Not impressed. Took my toddler here for a trim and his hair was completely botched. The haircut took 5 minutes. Literally. We won't be back. Had high hopes for this place but was completely disappointed. They also quoted me $25 over the phone and charged me $27. $27 for a 5-minute cut. That's $324/hour. Yeah, not even close to worth it. This is a very irresponsible barbershop! Especially the clerk Lisa, I don't recommend anyone to dye their hair here. 1) The price is volatile, and the price before and after dying is different. 2） They put all the responsibility on the customer :"Because you don't know what you want" "Because it only took half an hour for others to bleach their hair, and your hair didn't fade for an hour and a half". I just want to say that everyone's hair is different from tone to texture. It's not anyone's fault for it not fading, especially the customers. I went for a consultation; showed Lisa a photo what I want, and decided to try highlighting here. After dying my hair, I found that there was almost no change to my original hair color, because the hair of High Light was too dark and there was no sand out. I tried to ask to find a middleground for a solution (can I dye the whole head or highlight again with a lighter color). Lisa said that if it was the full head color change it would require a Full Session Price.  Or a second try/appointment for the highlight costing $45. I made a second appointment after making the first full cash payment, when I emailed her to inquire about it, the price was raised to $60 again, and on the third day I texted them to cancel the appointment with them saying "because you don't know what you want" in a very bad attitude. 3) Everyone's hair color is different, and comparing customers has become a common topic/gossip in their mouths. Very disrespectful, I'd recommend them going on training on how to properly treat customers. read more

Best haircut ever! I have been jumping from salon to salon in Framingham trying to find someplace where a stylist knows how to cut hair. It took me forever to find someone who knows what they are doing. Miranda at Prism Hair Design was the answer. I have course/fine / curly/wavy hair that I have kept in a bob cut for years just because it was the only style that most hairdressers could do with such a strange combination of hair texture. I also color my hair but had no luck finding anyone who knew how to keep a color that lasted more than 3 weeks. Miranda cut and colored my hair from a bob length to short. It looks fabulous. Everyone who has seen it can't believe how much younger it makes me look and it's very flattering. I purposely waited four weeks to write this review since trying to manage a style on your own can be completely challenging. It still looks great. The prices are not cheap but sometimes you just gotta do it. So happy I found her. read more

The salon staff are friendly and have amazing customer service. I refer my friends all the time to the salon (hair, make up, wedding make up trials and facials). I Met Molli Currier (the salon esthetician) three years ago. She has changed my my life/skin. I see her every three to four months for facials. Mollie also does my make up for weddings and work events. She is professional and amazing at what she does. I got my lashes lifted and tinted recently by Mollie for the first time. She explained the product that she was using and what to expect/timeline for each step. I've received so many compliments! I strongly recommend mollie for facials/makeup/lashes. read more

I have brought my daughter to Prism a few times over the past year and I have to say they have been excellent. On several occasions they have squeezed us in with only a few days notice. Small salon tucked away in a little strip mall but a hidden gem! Lisa is absolutely fantastic with color and color correction as well. Lisa does an excellent job with my dark hair and her cuts are fabulous too..they last for months on my short hair; growing and evolving into a continous nice style as it grows. Completely disorganized. Don't wAste your time. I have been there a few times and every time the hairdresser is in a rush because she doesn't know how to schedule her time or appointments. This is an amazing salon, they are much different from most salons...they actually care about their clients.. I have been coming back from box dying my hair black And been highlighting my hair so I can go back blonde, anyways my hair still had random darker colors in it and they were able to get it to a beautiful blonde color and they use olaplex which was a miracle for my hair. It was $50 for a TRIM and it was not blow dryed or washed. It was a terrible haircut! She told my daughter that she had layers when she has never had layers in her life and she insisted she had layers and that layers would be better. At the end when she gave her some type of product she hardly gave her any and called her hair dry! This is not the first bad hair cut we have had here. read more

My entire family loves Prisms and all the stylists and artists there. Lee, the owner, has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for a few years now. It always looks great and I receive tons of compliments (even my mom likes it). I have very fine hair, which she manages to make look thicker than I deserve. My daughters both love their hair after Prisms gets finished with it. Prom and Sweet Sixteen hair and makeup was so on point; my daughter felt confident, happy and beautiful on her important days. Really didn't like my haircut, felt the stylist was very inexperienced. Also, my curly hair was bleached WITHOUT ASKING ME. I ONLY knew because I asked what the weird smell was. I was charged the price of a luxury haircut and color for what I feel I could have gotten at Supercuts. I NEVER would have agreed to the bleaching had I been asked and my hair is suffering for it. read more
