Daycare here is one of my pups favorite things! My pup went here for YEARS! We have since moved out of the area which is why he doesn't go now. There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it. read more

I do not understand how there are so many good reviews for this place. I've been to other doggy daycare places (Stone Mountain), but Ruff Love was closer and more convenient, so I thought I'd give it a try. I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there. read more

The daily feedback from the staff is always detailed and personalized on each pick up. One staff member noticed if she had time to sit with Bella-Luna during lunch she would eat all her kibbles. Doggy daycare. Who ever thought I'd invest in such a thing?! We've been bringing our sweet little pitty here since moving to NE this summer. She loves it here!! She is still a puppy and with a 2 year old toddler in the house, she just doesn't get enough run time and attention that she deserves. All PROS no cons to taking your dog to Ruff Love Ruff Love has been essential to raising a puppy in an apartment. She always comes home nice and worn out. They have raised dog beds and things to climb on scattered about outdoors. The outdoor space is a major bonus! Convenient! After your initial intro into the pack, you just drop off whenever and they charge you once you pickup. You can leave your dog's food with them and they will feed them for the day. If your dog isn't interested and won't finish their meal they will give you the remaining amount back. That all natural, grain-free food isn't cheap so I appreciate this! This has been a GREAT find for me. I work at home and so we don't need to kennel my dog very often, but sometimes I just need to concentrate on my work or I want to go work somewhere else, at a coffee shop for example, for variety. However, I always feel guilty locking up Lucy. Ruff Love Dogs gives me a break and gives her a chance to burn off all her excess energy (she is a springer spaniel, and they are extremely active). Lucy LOVES running around with dogs more than anything and that's basically what happens here-- dogs run around with each other all day long. I just brought her there for the second time today, but she seems to already recognize the place-- she could hardly wait to get out of the car when we arrived. This place is great! There are other doggy daycare options closer to my house, but I choose Ruff Love because of the outstanding service and reasonable prices. They always require the dogs to have a test-run before they will allow them to come in to daycare on a regular basis. This seems like a pain at first, but then you realize it helps guarantee your dog doesn't get injured, pick up any diseases, or learn any bad habits while at daycare. The pricing is competitive with other dog daycare services and the hours are WAYYY better (can pick up as late as 9 pm with no extra charge, which as a young professional is so convenient and a guaranteed way to keep my business). You can buy daycare packages in bulk for a reduced rate and they accept major credit cards (even my American Express - wahoo!). Plus, the employees seem to genuinely care about the dogs - they greet Arya by name when we arrive and they are just as excited to see her as she is to see them. They give me feedback every day when I pick her up as to how she played that day and she is always sleepy when I take her home, which is fantastic! Finally, the employee retention at this place seems phenomenal. We have been going to this daycare for about 3-4 months now, and it's the same people day after day (which explains why Arya is so excited when she arrives.. she gets to see her old pals at Ruff Love!) Some of the other dog daycare options we've checked out seem to have crazy turnover, so you never know who's handling your dog. Arya is a rescue and likes consistency and familiar faces, so we really appreciate this aspect :). I highly recommend Ruff Love - keep up the great work guys. read more

Bernice, my rescue lab mix, and I love Ruff Love! Like other reviewers have indicated, the staff are always friendly and motivated to provide the best level of care for the doggies that come visit. I've used both their day visits and day boarding options, and while my Bernice is more of a wallflower, the staff are always caring and eager to watch after her just as much as the more social and "fun" dogs. Barbara always leaves detailed notes and calls with updates when she is taking care of Bernice. I know that my dog is in good care when she's with Barbara or at Ruff Love. We've been bringing Lyle to RL for a year now, and love the quality service and attention they provide. All of the staff knows Lyle by name. When we get there bright and early in the morning he runs right in without a leash-- He's so excited to spend the day with his PACK! Finding a good 'doggy daycare' was top priority when I got my pup back in March. I have been absolutely thrilled with the quality of the staff, the large (clean!) indoor/outdoor areas, and the excited whimpering I receive when I say "want to go to Ruff Love today?!" He cannot wait to go through those doors, and at the end of the day we barely make it out of the parking lot before he's passed out for the night -- which is a great thing so he's calm when we take him just down the street to dog-friendly Psycho Suzy's patio for happy hour! My 5 Stars also goes towards the other wonderful eclectic pack of pooches that also attend (and their owners!). I have never worried about my 15lb pup rolling with the "big dogs". We used the in-home (deluxe) boarding. rding option over Thanksgiving and were very pleased. Barbara took the time to write a little report card on how our puppy did over the of the day/evening, was flexible with her schedule on a holiday and really seemed to love dogs and taking care of them. We also used the day care service for the first time (including drop off service) and our puppy seemed happy, well cared for and best of all, super tired when he got home! We were a little apprehensive at first because this was our first time for our puppy in a dog-sitting or daycare environment besides the 2 hour evaluation that Ruff Love does for all their clients. We LOVE Ruff love dogs! They were amazing in working with our once scared rescue pup, Winston. They gave us ideas for warming him up to "the pack" and were an amazing tool in having doggy daycare be a success! After a little help from his people and the amazing staff at Ruff Love, Winston is doing full days in daycare. He comes home happy but tired! It's awesome! RuffLove is awesome! Jessen (the owner) talked with me for quite some time when I first had Sadie evaluated. Their facility is clean, big and well maintained. As many of us dog parents are, I'm super particular about who cares for my girl. RuffLove really has a good thing going. Big open indoor space, large outdoor runs. Plus the staff is always pleasant and welcoming. They are open early and late, which isn't an issue for me but certainly helpful for other dog parents. Prices for packages are on point. I bought a 20-day package since it was my first package, I also received a 25% discount, which brought each day's "camp" to about $17... AMAZING! Ruff Love is the real deal. I recently adopted an adult hound mix. She's a wonderful little pup, but we're not quite at the place where she can be left in the house alone all day, and I would never want to leave a dog crated up all day. Enter Ruff Love. It helped that it's only a few miles from my house, but I would now drive across town to put my dog in this place's care. What makes Ruff Love great is what they offer. They don't offer "day care" per se. What they offer is a pack. You can peek in at the dogs as they do their thing and you can see them being dogs. Ruff Love screens every "applicant" to make sure a dog isn't disruptive, and what they end up with is a great setting for a dog to be a dog, play hard and come home tired and happy. I've gone the boarding option here and it seemed to treat my little girl well at a pretty fair price. read more

Lucy loves going to day care every week and we love knowing she's getting great enrichment and attention all day.
