Laser not as effective as the place I was going to before. Hair grew back more (almost entirely) after coming here despite getting laser at the same frequency as before & having close to no hair growth at the time when I switched over to here. Obviously there's no way to know for sure but it seems a lot like they lower the strength of treatments to try to get you to buy more sessions. Wouldn't recommend. You can get better, more effective laser hair removal that lasts for way cheaper than it is here. They also make you sign an arbitration agreement & waive your right to sue so if anything goes wrong with the service, you're kinda screwed. The other reviews about their shady business practices are true, I wish I'd seen them beforehand. The staff were nice enough though; occasionally there were kind of long wait times but they are very flexible & accommodating with scheduling sometimes so it compensates. read more

I was talking to an intake representative over social media regarding a particular service that the company provided, the rep ask me for pictures, which I send 3 we discussed price, down time, procedure time etc, so they schedule me to come visit, which I assume was to see the doctor and go over everything, hunnie when I got to the brooklyn office I was greet by front desk, then after I filled out all paper work another lady came and got me she didn't introduce herself. She just told me who she was. She didn't ask me my name or anything, I'm doing just took the pictures and went over prices and if I want to schedule another appointment to see the dr in Manhattan! This location is their newest location, it is sparkling clean, has the latest technology, and is convenient to get to (near many trains). I have always struggled with traditional facials which irritate my skin more than help it, so a friend introduced me to Lora last winter who suggested microdermabrasion and a calming facial. To be honest my skin never looked better than when she finished whatever she did. Last month I reached out to Lora again and went to her new Brooklyn location for a consultation. I told Lora a horror story about a friend who had laser hair removal a decade ago and that I was nervous about laser in general. She told me that the technology has improved and was not painful anymore. We decided to do laser hair removal under my arms and in some of my bikini area the same day. Her colleague Inga performed the service. She was patient with me which I greatly appreciated. Not only was the procedure quick but it was not painful!! After we finished I made an appointment to come in for microdermabrasion and Laser Genesis on a weekend just in case I wanted to hide after. Several weeks later I came in for microdermabrasion and Laser Genesis. When Lora was finished Microdermabrasion, we continued on with Laser Genesis which felt slightly warm when she went over my face. Not only does Laser Genesis break up the oil and dirt, but it rebuilds collagen and evens out skin tone. The procedure was not painful. I left the same day and was completely fine... Now I understand why this is one of the most popular laser treatments. My skin looks MUCH more even and my skin feels baby soft. I'm impressed that there was no pain or downtime. I could have had this facial on a lunch break! Whether you are looking for laser hair removal, which I had here and does not hurt at all... or you want to have a Laser facial (Genesis or Fraxel) there are many impressive options here which can help you have better-looking skin.
