Did I add I decided to get it cut one day before traveling to attend a wedding. Like Steven Tyler said, I was livin' on the edge!! She started out really slow, which concerned me a little, but now I think she's just really meticulous. She ran her fingers through my hair, asked me what I was looking for, and let me know whether or not the styles I had in mind would work with my hair type. She lead me to do a new search that found a very workable cut for my hair type and she got to work. I cannot even tell you how happy I am with my cut and how easily I (ME!!) can actually style it now!

You may have missed the point that I booked the appointment with you for my daughter, so to say that she is the only person that should be treated as a customer is short sighted, and why would you want to treat me or the parent of your client that way? What a terrible response to the my review. My daughter even said you were rude to me. At least everyone reading this review knows that there is a vow of silence in your space and 1 family member that brought their to child to you for service is not welcome.

I enjoyed the friendly attentive staff and Ashley's professionism and cuts (obviously as I returned several times). Hearing that Ashley had transfered to Bee Cave/Lakeway I went ahead and made an appointment there yesterday (Wednesday April 30 at 10am). I was told Ashley had upped her price by $10 in an advanced email prior to my appointment. The email also stated that any NO SHOW of my appointment would result in a 50% charge on my credit card on file. The total drive from my home to Wild Orchid was over 45 minutes. Upon arriving a few minutes before my appointment time, I was greeted by at least 3 people offering me something to drink, which was greatly appreciated for the customer service. But after waiting for nearly 10 minutes for Ashley to show, I left because Ashley didn't call, text or notify anyone anything about her NO SHOW. And still today, I have yet to hear of any apology or excuse as to why she didn't show or call. Not a word from management either. I should expect a 50% refund from my last appointment. Neither was I offered a included hair wash with any of my previous appointments that I was unaware it came with the cost of the cut. I thought I'd found the one stylist I could depend on to do my hair the way I wanted and was willing to travel over an hour and 15 minutes round trip to get. But I will NOT be going back to Ashley nor Wild Orchid for anything UNLESS they make this right. So far, I've heard nothing.

They all do a fantastic job. I just got my hair done yesterday by Krissy, and the color is so lovely! It was exactly what I wanted, and it looks so rich and shiny. The haircut is seriously perfect too. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my haircuts, (emphasis on extremely) and Krissy always cuts and styles it for me the way I say, but she'll also let you know/recommend the amount that should be cut off due to split-ends and/or damage. However, she won't just start chopping away and make it shorter than what you want, which is something I've had done by other stylists and was not too happy about! Krissy is very thorough in checking all of your hair to make sure everything is even, which is something that not everyone does. I had at least four customers at my work today tell me how beautiful my hair is. I even had someone go on and on about my color being fabulous, and she had me write down the name of the salon (Shear Headcase) and the stylist who did it. (Krissy D.) I apparently need to keep their business cards on me! The salon itself is adorable, and the atmosphere is relaxing. All of the women there are down-to-earth and very nice.
