Over the course of the appointment they kept cutting more and more very quickly without asking. By the end they had layered it and cut more than 4 inches off. I came in for a touch-up on my roots and I had blonde highlights, but they're pretty copper-brown now and the top of my hair looks like chunks of highlights. Thankfully, it's not as bad from the side, but I part my hair in the middle so it's all I can focus on. I tend to go to places based on personal recommendations, so I'm sad to say this will be my last time here. I will say, as I waited, I saw three young boys get their hair done; it seems like kids' cuts were $15 and they all looked good. However, for the $150 I spent, I would rather have spent a little more somewhere else to ensure I left feeling good about it. I went for a quick workout and they were ready to take me at 2pm. The ladies were very nice and the person who cut my hair happened to speak cantonese so she gave me good tips on haircare and told me that my hair is so wavy that it won't stay straight despite her straightening several times. I told her what I wanted and she followed it to a tee and my haircut is so well done! For straightening hair and doing layers, it's $35 + tip. I think I found my new place to get my haircuts.

When I reached out she asked me what I wanted to do and was able to give me pricing and a breakdown of everything from the beginning. Her transparency made the booking process really simple and I was so comfortable. I received a cal invite and text message that my appointment was coming up. While small, this still left a great impression Stylist Lulu was absolutely amazing and wonderful. I had ALOT of trauma with my hair. I expressed this to Lulu during my booking and she was extremely kind--especially with my almost cold feet. As she worked on my hair she walked me through each and every step. When it came to cutting she let me see and feel where she'd be cutting and didn't deviate from the plan. When the coloring began she patiently explained what she was doing, and checked in on how far up the color would go, etc. She was professional and experienced and had great command of her trade.
