We lucked out, went in the morning as they opened. Short wait about 10 mins. My son picked a starter earrings... and off he went. The tech was professional and made him feel at ease. Done in less than 5 mins. You can Venmo your gratuity. The price you're paying is only for the piercing and then add on your starter (they have different prices). Yes, a bit pricier than other shops but it's not done with a piercing gun - so more accurate technique. Got matching helix piercings with my best friend. I paid ~$190 for the piercing service and one helix earring. You can also tip through Venmo to the piercer directly after your appointment. We made an appointment ahead of time, and we only waited a few minutes once we got there. Piercer was incredibly friendly and patient. I hate needles, but she gave me a stress ball and it was much less painful than I expected. She marked the piercing area on my ear multiple times to make sure I was satisfied with the location. She didn't make me feel rushed even though I asked her to mark the piercing location about 3 times. My helix piercing healed extremely well. I was able to sleep on it within a matter of days. I love the earring option I chose, and I'm still wearing it every day over a year later. I went to the NoLita location this week for my top helix and conch piercing. I was very indecisive as I am just starting my earscaping journey. The staff was so helpful with showing me my options for placement and jewelry! They also helped me decide what piercings to get that day and what ones to hold off on. Legit places to get a piercing - the staff is friendly, down to earth, and professional. I haven't had my ears pierced since I was little so I was nervous - I went in to have a "snake bite" (helix) piercing. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and the piercer, Ashley, walked me through what she would need to do in order to get the look. She helped calm me down, gave me the real talk about the pain level to expect, and explained everything she was doing while she was doing it. The place was clean and I never felt pressured to buy anything fancy - I chose the cheapest jewelry available. The piercing has healed surprisingly well in the months since I got it although I was shocked at the amount of time it would take to fully heal (9-12 months). The cost for two piercings was $127 + tip. You will want the saline spray ($10) they sell - its awesome and will last you forever, even with daily use. This is random but I was pierced in the middle of the winter and felt like the cold weather was helpful dealing with the sting of it afterward. You'll probably need a travel pillow / donut-shaped pillow to sleep with for at least a few weeks to protect wherever your ear was pierced - this was a life saver for me. I would recommend and would use this spot again for another piercing. read more

Perfect piercing experience! I got my forward helix and was going to pierce my lobe as I had a closed second hole but my piercer, Rainbow said she could fix the existing hole, which she did. Forward helix piercing was as easy as could be. She was very calm and walked me through everything to calm the nerves. Their selection of earrings are amazing. Bought a few while there. I've been wanting get a helix piercing for a while and I finally mustered up the motivation and courage to book an appointment for a helix and lobe piercing. This place only does piercings by appointment and is pretty popular so I had to book a month in advance. I came in right when they opened and they took my temperature right when I entered. Afterwards, I filled out a waiver form and picked out the jewelry for my piercings. My piercer Rebecca was extremely kind and helped give me suggestions on which earrings to pick. The jewelry selection was a bit different than what I saw in the piercing look book on the website. There were some earrings I was eyeing but I don't think I saw them as options. There were also earrings that were offered that weren't in the look book. In the end, I decided on a pretty CZ cluster stud for the helix and then a simple CZ stud for the lobe. The piercing process was super quick and not too bad! I remember the first time I got pierced, I was so nervous. I had to see a friend get pierced first and then hold my hand when it was my turn haha. This time I was nowhere as anxious but still a bit nervous. Rebecca was helpful in talking through the process as well as answering any questions I had. The piercing itself was quick -- no more than 5 seconds and putting on the jewelry was another 30 seconds. So the process was pretty quick (but not 100% painless haha). The piercing did hurt but because Rebecca moved so quickly, the pain didn't last for too long! I also purchased a can of saline spray during my appointment. Unfortunately, after a day of use, the nozzle broke and stopped spraying. Thankfully, the store was willing to exchange the can for a new one! Finally, I didn't see this anywhere in reviews or on the site but downsizing jewelry is free of charge! read more

When the day finally came, I was very nervous but once I walked in, the whole staff made feel very comfortable, their vibe was just very cool and relaxed. I came in wanting to do 3 piercings, but they talked me out of it. They were very honest about it and how they wouldn't recommend it and suggested I got only one and come back later, after I healed for the other two. I feel like most businesses would just let you get all you want, just for the $. So I appreciated that very much. I got pierced by Ava, and she was super gentle and nice. I didn't feel a thing until after a few hours . The whole process took only like 2mins, it was super quick. It took longer to select the jewelry. The cost of it was also pretty good I think. From the service to the piercings to the style options, this place is top notch. I've had two piercings from here (back in September of 2020) and I love them both. I've also had multiple jewelry switch outs. I even once had a piercing get ABSORBED into my skin and they were able to remove it and replace it with proper jewelry that would prevent it from happening again. The piercers are skillful and knowledgeable. It's also just a very welcoming environment. The days of going to a masculine tattoo parlor to get more than the basic piercing days are over. The styles are cute with new stuff coming out frequently in trendy, feminine styles. Again, gone are the days of only thick silver barbels with industrial motifs. They have dainty gold and feminine jewelry (as well as silver still but in much more modern styles). The fashion jewelry is affordable and the piercing jewelry is more expensive but worth it. I appreciate that many of the jewelry options have flat backs. Whenever I've had jewelry break or lose quality, they're happy to replace it. I just got my seconds pierced and they literally pierced my mask and it got stuck in the earring. It's one thing if they used a gun and accidentally got my mask stuck in it, but they used a needle and honestly I don't even know how piercing my mask with the earring was even possible using a needle. By the time I realized I was already 20 minutes away and had to go to another piercing shop to get my mask removed. I also paid too much to go through that hassle, especially since I was under the impression that this was a professional and reputable establishment. Their earrings are cute but not worth it. Well I would like to start with i got two piercings here and it was both my doubles. They pierced my HAIR through my ear lobes and I had to immediately take them out. They were so infected and in pain and I felt the hair pull out of my actual ear lobe when I took them out. Also - when I tried twisting and pulling the earring.... THE ENTIRE BACK OF THE EARRING WENT THROUGH MY EAR. Absolutely do not recommend this location. Now I have to wait a year for them to be repierced! read more

Mediocre at best. It's a cute storefront and the marketing is great but it's way overpriced for what's offered. The girls working the front were just ehhh, not the friendliest. My piercer was great and very knowledgeable. However I was disappointed to find out that for a rook piercing all the cute jewelry they advertise is not suitable. All the cute studs have butterfly backs and you can easily find them on Etsy or Amazon for like a 1/3 of their price. Once you get lead to the back piercing rooms you realize the overhype. I spent almost $200 just changing a tragus earring and piercing my rook which developed a keloid a week after piercing it and is still healing. I recommend going to a regular piercer and just change your jewelry once your piercing has healed. read more
