Such a cool experience! It's fun watching them create your ice cream sensation using liquid nitrogen. It reminded me of my middle school science days. It's very very good, but you're paying a LOT for it. For reference, this was essentially the same price as uber eating a pint of Halo Top ice cream. Including the service fee, delivery fee, etc. I ordered a basic, no frills mix of Bubblegum and Cotton Candy ice cream flavors, low fat ice cream base, with marshmallow sauce. I did not get mix ins which are a dollar each. For a regular size, it was $9.15, tax included. Was this good ice cream? Yes. It's great. It's also really cool that you can see it made in a cloud of nitrogen gas. It's a premium product, with a lot of customization, and it's very tasty... it's just a real hard sell at basically ten bucks a person. read more

First time there with my husband. The two people serving were rude. Don't listen to customer what we want to order but yet asking us how to do it instead. The you g man got mad when I told him how I wanted mine and I repeated myself three times .... Not sure if they understood what I said. Then he started mixing up the flavors and the container dropped on the ice cream and instead of replacing it to a clean one. He used the same dirty one for the ice cream. Their price is too high. 25 dollars for two things of ice cream ? I don't recommend it read more

I rarely give bad reviews... CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN REALY RUIN A PLACE. Ice creams okay. But... Been here a couple times now and customer service is always horrible. They barely acknowledge you and don't smile at all. They seem like they don't want to be there and don't even try. Like... to the point where it's awkward. I believe the young lady and boy are possibly the children of the owner/manager of this location? Not sure.. but you can tell they're young and have literally no desire to speak ..and don't show emotion. Pretty much every time I ordered , I awkwardly stood at the register waiting to pay.. and nearly finished my ice cream by the time I did. After a while of !!chillin' and occasionally looking at her phone!! the girl said she'd be right with me. I just don't get it.. how can someone (even with zero customer service experience) think it's okay to behave like this in front of customers?????????? Seeing the other bad reviews...it seems we had similar experiences. read more

Sub zero nitrogen icecream serves delicious fresh icecreams. They have wide variety of icecream flavours. My fav one was birthday celebration. It was made fresh with premium ingredients. Every bite of it was sinfully indulgent. It was beautifully presented . I also tried the roohafza flavor which was the first ever kind of icecream I tasted in this flavor. Staff here is friendly and courteous. It was a delight to taste such exotic preparation of icecream, unlike the usual ones which we get. It is certainly a must try place in Atlanta. Good Mawnin Y'all, It's your boy, the groovy movie foodie and today I'm going to give you the scoop dish diddly on the good, the bad, and the expialidocious about Subzero Nitrogen Ice Cream. Supercalifragilistically speaking of course. Let's get it on!!! The Good Good... I wish I could post this video of them actually taking the cream and applying this cloud of super cooled liquid nitrogen to make the cream freeze before rolling it. They smacked it up flipped it and rubbed it down into a bowl of strawberry frozen deliciousness. Then they have these frozen cereal balls for lack of a better description that you chew and then smoke comes out of your mouth. For my dragonball z fans out there, you can easily get your goku on. If you're like me and balling on a budget, you get the full experience here. They give you a presentation of how it's done to impress your friends and influence the people. The Bad... Shut yo mouf. Don't nobody say nothing bad about subzero. You do it and a Mortal Kombat move will come get you:-) ~The Expialidocious~ For the take home foodies, looking for a groovy movie to go with this frozen dining experience, I would pair it with a "eat it now cuz it's ice cream". The presentation is flawless and free and is one of the "coolest" movies out there. read more

Delicious ice cream and very original the way they make it (with liquid nitrogen). I had the (Something) Brûlée and my wife had the Banana (Something) from their Sensations menu; they have special names for each one. They come in a cup with a crunchy waffle cone piece. Come ready to take video of the ice cream making process! It's an experience. While we were eating our ice creams the manager came with liquid nitrogen frozen waffle cone pieces that show cold smoke when you bite them. Nice touch, and according to my wife very instagrammable. Make sure to stop here if you're near Centennial Park. read more

Wanted to try it once just cuz the liquid nitrogen thing. Nice that they have lactose free and vegan options, but my coconut milk choice had a funky aftertaste. Kids loved their fudge and cake batter choices though. Also too pricey in my opinion for what you get (6.49 for a regular size ice cream cup). On a day in the mid-60s the ice cream seemed to melt really quickly and leak through the bottom of the cones, recommend getting a cup and then you can crush the cone into the ice cream to prevent mess and waste. I would have rated a 3 for my coconut milk option, but kids loved the "premium" regular milk option so upped it to 4. Unless there's a deal prob will go somewhere else in the future though due to price and better tasting lactose free options elsewhere read more

