" Buyer Beware : Overpriced, Sterilization issues and Snobby "…read more I have a stylist . For years when she is on vacation or an emergency. That I cant see my stylist I have been coming here . Last time , Juan the owner did my hair . The guy is a total snob , overcharges and horrific customer service. After my experience with him . I will never come to this place again . They also Google clients . Because they mentioned something about me in conversation. That you would only know if you googled me , because of the blogs I write online . ( Not a big deal just tacky and off putting ). I did find the prices high for being a salon in the middle of nowhere . However I only come here for an emergency. So it don't bother me to much. However it's grossly overpriced. Sterilization issues : My towel was damp and he said it was from being cold. I don't find this feasible. I also didn't appreciate him using a comb he took Out from a dingy draw. Also , when a place has a small percentage of reviews for the time in business . Buyer beware , because they sometimes tell friends and family to write reviews . So the place appears better than it truly is .

This person didn't apologize for being behind and then wouldn't try and be willing to be a little late for the next appt since the one prior to me was behind. I would say the atmosphere is fine but the service is very Lacking. Their hair dressers should be more accommodating and even a quick apology for running behind which I didn't get. Please have better customer service for your patrons. I get it's just a "hair cut" and as long as you do a good job, wash, clean etc it would be fine. I won't be coming back. The stylist, Mandy, asked me a lot of questions to get an understanding on how to cut my hair. She let me show her pictures of what I wanted (which were just photos of myself with a past haircut). It all felt very professional and thorough. I did not feel like she was selling me any products, which I appreciated. She was nice and friendly when everything started, but as the cut was ending, we noticed that the sides and backs were not even. Even my 10 year-old kept on saying that it was not even. Since I was sitting, I could see clearly where the unevenness was happening. But instead of getting to the back oh her hair, Rachel kept cutting the front side which kept on getting shorter. I asked her to get down to my level several times, which she refused to do and, when I took this photo and tried to show it to her, she refused to look at it and started becoming ruder. We asked if we could get a second professional opinion, but her response was that in HER "professional opinion", the hair cut was perfect. This is when Amy stepped in and volunteered to help. She took a quick look and immediately got to work. When she finished, she fixed the total botch job that Rachel did and made my daughter's hair look really nice and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, I can't add the pictures here but I posted the picture in my Google review. The 2 stars is because of what Amy did to resolve the matter. If we barged out after Rachel, we'd leave no stars if we could.

If you are paying $75 for a service not including a tip you would think the stylists would have at least a year of experience. All I wanted was 2 inches off my hair & it styled straight. The stylist washed my hair. After that she began brushing my hair very rough. She didn't brush my hair all the way through. I still had tangles & knots when she started cutting. Then she began cutting my hair. It took her about 40 minutes to cut my hair. After that she gave me blowout. At one point she kept the blow dryer so close to my scalp for too long I had to pull away the burn was so painful. I had a burn that has now scabbed over in that spot. The stylist never gave me a mirror to look at what the back of my hair looked like when she was finished. Now I know why. I actually didn't know what the back of my head looked until this picture was taken. I noticed a giant chunk of hair was much longer in my ponytail which made me question. Now I have to go to another salon & pay them to fix half of my head. My suggestion if you are going to go to this salon: stick to a blowout but beware.
