I stopped by on a Wednesday for a 5pm appointment. The place had 4 other people getting their nails done besides me so it was a pretty slow and probably the perfect time/day to come in if your looking to avoid the crowds. The place is very clean. Esthetically the place gives off a fancy vibe with chandeliers, grey and beige leatherlike chairs and faux rock/granite table tops. There's water coolers and flat screens playing the food network which is pretty standard for nail shops. The lady who did my pedicure did a really detailed job. I don't know her name but she was older and in my opinion adorable. She thoroughly scrubbed my feet with a scrub and went to town with the pumice stone which some nail techs kinda rush through. My toes were trimmed, shaped, and then I was treated to an oil/cream massage that left my legs tingly (maybe there was mint somewhere in it?) all for the "low low" standard $20 buckaroos. Overall: Style Nails hit all my personal check marks: close to my house, clean, quiet, esthetically pleasing, and they didn't rush through my pedicure. I think during Covid they forgot what customer service is. Three of my nails broke off the next day after getting a full set! Then when I went to get them fixed they said "you pay now"! Are you serious! I paid $65 for a full set that broke the next day and I have to spend a few hours getting them fixed and pay for it. This nail salon really isn't that great and definitely not worth the price. If I could give them zero stars I would. This is the most expensive and over priced salon in oceanside, do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO THERE, you will regret it, I promise. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Annie, completely rubbed my nail away with a nail file. Then proceeded to blame my nails for being thin. Guess what Annie, the only place I've been getting my nails done is at your trashy salon. When I asked what could be put on my nail to prevent infection, she stated glue. Terrible terrible experience ! The guy who did my nails was this young kid and I went there at 9 :20 am ( they open at 9) anyways he was mad ! He was so rude and did a terrible job. He cut my fingers twice and they started to bleed I was so pissed and asked him to stop if he is not feeling ok I didn't cause it ! And the end I just wanted to leave and didn't care my nails are too think and when I asked him to make them thinner her got mad and turn his machine and hi and burned my nail! I usually do not like to write bad reviews, but I feel I do need to write my experience here. I was looking forward to my appointment and hopeful to find a new place. I made a 4 o'clock appointment with Tammy for a full set. She cut my nail bed (I will post a picture); I was bleeding and it really hurt! She got up from doing my nails no less than 12 times; very distracted. (I am not a high demanding person either, I didn't complain). She never explained and never apologized. Finally after an hour and 15 minutes into my appointment she tells me that she short one person but she still never apologized. I was in the chair for an hour and 50 minutes for a full set! Needleds to say, I will not be going back. My nails look OK except for the one that she had to make shorter to hide the blood that was under my nail. Also it was 45 dollars for this full set. The guy who did my acrylics was okay. He shaved down all of my actual nail instead of only doing the acrylic part. The lady who did my pedicure was on the phone the whole time and when she was doing the massage, she started dozing off. I have been coming to this salon for a while and Tammy does my nails. For starters, they do not honor appointment times because they always take walk-ins immediately. I usually have to wait when I have an appointment. I schedule my fill with a Pedi at the same time with specific people (Tammy for my nails and Kim for my pedis's). The NEVER respect my time and because they take walk-in's all the time, it usually results in my having to wait to get my Pedi done. I have left the last two times without getting my Pedi done, because they would not start the pedi until after my nails were done. The y don't respect their clients and prefer walk-in's over regular customers. They have now lost this customer. read more

Our daughter went to get a mani pedi for prom. The lady doing her pedi told her she needed to get gel on her toes. Our daughter told her no 3 times but the lady said that they were going to do gel on her toes. It was $91 for a mani pedi when she didn't want gel on her toes. To make matters worse they did the same thing to our daughters friend. No means no! This place is awful! Don't spend your money here. I would have given this place zero stars if I could. Horrible! Worst experience ever. I am as simple as it gets. Regular manicure...no polish, nothing special. Just file my nails and clean up my cuticles, and I'll be happy. How hard is that? Apparently too hard for this place. I don't recall her name, but she is the worst manicurist I've ever had. She tore up my cuticles and swore she was doing what she was supposed to be doing. Thanks, lady! This is what I'm dealing with days later. One star for the fact that they didn't charge me, though I should be charging them for the fact that I now have to deal with this. This place is new and it's absolutely beautiful! I went in and right away they greeted me and asked if I needed help. I don't get my nails done often so I usually rely on the employees for help. Tammy helped me pick out a color and then we went to sit so we can start on my nails. She definitely made me feel comfortable and seemed really interested in our conversation which was awesome. After being cut horribly, and the uncomfortable (and ripped) chairs at Joy Nails in the same shopping center, I decided to come here for a spa pedicure. I dragged my boyfriend in as well for his first pedicure experience. I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. We chose pedicure #3 or #2 and our nail techs did not pressure us into doing the more expensive pedicures, which was nice. The nail techs also talked with us and made us laugh, which is nice compared to the quiet or awkward experiences we've had elsewhere. My tech was Tammy, we didn't catch the name of my boyfriend's. Tammy learned my name and used it throughout, which made me feel like a valued customer. And the warm lotion was a treat! Never experienced that before. I always had good service there. Except on my last visit one of the nail technicians really dug hard on the side of my great toe and it hurt for weeks. I even had to buy wider shoes because my regular shoes were too uncomfortable to wear. I still am hurting a month later and will have to seek medical care now. Lucy saved the day for me here. I had a mani pedi, but it was very rough, towels steaming hot almost burned my skin, seemed put out that I wanted a design. One of my fingers bled, from cuticle cutting, my feet are more dry then before I went in, as the other woman scrubbed so hard. I've had mani done for over 20 years, most of the time once a month. Really inconsistent quality. The last pedicure I received here, by the gentleman who seems to manage the space, was really the worst I have had in the area. Plus, the parrafin wax was so scalding hot, it felt like torture. Made him stop. I probably wouldn't be leaving a negative review at all if the gentleman who did my nails hadn't told me that he wouldn't do an accent nail with rhinestones because they "don't have them" but the box was sitting at his station.
