Subpar service, did a chimney inspection and tuck pointing in the firebox during home inspection, first rain the chimney leaked and their response was "we couldn't have know because it wasn't raining during the inspection". A year later the tuck pointing is flaking off inside the firebox. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would, why did would I say this is because they could have told me as a customer hey we don't want to do the job. Here's what happened in my horrible customer experience. I waited for an appt. from 11am-3pm by 4:30 I call today 02-9-22 and the owner James calls Jim to ask why I've had no update or follow-up on my appt. they confirmed the previous day. I over heard Jim say very clearly "Kiss my @$$, I don't want that job anyway". I then heard James state watch your mouth the customers on the line. Eye opening experience, I just stated the same thing back I heard you loud and clear and hung up. James calls me back to apologize on my voicemail and say his guy was having a bad day. Yea ok if that's acceptable, I'm Good! I won't be rescheduling the potential appt. for Friday. But Is this how you treat customers? Don't waste their time! Just keep that bad energy no excuses. Professionalism is Priceless please find integrity instead of excuses for customers who just want good work completed! read more

When I first began the process of hiring Chimney Doctors for some repair work last November, it started out great. They came out and gave me the quote the same day. Well, now it's March and they informed me the initial quote was not valid because that employee left. And then yesterday some story about the ex employee, Zach, not entering the information properly into their system. In the meantime, they've come out three times and done nothing. Not a good way to run a business, and dragging this out for four months with nothing to show for it. Shameful. read more
