I've worked with Jeff's Heating, Cooling, and Maintenance in the past, now Active HVAC & Mechanical, and had another good experience. They were super responsive, came out very quickly, and explained everything clearly without trying to push unnecessary replacements. They cleaned out a heavily clogged and rusted coil area, cleaned the pipe feeding into the pump, replaced the circuit board, and checked the refrigerant and condenser. I live in Atlanta and have a rental property in Memphis, Tn with an elderly(83 years old) tenant that called me and stated that the house was cold because the furnace was not working. She called two heating and air companies to come out and evaluate and both estimates were ridiculously high. I started my search by googling the best heating and air conditioning companies in Memphis, TN. Jeff's heating and air conditioning was in the top ten with excellent reviews. I called Jeff and explained to him the situation and that an estimate was already given by two other companies to replace the furnace which had a crack in the chamber. Based on the information I gave him that was needed to replace the furnace, Jeff gave me an estimate of what he thought was fair based on the information I gave him without even looking at the property. He stated he would go by later that same day and let me know if he saw anything else that would change the quote he gave me. He went by the same day I called and stated that there wouldn't be any additional charges and he can do the job for what he quoted me earlier. Within 24 hours, the house had a new top of the line furnace and and upgraded return line. Our tenant, who happens to be the sweetest 83-year-old you will ever meet, was also very pleased with how professional and courteous Jeff's team was and praised them with two big hugs. It's nice to know that there is at least one company out there that will not take advantage of a situation and genuinely wants to help their customers. After a plumbing issue our AC went out. I found Jeff's on Yelp and thought I would try it. He was super kind on the phone and had someone at my house within 30 minutes of my phone call. He after diagnosis and told me I needed a part and all 3 of my units needed to be cleaned. My stomach dropped instantly holding my breath waiting to hear how much this was going to cost me, I'm thinking $600-$800. He told me the price and I was so surprised at the cost (less than $350) I told him to do it! He had the part on his truck and I was back up and running in no time!