Where do I start. Let's just list everything. 1. Nobody had any gloves on. 2. Everyone had long fingernails. 3. We asked for 2/3rds green tea flavor but it was like 9/10ths strawberry flavor. 4. There was one person in front of us but it took 30 minutes to get our order. 5. They kept getting pools of liquid in the bowls while freezing it and had to pour it out. 6. They overfroze everything until it was sad and dry 7. Toppings were a dollar each and we got under a bite of brownie. If we ordered gummy bears I'm sure we would have gotten just one. 8. Paying for our oder with cash took 5 minutes. 9. The flavors are just sugar syrup. The difference between this and snowcones is milk instead of water. 10. Given all of this cheap stuff going into the order, our small was still $9. Did the dollar lose value or did I just get scammed? If I had to do it again I would have not. One star for the color changing spoons, but then I take it away since it's plastic and there's no recycling. read more

Came here after dinner with a few friends and I was very impressed with the service and quality of the ice cream. The price was very reasonable and I was even able to get ice cream that provided me with a lot of nostalgia related to an ice cream shop I used to go to as a kid. During my visit, their credit card processing system was down so we were only able to pay in cash but that wasn't too much of an issue. They do also have bubble tea here and interestingly, they also sell various flavors of CBD honey that my friend was looking into. I will definitely be back to try the bubble tea and other ice cream flavors! read more

Subzero offers many options for those who want to indulge or for those who want a healthy option. I had a small chocolate custard with heath bits mixed in. It was cool to watch them turn the liquid into ice cream. Lots of smoke from the nitrogen. Would I go back? Probably not because it's a bit overpriced because of presentation and show. But I do recommend people trying it out! The staff were super friendly and the store was kept very clean. read more

Despite having mixed reviews (pretty surprised this place only received 3.5 stars?), this place was actually really good! I ticked off one star because it is quite expensive. A regular size is $7.10 with tax. I went with a "choose your own" where you choose a base cream, flavor, and toppings. They have different Creams (lactose free, premium, etc) to choose from and they have some sort of syrup to flavor each base. I think what makes the Nitrogen in the ice cream special is the textures you get in the ice cream. Ice cream is super smooth and melts in your mouth without having to bite into it. I got fresh strawberries and waffle come bits in chocolate ice cream and goodness gracious it was soo good! The strawberries in Nitrogen had like a frozen/freeze dried texture, which made it really enjoyable to eat with the crunchy cone bits. All in all, great ice cream if you're looking for ice cream in Sandy springs! read more

Not impressed at all. I love ice cream, but for $18 dollars for 2, I've had better. .99 for add ins so it's just syrup flavors for free. I've had this type of ice before at another place and all of the toppings were free. It's kind of melt(y) when they give it to you. The waffle bowls are a piece of waffle in a cup. What happened to actual waffle bowls and cones? I guess if you've never had it, it's an experience to see them mix it with the nitrogen. If that's what u want just walk in , watch them make someone's else's and maybe get brusters lol. read more

Friday Urban Picnics is run by the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, and held every last Friday of the month from March to October, 11-2pm. Location is the back of Sweet Auburn Curb Market. At today's picnic, I arrived around 11:45 and lucked out with finding a parking spot. Lines were very short too - but that all changed after 12. Good Food Truck and Yumbii were probably the most popular. Westside Creamery, The Pop Shop (or maybe it was The Pop Stop), and Black Tie BBQ were there, too. I think almost all items were under $10. Today I had Good Food's $5 Poodle which was to die for: French Toast hot dog bun, beef dog, apple maple slaw, ... and then they strongly encourage you to add maple syrup and spicy mustard. Whoa that was really yummy - messy to eat though and I had sticky fingers afterwards from the maple syrup but no complaints from me :) Next time I'm trying one of their savory cones filled w/ all kinds of goodies! The Indian rice crispy treat sounded intriguing, too (curry, coconut, and candied fennel seeds)! For dessert I had a $3 generous scoop of Westside Creamery's bourbon & bacon ice cream. Just a hint of bourbon flavor and surprisingly thick pieces of bacon throughout - honestly I was expecting bacon-infused flavor but my bad for expecting anything else but the real thing!! They had some great flavors to choose but I went with bourbon & bacon since the Westside guy said it was his favorite. I've already marked my calendar to make a field trip to the next several picnics b/c there are too many new things to try! Some tips: Bring cash. If you're lucky enough to find parking in the Sweet Auburn parking lot, it's free w/ validation - look for the table outside that validates tickets. Otherwise make a purchase inside to get parking validation. When I was driving back to work, I also found free parking available under the interstate - free for the first 90 minutes.

