Charged more than expected for a one process. Apparently adding on a conditioner after a shampoo costs $60 but this was never shared with me at the time. I went this afternoon to have my hair "fixed" by Karen - she didn't fix it she made it worse with more chemicals more bleach and two different toner treatments because the first one was wrong. She had the assistant take out my foils without even looking at them. I have never ever had a stylist not peek at the foils before washing. My hair is destroyed. She charged me over 200 dollars for this beyond horrible experience and kept telling me how great it's going to look. Ya right I wasn't born yesterday. This is an expensive salon and they couldn't CARE LESS about their clients and try to fix their terrible work with toners. I am beyond upset. Just beware this salon and Karen is just looking to make the most money possible while literally not giving a $hit. read more

I have been getting my hair done at Grettacole for the past year and have been so happy with their services. Melissa does a fabulous cut- I wanted to change it up with an edgy, blunt, layered look and she understood my vision even better than I did! I have genuinely never been happier with my hair. More recently I've been seeing Natalie who is lovely and does a fantastic job cutting, coloring and giving me recommendations on products to maintain my hair. Natalie does the best blowout I've ever gotten- she is a magician! Love Laurie as well. For waxing I see Rimma but have also seen Eun; both are highly skilled and would trust them with my life! After tediously trying to find a salon worth frequenting, I think I may have finally found my match! Having a friend that works there (she's not a stylist just yet, but in the making!) who always looks fabulous, I knew I had to give it a shot. I had my hair cut and styled by Jenna, who had some hilarious stories and comments to share. She really took her time and payed attention to what I wanted, but also what type of cut fit my face. Grettacole is AMAZING! After an extremely awful hair color I received at another salon, I went to grettacole and saw Jenna and Tori. Let me start of by saying everyone at the salon is super friendly and welcoming but the amount of work Jenna and Tori put into my hair was above and beyond. I was there around noon and didn't end up leaving until 5:30-6! (That's how much work needed to be done to correct my awful coloring) Jenna and tori worked on my hair in between their other clients. They both were incredible and Jenna even stayed late to make sure I felt beautiful when I left! The coloring was beautiful and she even gave me a cut since my hair was damaged from the previous salon. I cannot wait to return...I highly recommend checking out this salon! I was looking for a new stylist and an update and took a chance on the reputation of the Gretta Cole salons when I purchase a bloomspot coupon. I made an appt with Greg. I was pleasantly surprised by his professionalism, his knowledge of color and a nice cut. I appreciated the way he took his time getting to know me, lifestyle and where we wanted to go with the color eventually. I thought the salon was dated and cramped but everyone I met seemed super nice. Gretchen herself came in with the new baby and greeted old an new customers in a friendly way. I will return soon for a follow-up color refresh. I'm always hesitant the second time around just because I haven't found a lot of consistency with salons and staff but I'm hoping Greg's still there!!! read more

I went to Grettacole for the first time and was very pleased with my visit. It's much bigger than out looks from the outside as it has multiple levels. Victoria greeted me with a smile and offered to get me something to drink as she showed me to her chair. We had a chat about what I was looking for and gave me a shampoo & great haircut. She asked me several times "Is this enough or should I go shorter?" That was refreshing as we have all had cuts where they chop away and you leave surprisingly short. I also loved how she showed me and explained to me the products she was using and why she chose those particular products for my hair. I also loved she didn't get pushy and lead me to the product shelf. That was very nice. Personally I like to see how the products hold up over the course of the day before I put another bottle of something on my shelf. All and all it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

I bought a gift certificate for a haircut from a level one stylist. I booked an appointment for my daughter to get a trim. She has long straight hair, it was butchered and cut unevenly. She called me as she left the salon and told me it was all uneven, even though she has no layers, and it's all one length. I waited to see it for myself. In horror, I called them , and they said they would re-charge me for them to fix it. Then they backed down from that and said that they had just changed there policy and won't re-charge. In the end, we didn't want any more damage done, so had it fixed at another salon. I was very disappointed, it was suppose to be a $65 haircut, not supercuts. Also, I had gone there years ago, at the Chestnut Hill location, and had a great haircut. Very disappointing, Never go back again, and also, never buy another gift certificate for a haircut from Guilt City. read more
