Before you read anything else, know this... OUR AC IS FIXED because of Chris and we are so…read morethankful. Chris originally came out to look at our system as part of our Choice warranty, and immediately diagnosed problems that our previous AC person didn't find at all after multiple visits. When Choice didn't cover the claim, he assured that his prices would beat most places like Choate's and we agreed. He was having phone problems, so there were some issues getting things scheduled, with him sometimes coming pretty late in the evening. But when he showed up he went right to it and put us on a course to fixing the problem. Phone issues happen so I'm sure it was more frustrating for him. He found some duct issues and a part that had been installed backwards that was causing our system to not work right. None of this was found during the home inspection when we bought the house six months ago. He also found a mold issue inside our unit and provided options on how to fix that that we'll have him install soon. Here's our rating: Knowledge: 5 stars Scheduling: 3 stars (This is the easiest one to fix, so once the phone issue is resolved, it'll be at 5 stars.) After waiting 3 weeks for a part to arrive, he told us for 2 days he was coming to install the part, after 2 days he did arrive after 7 at night, worked in the dark, fell asleep in the driveway, sent me the bill for installation that was paid that night. 2 weeks later the A/C quit working with an obvious leak. Have called his phone at least 5 times, left numerous text messages, called his wife's phone...who btw, has no Voicemail set up, and sent her text messages as well. So, would I never deal with this company again, I will be reporting him to BBB as well as Choice Home Warranty as well as going after the money he required me to pay for a 1 yr Service agreement he insisted I pay before he would turn any of our claim into Home Warranty because the A/C unit was dirty!! Called Mike with Major League Mechanical, and that night he came and looked at it. You guessed it, it was on the verge of bursting. Within 2 days, we had a new water heater and everything that wasn't up to code, is now. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Mike doesn't like his clients to have jobs half done. And the price was extremely reasonable compared to other companies. You won't be disappointed if you use Major League Mechanical. They scheduled the appointment for Thursday due to the weather. confirmation reminder texts were sent to both my phones. Thursday came...no one showed up. No call no anything. No one has returned my call each day since. Out of desperation, I've had to call another company to come out and I'll be out of pocket with this one for abt $400. This is poor service on a contract YOU sold me and for an appointment that YOU made and for YOU not responding to my messages.

Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The company recently changed the membership pricing structure -- but instead of improving value, they increased the cost to five times higher, now charging per HVAC and water heater unit, per year, not per household. That means I'd now be paying significantly more just for the right to get a "discount," which makes the membership essentially pointless. It feels like I'm paying for the discount itself (maybe more so) and not actually receiving benefits. What makes this worse is that no proactive notice, explanation, or justification was provided to existing customers. I only found out when I looked into scheduling my routine fall HVAC maintenance. A major pricing and policy change like this should be communicated clearly, transparently, and respectfully -- especially to customers who have been loyal and previously trusted the company with their home systems. This comes across as misleading and very poor business practice, and it's an easy way to drive away customers who have been supportive for years. Sadly, this change has made me rethink doing business with them going forward. This is not only misleading but feels like a calculated money-grab disguised as a benefit. It also reflects poor business judgment and questionable customer-focused ethics. Prior members should be aware that the "membership" no longer provides true value and may cost far more than it saves -- proceed with caution.
