We loved this brewery. The woman who helped us was great as was the one in the incredible merch shop. The building is large and they have food, though we didn't eat there. The beers: Lucky Laddy Irish Ale (great) Dark Knights Irish stout (excellent) More Cowbell milk stout (very good) Nutty Pioneer (great) Pioneer Porter (great) Red Cut Red (very good) Tatanka Badlands (very good) White Knight white stout (very good) Purple Grain mixed berry blonde (excellent) Sturgis Weiss Bavarian wheat (great) Huckleberry Sour (great) Solarity Cream Ale (can)(great)

Husband and I LOVE poppers. These were legit and made fresh. Yesss

Cute, HUGE place. We went on a Saturday night at about 5:30/6pm and it wasn't too bad, definitely got busy at 6:45pm though. Nice outside area with games for kids. The place is also dog friendly, as long as the dog is on a leash. Love the vibe here. It's not a typical biker bar which is what I feel like most of Sturgis is. I love a place that offers a beer flight, which was what I got. I took a picture of the ones that aren't typically on the menu. I got a burger. It was good. No frills about it, very basic, but it WAS served with thick, fresh cuts of lettuce, tomato and onion, yum. The onion rings ripped up my mouth. So if those are the type of rings you like (no judgement from me, everyone's different) then you will love these. The flavor wasn't bad at all, just a little too rough on my girly mouth. Side salad was so good. Service was awesome as long as you got there before it got slammed. Everyone that worked there was very nice. I want to come back because my husband informed me the Rocky Mountain Oysters are actually bull testicles! I did not have a clue. Although I was confused why a place like this would serve oysters...seemed very random, but now it all makes sense. Gotta try that. Strawberry Blonde was my favorite beer!

Cold beer!

Solid flatbread pizza and cold beer. Our service was really good and we enjoyed the brewery ambiance. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

This is the Nutty Pioneer Porter. A rich, creamy beer with a chocolately peanut butter taste.

I have been here twice. Excellent ambience if you like motorcycles and craft beer. It was slow for a Saturday afternoon but we were there out of season. I always go with the Big f-ing pretzel. We added garlic butter, spicy mustard and cheese dip, it's delicious. The girlfriend ordered the cheese steak sandwich. I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich. Both were very delicious and full of flavor. The staff was awesome and knew their beers. I ordered the Nutty Pioneer Porter. If you like dark beers it was smooth and delicious. I love coming here when I'm in the Black Hills on my way to Spearfish Canyon. I suggest adding to your pit stops.

IPA on the patio. Ambience is nice. Dogs are welcome. Beer was decent.

Your wait staff are super friendly and the beer was decent. Ordered burgers. Decently busy but not slammed. After 1 hour we had to go check where they were at. 10 min later server finally comes out and said burger was too burnt to serve. THANK YOU!! but after 20+ more min still no burger. Finally comes out and it was 2 stages past well done! Crispy. Onion rings shattered when bitten. Yes we still ate them. It's 745 pm on a Sunday in Sturgis.....where else would be open for food.... Server tried. Offered a free beer each for the first delay. After second crispy burger she offered a free beer. BUT....the check only reflected a 10% discount $6.60 which is less than the price of 1 beer for 1 person. After 2 hours just didn't want to have to track her down to make it right. Disappointed. Find a better cook. Use a thermometer and a timer. Work on math skills

Food was okay. Service was okay. If customers voted that pizza as best in the black hills then I am sorry for those from the region.

We grabbed a flight and I light the Huckleberry Sour and the Blonde Ale the best.

Homemade wood fired pizza was awesome. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable…read more Would definitely go back the next time I am in Spearfish SD

Bonus Stop, not on the Hop Passport (yet?)…read more I'm going to have to start with agreeing with another reviewer on the credit card policy. We prefer to pay cash with small businesses to keep them from having to pay credit card fees (or us for that matter, if the fees are passed on to the consumer) but that seems to be unacceptable here. I completely understand having a card on file for keeping a tab open but it makes zero sense to require a card when someone wants to pay cash. We ordered a flight and wanted to pay cash but were told they needed a credit card regardless, just in case. Just in case what? I'm paying for my order before I get it. I would then be free to leave when I choose without additional work for staff or, well, me. Especially since there is indeed a credit card fee here, since we were told the cash price on closing out exactly what we initially ordered - "just let me pay and be done with it" (quoting the hubs). I'd seriously rethink that policy. On to the beer, there were a couple of stand outs, including our favorites the Dark Lager & Mouse Trap. As well as middle of the road brews, falling in the 3 range. We loved the collabs. It's always great to see businesses support each other. There are pizzas on the menu that looked pretty interesting but, circling back to point 1, we were annoyed enough by the credit card requirement that we opted for 1 & done, unfortunately. Note: there's some awesome merch &, I believe, meat for sale. Super cool.
