I scheduled CleanChamps for a carpet cleaning and move-out cleaning at a Memphis rental property on Saturday, June 28th. I flew in from out of state for the weekend specifically to get this work done before we completed repairs, painting, and walkthroughs with new tenants. The day before the appointment, I received a call asking to reschedule due to a personal emergency with the cleaner. I agreed, and they came on Friday instead. While not ideal, I was flexible and appreciated that they could still come. They arrived Friday 15 minutes late. I explained what needed to be cleaned--including the carpets and walls--and assumed that a "move-out cleaning" would include baseboards, windows, doors, walls, cabinets, etc. My partner and I left them to clean while we ran errands. When we returned later that evening, it was clear the job was not done thoroughly. Dirt remained on walls, baseboards and windows were untouched, and cabinets and drawers were still dirty. We ended up having to finish the cleaning ourselves--on top of the repairs and painting we were already doing--adding unnecessary stress and time pressure. I contacted Kevin the very next morning, explaining the issue and asking for a resolution. He offered a re-clean but said refunds were not possible. Unfortunately, a re-clean was not an option--we were leaving Memphis the next day, and the job was time-sensitive. I followed up again after returning home, trying to schedule a partial re-clean for what was missed. I received no response. When I finally spoke with someone by phone, I was told that a re-clean must be scheduled within 72 hours--something that was never communicated via text or during our earlier conversation. When I brought this up, Kevin said he would talk to his manager, then abruptly hung up. At no point before booking was I made aware that they don't offer refunds or that re-cleans must occur within 72 hours. This policy is buried in the Terms of Service at the bottom of their website--not in any booking email, on their homepage, or in any place a reasonable customer would expect to see it. That's not transparency, and it's not good customer service. I booked their service over the phone and was never shown, sent, or asked to acknowledge their Terms of Service. As such, I had no reasonable way to know about the no-refund or 72-hour re-clean policies. Burying those in a website footer does not constitute informed consent or transparent business practice. Ultimately, we paid $640 for incomplete work, had to finish the job ourselves, and were refused a refund or meaningful follow-up. This created significant stress and wasted our time. I don't take writing negative reviews lightly, but I hope this helps other long-distance property owners avoid the same experience.

I felt more at ease the moment I talked to Becky on the phone. I used this company for my move, I used the organizing/cleaning services to get my house in line. From the start it was very nice to have her break everything down for me to see where the costs come from. All I did was send pictures of what I wanted done. When she arrived she went room by room and verified everything I wanted done; and had great recommendations on what to keep or get rid of, and was a nice sounding board for when emotional stuff was found (from my mom's passing away) to be a nice objective point of view. My goal was downsizing and she kept that in mind as I tried to hoard useless crap! Becky was able to separate items into moving to the new place; storage, garage sale, and trash. She's taught me some new skills to not get so overwhelmed with a move in the future, and calmed my nerves when the stress of moving was wearing on me. Months later, I am still happy with the service because I know she put her heart into it and helped me get to where I needed to be. I am free from all the excess and I sold a bunch of stuff, and I wouldn't have had the patience or time to do it myself. She called around for quotes on storage units and did price comparisons on supplies to help me save money. Her cleaning skills are great as well, but she's so much more than that. There aren't many people out there who are do-ers, go-go-go, get it done to completion type people; but she is. It's admirable, I wish I had her persistence! Her experience, kind heart, and organizing skills all were priceless. I would recommend her to all my friends and family, and anytime I move or think her skills will be valuable in any way, I'm calling her!