The Key Lime Cake is a huge portion. It is 4 layers of goodness. As soon as I opened the container the smell came flowling out. You know it's good if the cake smells good. Oh my!!! I had to tirl it around to get a good look at it. It's a beautiful cake. The topping is a crunchy sugar, butter concoction. Made similar to strawberry crunch cake. The star of this cake is the fact that it's is extremely moist. MOIST!!!!! I tell you there is not I got dry about this cake. This is one of the greatest ice cream places I've ever been too! Almost everything starts from scratch so you're getting a taste and texture you won't find anywhere else. The freshest ingredients are right infront of you, including the milk, the fruits and candy, and the waffle bowls. They have lactose-free milk so even my grandmother can have so it make sure you get the good flavors that go with it just ask which flavors go with the lactose-free milk I love coming here when I have some extra money and I splurge on a large ice cream almost every time almost every sensation is pretty great depending on your taste Highly suggest coming here with your family and getting ice cream that is perfect read more

We visited this place for the second time, hoping our experience would be better, but unfortunately…read moreit wasn't. During our first visit, we ordered the Kulfi Slice Falooda, which is advertised as containing rabdi and costs $8.50. However, what we received was simply sliced kulfi, falooda, and syrup. I specifically asked the server if rabdi had been added because I couldn't taste or see any. He assured me that it was included, but I honestly don't believe it was. I've had rabdi many times and know exactly how it tastes and looks. I was willing to pay the price because I expected the dessert to include all the ingredients listed on the menu. A few weeks later, we decided to give the place another chance and ordered the Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. It consisted of a very small piece of what seemed like a store-bought brownie, a small scoop of ice cream, and a few toppings. At $8.49, it simply wasn't worth the price. What really put us off, though, was a comment made by the server to our six-year-old daughter. She wanted to sample an ice cream flavor before choosing one, which is something most ice cream shops happily allow. The server made a remark implying that she just wanted to taste the ice cream without buying it. We found that comment unnecessary and inappropriate, especially when directed at a child. Overall, the desserts felt overpriced for what was served, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We walked into the shop and smelled a little on the sweet side. It was very noisy, since the two employees scooping ice cream were providing service to about 7 boisterous boys. The boys' interactions with each other and with the employees were very entertaining, in a good way. I liked that one of the employees cut a break for one of the boys when he found out that he didn't quite have enough money to py for his ice cream. I checked out the menu while waiting to place our orders. Good Vibes provides a lot of ice cream choices, and same with the toppings. They also have a nice selection of drinks. I chose two scoops of butter pecan ice cream, which tasted good. There are some old school video games - Space Invaders, Galaga, Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong - and a claw machine for kid, old and young. Unfortunately, during the evening we went, the employees had not taken the time to clean up, so most of the tables were dirty and some parts of the floor were sticky. There are some tables outside, but it was a little too cold for any of us to enjoy sitting out there. Good Vibes had very good lighting.

It appeared to be one of those self-serve places, but I didn't see anybody that worked there. So I stood at the counter and called out for help. A girl came out from the back, holding her cell phone and looking at it while she was walking to me. She didn't ask how she could help us or greet us in any way. I told her I wanted to make sure they were open before I got some yogurt and she just continued to look at me. About half of the yogurt machines didn't have a flavor available. Then there were a few that didn't work. I tasted a couple of them and they all tasted like chemicals to me. The only one I could really tolerate was the tart yogurt so that's what I got. When I went back up to the counter, the girl was in the back again, and I had to call for her to come back out again. Again she walked out holding her phone and looking at it the whole time. She rang us up and then we went to sit down, but the first bench with tables the bench had a big hole in it with stuffing coming out. It looked terrible and disgusting. We sat a little ways down where the bench was intact. I was going to take a picture of it, but some people that came in after we got there actually sat on that bench. Gross! While we were there, several other parties came in and each time the girl was in the back and came out, holding onto her cell phone and looking at it the whole time. I mean come on I get it. We all look at our cell phones, but it was way over the top.
