I highly highly recommend Mary! My whole experience with her was great. She is very COVID safe and…read moreyou just drop off your dog at the front (wearing a mask of course). I called to see if she could fit me in this week and I lucked out with a cancellation. She recommends calling two weeks in advance! She groomed my five month old mini goldendoodle super well. He was not traumatized at all and was even happy after the grooming! I was super concerned because I have been told by vets that he is dramatic but it went well. Mary explained her process super well and she clearly cares about the dogs she grooms. Cash only & price varies!

She assured me my dog didn't need anything to sleep, and by the time I picked my dog up they were so close! This is a review from when we sent her to Mary a few days before St. Patrick's day. I forgot to review her and plan to take my dog back for a trim soon! Our dog had a lot of mats from exploring forests & running away in another state (was in care of relatives & just got back) Mary shaved it all and bathed my baby all under 2.5 hours & gave me a call. The mats turned into a full pelt and I'm so happy that Mary was able to help my poor baby. I picked up a whole different looking dog but she was so happy & Mary even cut up fabric, giving my dog a very cute bandana to wear! I trust Mary & was extremely happy with the end results, she even gave me a small educational lecture (I wasn't offended, I understood & glad she did it shows how much she truly cares) She said my dog is welcome back anytime & she recommends calling a week before I want her in. I definitely recommend and can't wait for the next appointment! Prices vary but are affordable for having to get a haircut every 6-8 weeks My phone reset a few nights ago so I apologize my only photo of the haircut is my dog with a filter

She and her staff were very patient and understanding. She was very gentle with our puppy and she gave us some great advice. I only wish that she was in our hometown so we could go to her for all of our pet needs.

I brought my not-even-two-year-old bearded dragon to Douglas Animal Hospital (DAH), based on a…read morereferral from an Emergency Vet on Monday after he began having volatile seizures the evening before. The initial exam by DAH was typical to my novice experience and a blood draw seemed like the best step forward to determine what was causing the seizures. Only after spending a full week getting the run-around on the blood results, paying for antibiotic and calcium injections that were not needed, and being cancelled on less than 2 hours before an appointment, did I call a different clinic. In hindsight, I should have averted much sooner. At the second clinic, my beardie's blood work was turned around in less than 30 minutes, a proper exam was given, where they checked limbs, stomach, skin, eyes, ears and mouth (Dr. Douglas never even took my Beardie out of his carrier), and Dr. Douglas's initial diagnosis, which we were giving him injections for, were ruled out within the first 15 minutes. I can assure you there are MUCH better places to bring your reptile. I can understand if my Beardie's situation was more advanced than DAH was prepared to handle, but never was I referred to go elsewhere and never was any indication given that they didn't know the answers to my Beardie's serious issue. The bottom line is that DAH did not give any priority to the well-being of my Beardie. He was suffering through multiple seizures a day, while DAH didn't give a second thought to his blood chemistry taking over a week to get back. A week after the initial blood draw, I was cancelled on, and told that the sample didn't take and we would have to start the process over again. Again - no concession by DAH to say that I should take him somewhere that could handle this more urgent matter. They never informed me that other clinics can turn blood chemistry around in less than an hour. They were perfectly content with having him suffer for another week. After seeing the second vet, who actually specializes in exotics (unlike DAH), I received a full diagnosis the same day and my Beardie has gained his wings and is in a better place. I could have stopped his suffering earlier, but unfortunately I trusted DAH. Don't make the same mistake with your reptile.
