I was excited for a chicken pot pie, and came back on Tuesday. They didn't have any, and I was told there was a mistake with their delivery so there wouldn't be any for at least a week. Being in an Airbnb and having limited access to be able to make my own and speaking with the guys working the counter Wes said, "I'll make you one." Really, are you serious? Yes, he took time out of his day to make me a HOMEMADE chicken pot pie. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the meat, and the fabulous service I have received every time I have gone in here. The pot pie is in the oven as I write this. I also picked up a homemade pecan pie that had my name on it as well. If you are ever in the area and need good quality meat, homemade soups, and great service. This is the place!

I always bought bones and organ meat for my dog here but I bought a large bag of bison fat and…read moreafterward was told by someone that I couldn't feed it to her because it could have adrenaline. I called them but they wouldn't take it back even though it hadn't been opened. They knew what was using it for and should have told me it was different from regular fat. They lost my business.

Customer service is poor. Never a smile or "how are you", pretty much just what do you want. I only chose this place because KC meats down the street was closed and I didn't have time to drive to piedmont. When I picked up the meat, was where things went bad to worse. 1. Burger was not labeled by weight (now this is kind of my fault too since I didn't specify .5 lb or 1 lb.) but there are clearly different size packaging with no extra info. 2. Meats were labeled roast, steak or filet, oh and one package that says tenderloin. I have no idea what cuts of meat are why except the tenderloin. My backstrap is somewhere in there and not labeled. 3. Meat was wrapped in freezer paper...no big deal right? Well that's all it was wrapped in...no plastic wrap underneath. I already have frost and partial freezer burn on the meat and it's been one week since it got it back from them. Overall don't do business with this company. It is worth the drive to piedmont for the same price you get much better results.
