I am very, very surprised to read the other review on Zoom Groom. I never take stock in reviewers…read morewith only one review on Yelp anyway, but still. I have been taking my mini-doodle Shelby to Zoom Groom since she was just four months old and we absolutely LOVE Anna and the staff. They offer puppy baths for dogs to get them socialized to the grooming process and it was very helpful for our dog. She has absolutely no issues being groomed, brushed or handled because of the great job Anna did with her as a puppy. Doodles, from what I hear from other doodle moms, can be challenging to groom properly (technique-wise), and I have seen a lot of photos of horribly groomed doodles. Anna knows exactly what she is doing with Shelby, and she always comes out looking like a doodle and not a poodle (other doodle owners will know what I mean!). Shelby loves going to see Anna, is never anxious when we walk in, and is always super happy and smiling (yes, smiling) when I pick her up. I have found them to be very flexible and accommodating as well. Their pricing is extremely fair and competitive, and the quality of the services can't be beat. Anna also goes that extra step and hand-makes little hair bows for the pups after their groom/bath - they are so cute! Seriously, I think the previous review must have been a misunderstanding, a competitor, or a dog that has never been properly socialized to being groomed professionally before. I have recommended ZoomGroom to all of my puppy-mom friends, and our doggie daycare recommends them as well!! If you are looking for a groomer, please ignore the 1 star review (sketchy as it is with no photo, profile or a single other review by the writer) and check out Anna and the great staff at Zoom Groom for yourself. They love what they do and love my pup too!

The experience reminded me of going to a dental hygienist who lectures you on your neglect. They suggested drugging our dog to bring her in next time, but that is the last thing I would do. Oh well, there are worse things to worry about than my dog's hair cut.

Those nerves were driven away quickly as the lovely gentleman, who was their groomer , loved on them from the start. When we picked them up they looked AMAZING! It was more expensive then the groomers we has before but they do not have weekend appointments so we had to find a new place. Dreadlocks for Dingos is more expensive, but they offer complimentary nail clipping in between grooming and are 4 blocks away from our home so it a fair traid. I would recommend this groomer to all of my poodle owner friends. Well done and thank you!

(Yikes)! I followed them from another shop that we used to be clients of. I was in search of another groomer when I found out that they had opened their own shop. I was thrilled. Joe groomed our senior Havanese until she passed. He was so gentle with her. Now he grooms our new wiggle worm puppy. John grooms our male Havanese and has since his first hair cut. He's gone to no other groomer. Our boy Havanese can be problematic and gets a little crabby when he's forced to do things he doesn't want to do (such as take a bath). John has never complained or mentioned his behavior. He just gets the job done. Over the years, with various other dogs, we have gone to four other shops. These three are the best groomers that I've ever encounter and will we stick with them. They are professional, helpful and good with the fur babies. My only complaint is that they can be booked out, but any good groomer normally is.

The hair is still long and thick, completely different from the picture I provided, and the cuts are very uneven and noticeable. To make things worse, they didn't shower or blow-dry my dog after the haircut, leaving loose fur everywhere. My car was covered in hair, and I had to bathe my dog again as soon as I got home. When I called to express my concerns, they simply told me they don't cut dog hair very short and that they only bathe dogs before the haircut. This was never communicated upfront, and the service didn't meet my expectations at all. I wanted a proper haircut to reduce shedding in my home, but instead, I got a messy, unfinished job.

I have two Westies and brought them to this location maybe 2-3 times before making the decision to look elsewhere and change groomers. Finding a groomer was hard as I started looking during the start of the COVID pandemic. When I arrived to pick up my dogs, without notice, they added an extra charge of $30-40/per dog, due to them being "difficult". I asked them what that meant, and asked them if they were biting at them, and they said no. One of the groomers did have some scratches on her arms, but didn't go into details on what happened. This place accepts anywhere from 6-8 dogs at a time, and my only guess was that maybe the combined noises from the blow driers was too much for my two dogs. Their haircuts were fine, but overpriced for the end product. I am completely happy with the current groomer we go to in WSP - Wiggles & Wags. It is a smaller location, and that could have been just what I needed for my two dogs. Leah and Alex clearly have had a lot of experience. I was concerned dropping them off after the experience at Haute Dog, but when I picked them up, they told me that "they were great - no problems". I couldn't believe my ears. I shared my experience at Haute Dog, and they said that is not the experience they had. My concern for Haute Dog is the well-being of dogs that may have special needs. My suggestion is that they get some employees who can think on the spot and find new ways to make dogs feel safe as every dog is different and has different fears or anxieties. When I picked up my dogs from Haute Dog, they could not wait to get out of that space and were shaking. Because of COVID it was another barrier that left me with many questions why my dogs were in the state that they were.

I always tip 20% and try to be as accommodating to their schedule as possible since they aren't open late or on the weekends. This last grooming session, I asked the groomer for an overall trim and to make sure to get his face. I paid $140 including tip. Now that a week has gone by and his hair is laying more flat, it is much more noticeable that they did not take enough off his face or body. When I reached out to see if I could bring him in to have them trim it shorter, they said that they only trimmed his face (which is still too long) and not his body and said I could schedule another cut for an additional $90-$110 because their policy is that they will only do corrections within 48 hours of the appointment. Essentially asking me to pay $250 for their error because their groomer misunderstood/misheard my request. I'm disgusted by the lack of customer service and greed by a local business. I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else that cares more about customer satisfaction and the animals than their bottom line. Do better Adore.
