His nose was rubbed so that there was pink flesh and he was missing hair (dark spot) on his bridge
Elisabeth M.

I've used them plenty of times in the past and been pleased with their response to my previous dog having a seizure. Unfortunately my most recent experience was upsetting. My young dog was returned to me with a raw nose and covered in filth. They told me that his raw nose was anxiety from being crated, but he's crate trained. I was told they didn't know why they didn't notice it. I checked the video feeds daily and found dogs weren't getting attention. The dogs just walked around following the attendants, looking for affection. They likely needed more potty breaks. The staff couldn't keep up with cleaning up after accidents. There seemed to be too many dogs in the one room. Since bringing him home, he's barked at every person he sees, even me, to get attention. He wasn't a very loud dog prior to this. I feel so bad for my dog, who is only 1 year. This wasn't his first boarding. but now that he's had one bad experience, I fear that will make them stressful from now on. Upon reading more reviews I understand why he was so filthy. I'm shocked that they don't have a dedicated potty area at the very least. No one likes to urinate or defecate where they eat or sleep. That makes me feel sad and guilty for having him board there.

They have cameras in every room so you can always see what your pup is up to. They start with a slow introduction with dogs, slowly increasing the number in a room to ensure your dog is okay and not overwhelmed. They have a website for easy online booking or an app as well! I love the app as I waste away my afternoons watching the cameras to see her play! Staff has always been so great and my dog LOVES it here!! When you board, you can specify when and how much your dog eats. You can add on services such as one on one interaction time, snuggle, grooming, nail trim, etc! On your first day, you get a welcome packet and photos of their first day! Minnie and me love it here!

During the summer, spring, and fall she is a-okay because she's walked every single day - but when the walks are shorten because it's 10° we all know what happens. Cue: doggie daycare consideration. They seemed a little understaffed, but hey that's the new normal with COVID. What I can tell you is they average about three dollars an hour with me to take care of my puppy... the same price I'd pay a neighbor kid to walk them - but I get 8-10 HOURS of puppy free time. ... AND puppy is usually completely spent for 10-15 hours after I get her back. She knows exactly what / where Camp BW is and loses her stuff every time we pull up. So - for me five stars. Will update if I get wonky salon services. But for the most part the staff is courteous enough - the hours are right - and it seems to be priced okay. For now I will keep recommending (and budgeting for) CBW for my sanity in our cold MN winter months.

My wife has a client that is near by to Edina Pet Hospital and she's in that neighborhood frequently, so we thought we'd check them out after spotting their corner location. They offered Saturday appointments too, which was great for me. On our first visit we entered through the cat door, which is always a nice touch for my two kitties since they scare easy and aren't around any dogs ever. We were greeted by a young lady, I wanna say her name was Alex. Filled out some paperwork and were placed in a room (see pictures) quite quickly. The appearance of the hospital was quite clean, no hair on the floors or that urine type smell I've experienced at other places. Pleasant. We were seen by Dr. Katie (my wife's name, so I know I remembered that one). Right away I liked how she knelt down to the floor to meet our pets. She had a very calming demeanor to her and put everyone, humans and felines alike, at ease. We were visiting just for some overdue immunizations and a basic wellness check. Nothing major, but felt good when Dr. Katie reassured us of our pets wellness. She had a few recommendations for controlling weight with our male cat and told us to keep a watchful eye out on their teeth. All in all a great first visit that should be the first of many.

Daycare here is one of my pups favorite things!…read more My pup went here for YEARS! We have since moved out of the area which is why he doesn't go now. There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it.

I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.

There's so much to love, but here are a few highlights: 1. The space is CLEAN! The staff work extremely hard to keep the space clean and sanitary. 2. Dogs can access the outdoors. This is a huge plus for us! It's so nice that Frank can go in and out and get some fresh air/ outside play time. Additionally, it's nice that he uses the bathroom outside so he doesn't learn bad habits. 3. The staff are on it! They watch dogs play constantly and are extremely proactive in managing play. Things don't fall through the cracks with this team! It's comforting knowing Frank is in good hands and having safe play. 4. I utilize the extra services offered all the time for nail trims, ear cleaning, and grooming needs. It's an efficient way to get these things done at the same time he's at daycare. 5. We have boarded Frank over night here and felt extremely comfortable with this. They allow you to bring items from home to put into the sleeping space - we brought a blanket, bed, and toys for Frank which was a great bonus. Made him feel a little more at home! The staff take great care of all the dogs staying overnight! 6. A bonus! We don't use this service, but transportation is available for dogs to get to/from daycare. What a great idea! 7. The staff are beyond nice! Every person there wants to be there. They are friendly, engaging, and extremely accommodating. The best team! If you're looking for a place for your dog - look no further! Alysha and LeeAnna were so kind and flexible to move up our visits and even let us add on extra visits during our trip when something came up. Every interaction I have with Preferred Pet Sitter has been overwhelmingly positive. The administrative staff are responsive and flexible, and the pet sitters are friendly, kind, and thorough. I love the photos they send each visit of my kitties! One of my cats is a senior kitty who has strict dietary concerns and needs medication twice a day. The pet sitters were great with him, cajoling him to take his meds and making sure he only ate the approved food. That was quite the feat, considering the other two cats are on a different food and can be very shy. I can't say enough good things about Preferred Pet Sitter. Knowing my cats were well cared for, including with additional dietary issues and twice daily medication, gave me the peace of mind I needed to take the trip. I'm so grateful for this amazing business that feels more like an incredibly professional and thoughtful neighbor who cares.
