We've been coming here for years and taking dozens of bagels back to Texas when we were here visiting. Every single time the owners would make them fresh and even delivered them to the house for us when they were very busy. Now that we have relocated here we are in heaven being so close. Was in the neighborhood this morning and stopped here for a bagel. I haven't been here in years and it apparently has changed ownership since my last visit. The woman at the counter was very nice and friendly. The bagel was excellent! Firm on outside but not crispy. The bagel was super fresh and I'm sorry I didn't get more for later. I thought 3.50 for bagel with butter was a little pricey but everything is going up so it won't stop me from going back the next time I'm in the area. The perfect egg sandwich! My eggs were actually over medium and bacon well done like I asked. However, 7.50 for a BEC and 4.50 for a medium sized iced tea is a little much. Every other place charges around 4.50 for the sandwich and 2.50 for an iced tea. Please lower your prices and I will be ordering regularly. It's great food but come on, in these times, we can really use a break when it comes to these simple pleasures. Even 10 dollars for the combo would be okay. read more

These are the BEST bagels in East Northport/Northport! Trust me, I have tried almost all of the bagel places in town. Their bagels are always fresh and warm! Hit it right and they will give you one right out of the oven. Mmmm! And their cream cheese is homemade, which is an absolute must, in my opinion. I'm always shocked when I visit other bagel shops, and I find out that they use brand name cream cheese. Really? This is NY! Well this place does it right!! There storefront could use an update, and space inside is small (no seating,) but their bagels are INCREDIBLE! Who needs a seat? Eat them in your car! Take them home! Eat them anywhere! I'd love to give them 4/5 stars, but I can barely go there because I rarely carry cash and they have a $10 cash minimum (so 90% need cash for an individual order). First time, I had an order that was $8.50 without knowledge of the $10 min, as it was increased from $5 the week before, and she pointed at the ATM and asked me to use it for a $3 charge, I mean COME ON! She reluctantly accepted my $8.50 charge and demanded next time I carry cash. Recently, I made a purchase for myself and coworker totaling $12 (above limit), I handed them my cc and the guy says, "Sorry, we don't take AMEX", I mean WTF!? I mean it is 2014, I know you'd like to conceal your taxable income, but give me a break already, at least take all cc! Overall: customer service (convenience) is poor, food is good. Not only do they have amazing hot and iced coffee, but their food is out of this world. Have been going to stuff a bagel every Sunday for years and always place the same order: a sesame bagel, 6 rolls and a medium coffee for the cost of $8.00. Last Sunday imagine my surprise when I was told that my order now came to $10.50 because rolls are for sandwiches. And I wasn't told before I placed the order. And because 2.50 doesn't equally divide by 6 I'll assume it's a service charge. Lots of bagel stores in the Huntington area so I'll be going to another store from now on. 6 thumbs down! read more

Customer actually apologized before the employee. Was told he's a regular, which apparently makes his money worth more. With that kind of ignorant service, I will not be returning. The last 3 comments are ridiculous! I frequently stop here for breakfast and I am always served with a smile; even the employees NOT taking my order exchange greetings with me. The food is excellent; you can't find a better bagel ANYWHERE in the East Northport area... AND they remember my order since I'm a regular customer. When I have special requests, they ALWAYS accommodate me. I never spend more than 10 minutes in there because the service is fast and efficient. And this whole $10 minimum thing is found at many, if not all independently owned establishments these days. Quit throwing a tantrum about it. How do you think Mom and Pop stores survive these days? I know that you think that it's "not your problem", but hear me out. Their choice to accept credit/debit cards is a CONVENIENCE for YOU, not them. They LOSE money on your sale by accepting a credit card for a $3 purchase. This isn't a fast food restaurant, bring cash and stop whining. I never used to carry cash but when I knew I was going to get my breakfast here, I stopped at my bank's ATM first. Trust me, it isn't hard. I went to Stuff a Bagel for lunch the other day and the food was so amazing,(I had the Tuscan Chicken Salad on an everything bagel with tomato), the store was soooooooo clean and the staff was so super nice that I decided to come write them a review on Yelp. First of all, I NEVER do this, also, I was reading what the person before me wrote and I think they might be talking about another bagel store. This place is immaculate and the food is outstanding. My husband got tuna on a bagel and the tuna was so good, I am a stickler for store bought tuna, it was amazing. The girl behind the counter could not have been nicer or more accommodating to my children, who wanted macaroni and cheese, but since there was none made, she MADE IT FOR THE SPECIAL!!! WHO DOES THAT?????????? These people are a nice family and they are a really nice business. I loved spending my money there and would do it again gladly.
