We tried this ice cream place for the first time on a very hot summer day when it was 109 degrees outside! So it was refreshing to have ice cream. The place inside is nice and clean and they make fresh ice cream in front of you using nitrogen gas. They have many different options to pick from and you can customize everything. We went with small waffle cup with pistachio ice cream, coconut milk as the cream base, and then I added some more nuts like walnuts, pecans, and others into the mix. Now as for the ice cream taste, it does taste a little different than your typical ice cream. It's less creamy in taste and the texture of the ice cream is lighter than your typical ice cream. Personally, I enjoyed it. It doesn't make your feel too full. But if you are looking for a rich creamy taste then you can pick a different cream base and see how that turns out for you. Pics are below!

My party and I had a good time at Sun Zero. This Ice cream shop offers a unique experience that is fun and educational. When you visit SZNIC, you are in for a treat for your eyes and palate. I tried the Strawberry Sigma and it was delicious!

A very, very good ice cream place. I love the process of making the ice cream and I can't even describe the taste of the ice cream. It's that good. If I was able to add two bonus stars I would. Love this place.

This is an amazing experience for kids. You get to pick one of the pre-made "sensation" desserts or you get to make your own. They have tons of flavors and mix-ins. They also have coconut milk for those with a dairy allergy (vegans too!). They do an excellent job with avoiding cross contamination, which I appreciate since my daughter has a mean dairy allergy. Once you choose your flavors, they start mixing and tons of smoke comes out. Quiet the show for the little ones! The ice cream is okay. Sometimes if they put too much nitrogen the ice cream can get way too hard. I personally enjoy coming here to impress my daughter lol , she loves it!

Unappealing, crystallized result--not creamy and very artificial flavor taste. Would not return.

Unique concept but really just an overpriced ice cream shop. 4 small cups cost us over $20. Won't be back.

It starts with liquid nitrogen 321° below zero, then flash freezes it so it becomes so smooth and creamy!

This is hands down my favorite ice cream shop in Florida! I only wish they had a location closer to…read moreour side of the state--it would definitely become a regular stop for us. Their Death by Peanut Butter flavor is my absolute favorite--it's rich, creamy, and downright addictive and that's alot from me given I don't have a sweat tooth. Every time we're in Fort Myers, Royal Scoop is our go-to spot for dessert. I love that it's a family-owned business, and the friendly service always makes the experience even sweeter. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some of the best homemade ice cream you'll ever have. It's a total gem!

Royal Scoop, you have my heart (and probably a few extra calories I'll never burn off). I went with the Cookie Monster flavor because, well, I like cookies, and I like monsters--seemed like a win-win. What I didn't expect was the shocking amount of food coloring, which, let's just say, made for a memorable bathroom experience the next morning. I won't go into details, but I briefly considered calling a doctor before realizing, "Oh, right... the blue ice cream." Let's just say Cookie Monster left his mark in ways I wasn't prepared for. That said, would I come back? In a heartbeat. Would I order the Cookie Monster again? Probably... but with a little less fear.
