She made sure to maintain her collie coat without damaging it. My dog was so enamered with Nanci, she followed her back to her van and wanted to get back inside. My younger dog was more nervous as she always is meeting new people. Nanci was again patient and very gentle. Both dogs have been prancing around all evening showing off their new coats! Nanci is 100% self contained in her van which is sparkling clean. I would highly recommend her grooming services....now I just wish she would do cats

He is normally terribly behaved so I never want to take him to the groomer. As long as I live in Minnesota I won't take him to another groomer. They were awesome. The groomer took his time with my dog and provided a positive environment with treats and going slow with the area he gets scared with. They were amazing and I'm so glad I found them! Also their pricing is right inline with petsmart and petco but miles and miles better service.

I was a bit hesitant to leave my sweet girl, as she can sometimes be reactive with other dogs. From the moment I walked into the salon, I felt reassured. I was greeted by two kind, professional people who took such thoughtful care of her. When they realized she would need to be shaved due to the severity of the sap and matting, they paused and made sure to get my approval before proceeding, which I really appreciated. They took excellent care of her, and I was absolutely thrilled to bring home a clean, beautifully trimmed dog. All of the mats and sap were gone--she looked white, fresh, and so comfortable. Thank you for your hard work and for taking such compassionate care of my sweet girl! I highly recommend 10 stars!

I was able to get an appointment the next week. The ladies did an amazing job ! Amazing ! Grooming a wiggly 6 pound dog is not an easy task !! How they were able to clip her nails is beyond me. Other grooming businesses lightly file my dog's nails (even when I add nail clipping to my dog's grooming service), leaving a task for me to do at home. I was delighted that Uncle Nick's did a complete grooming ! Uncle Nick's is a very clean and safe environment for multiple dogs "in the house". This business deserves far better than 2 stars. I have been a client for 6 years. Maureen does a…read moregreat job with my Bergamasco Ruffo. His is not an easy coat to manage by any stretch of the imagination. Other groomers were intimidated or uninterested in figuring out how to manage his triple coat, but Maureen researched it and learned how to groom him thoughtfully, without leaving him naked and stressed. He always looks fabulously handsome (my bias) when done. Regarding the 7 hours mentioned in a previous review: this is a one woman shop. I can imagine the day getting long if there was another dog (mine?) on the day's schedule needing more time and attention to detail. Maureen does excellent work; perhaps she values that over timing. In any case, she's a careful, knowledgeable, hard working groomer. I hate to see her disparaged as "crazy", though that sort of insult is really only a statement about the person leaving the review. I recommend the Groom Room and Maureen without reservation - it's a 5 star spot for high quality dog grooming!
