to take responsibility, communicate with each other, and resolve customers' repair claims in a timely manner. read more

They were subcontracted by American Home Shield to repair my refrigerator. Paid them over $400, they came twice, put in a part. Days later fridge quit cooling again, called on a Friday, they couldn't return until following Friday. They never returned. Have filed suit against them for not finishing their job. read more

This company is ridiculous. I have an AHS Home Warranty, which I've had for over 30 years. I've never once had a problem with my air conditioner. I had annual maintenance to the unit. They turned in a report that it was my fault for neglect. This company cost me $4000. I do not want anyone to have to be at the mercy of this ridiculous company. They are worthless. Don't show up for Appointments. They never answer the phone. Customer service team always has an attitude.

They don't make appoints, so get ready to stay home all day waiting. The tech repaired our oven, but failed to properly reinstall the control panel. There was a lack of instruction on the texts and they cancelled our appointment without notice and after I wasted my entire day off. That's when the problems began. 1 star is doing them a favor. I filed a claim through my warranty company for my downstairs unit. Subcooling came to my home on Aug 21, 2024 about repairing my downstairs AC unit. At such time the technician also looked at my upstairs AC unit. He then dismantled both units and said parts had to be ordered. I then filed a 2nd claim for the upstairs unit that day and the Subcooling tech confirmed it before leaving. They scheduled a follow up appt for Aug 29, 2024. They then moved the appointment to Aug 30, 2024 at the last minute. The technician contacted me on his way here and said that he only had a work order for my upstairs unit. When I asked him about my downstairs unit that they also dismantled, he got curt and hung up on me. I spoke to their office and they are now refused to repair my Air Conditioners. They were arrogant, rude and hung up in my face. The heat indexes were over 100 degrees. I was left stranded by them over Labor Day Weekend without air conditioning. Fortunately, the warranty company found another HVAC company that was awesome and came that afternoon. Not to my surprise, he discovered that Subcooling shorted out the motherboard in my upstairs unit and disconnected my downstairs compressor after he blew out the capacitor. To make matters worse, I filed a complaint with the BBB. Subcooling goes on to lie to BBB in their response stating that I never placed a 2nd claim and they only had a work order for the upstairs unit. Subcooling admitting that the workorder was for the upstairs unit confirms that he had both claims and lied. They also lied and said that I was the one being rude, not them. I also filed a complaint about them with First American Home Warranty and discovered that this is not their first bad incident with Subcooling Services. First American shared that they are no longer using them due to the number of complaints. DO NOT USE SUBCOOLING SERVICES for any HVAC work. They are incompetent, unprofessional and liars. If you don't believe me, do a google search on them and see for yourself before making a big mistake and using them. read more

I was charged over 700 out of pocket fees on warranty job for a new unit for upstairs and you and your guys worked on downstairs unit and replaced a unit that was working. Upstairs NEVER got AC after you changed downstairs unit, repaired downstairs duct work that now has to be fixed due to you and your guys messing it up, replaced a working thermostat and said it was a control panel that wasn't even to the upstairs unit. I would like my money back because now I have to get duct work fixed and the actual upstairs unit repaired that you never fixed. After Corey trying to say it's our fault and me sending before and after me pictures. His final reply: You can call choice home warranty and open another claim. One star is too high for this company. This company was sent out by my insurance company to fix my air conditioning unit. If you see this company in your neighborhood or driveway lock your doors! It's going to cost you dearly!! The employees are rude! Everyone I spoke to was a manager but no one could get anything done! I tried many times to contact the owner left several messages to no avail! Not one callback. The owner is either unaware of the business ethics of his company or does not care at all. This company sent an apprentice out that did not have a clue. He had to call his boss, then diagnose by video. I had to wait two weeks for someone else to come out to diagnose the problem and they still got it wrong. This company did not show for 3 appointments nor did they call to let me know they were not coming. They misdiagnosed the problem. This is a horribly ran business which is owned by someone named Corey Lemons. I wish I would have looked them up on BBB before I agreed to allow the home service company to send them out for my refrigerator repair. Ready for this? A tech from Subcooling Services came out to analyze my non-working ice maker. He said it would take 2 weeks to get the part and that someone would call within the week to schedule a second service call. No one called, so I did. I waited fourteen days from the tech's first visit for him to come back. The tech arrives with someone he identified as his manager (I assume it was Corey Lemons). Now, the tech tells me he left the correct part in his OTHER truck and that we would need to reschedule. He specifically said that he had the part, but because his manager was riding with him this day, he grabbed the wrong part out of his own truck. Fast forward, I see that this was a lie to just buy more time. He said that someone would call me from the office to reschedule, so I waited. Again, no phone call from anyone. I called within the same week and was told (by Lacy) the part was NEVER ordered. (Hunh? Whose on first?) She said she would order it and advised that it would take a few days to get it. Now it's 33 days from the tech's second visit and this time it is a complete no show! I waited from 12-4pm plus another hour before I finally gave up. Lacy from the office calls me at 7pm to say the tech will not be able to make it. Hearing the frustration in my voice, she offered an explanation saying that there was a lot going on behind the scenes. She advised that people were quitting because it was hot and a lot of other things were happening. But my repair is not in the sun. It's just installing an ice maker in a refrigerator which is located inside of a home. She then talks me into rescheduling for the next work day. The next work day comes and I learned they turned it back over to the home warranty company without the courtesy of informing me. After 45 days I have nothing repaired. Wow! Don't believe ANYTHING Subcooling tells you. Check out the Better Business Bureau and see their rating! read more
