They offer a nice series of classes and special events, even on Thanksgiving morning, Christmas Day morning, and New Year's Day morning. The studio has a serene, relaxed atmosphere, and whoever is at the desk always seems genuinely happy to see you. I'm really enjoying coming here for classes and trying new things. If you're unsure about yoga, don't be--it's a safe, welcoming space. They offer a variety of classes, including vinyasa, restorative, yin, and other special classes. Everyone is welcome here. The beauty of M/Body is that they really offer everything, including personal training and some options for getting workouts in around normal class times. HIIT classes were (and still are) my absolute favorite, and the classes here are exciting and station based. I will never take barre again based on my experience here, but that has more to do with me and nothing to do with the quality of the classes - pretty sure this is one of the best barre experiences in the area...I just think all barre experiences are criminal and TORTURE. I digress. If you're looking for a snappy, clean facility in a perfect location, M/Body is for you. They consistently run specials on pricing and are especially good to their first timers. (Those teachers didn't stay long.) The experience here is phenomenal. This is true yoga, not the junk that corporations pass off as yoga. There's truly nothing better than a yoga class at Sky and taking in that gorgeous view of the lake, no matter the season. I came to Sky 3 years ago petrified that I'd make a total embarrassment of myself as I had never attempted yoga, but they were so helpful and welcoming that I instantly fell in love with yoga, and despite all of the studios around the country I've now frequented, Sky will always be my favorite and hold a special place in my heart. Their instructors are absolutely amazing; Courtney weaves her passion and love for the business into every thing she does, it's palpable. The community of classmates are always so friendly and warm; it's the closest thing I presently have to my own little community and I always look forward to connecting with them. There's always something new and fresh to look forward to in addition to the perfect weekly schedule which is created to have something for everyone of any skill level. Presently during COVID they have a really great system in place for streaming, special classes and more, though I'll always prefer the in-studio experience (which is open and very clean!) I can't wait until Covid passes and we can go back to the full classes full of love and light, I look forward to the little things they do to make every class special (essential oils, lighting, amazing music).
