I found myself in need spray head replacement for a 15 year old Kohler kitchen faucet, called Kohler customer Service on my own, and 6 long weeks later was sent the wrong part. Looking for a solution I went to the Studio 41 on rt. 59 were I was greeted by Melissa Curtis. I am here to sing her praises, In a matter of minutes she contact Kohler and found out my faucet was now obsolete and no replacement part would work. Melissa explained my situation and was able get me a brand new faucet, that was delivered to my home in just a couple days. In this day and age it is no longer common to receive outstanding customer support and a company that stands behind their products, Kohler and Studio 41 does. Melissa was a pleasure to work with and kept digging and pursuing a satisfactory solution. I am currently in the beginning stage of planning a bathroom remodel and will definitely be going to Studio 41. read more

My review is on service. The designer Michelle that I worked with on 3/18 appeared to be interested in my bathroom remodel project at first. I sent her measurements and she asked for a few more. I promptly responded and then there was nothing. No acknowledgment of receipt and no follow-up. Im guessing my project was of no interest to her. As a result I lost a week of progress on a project that I am excited about and hoping to start this month. To sum it up, I view this as terrible customer service. Now I have to start from scratch and finds someone to help me. Never going there again and will advise anyone who ask not to bother. read more

Worked with Danielle J from the Naperville Location for more then 4 years on a few projects that involved hundreds of details and moving pieces and she executed flawlessly. When supplier's didn't deliver exactly the right thing she fought hard to make it right. Our first project turned out beautifully so far and while not everything was perfect , mostly it was wrong parts sent or cabinets made incorrectly - she took care of them instantly. I will hopefully have decades of service from these cabinets, plumbing and other items and enjoyment and she made it easy and as good a process as it could be. We had an issue with the install and Angela Campos helped us resolve it by guiding us to the right product (a pipe thread). I am pretty particular and like to choose my own things, however Jenn always gives helpful insight on our Kohler and Robern products. She knows my time is limited and always has everything ready for me when I am there, so I can be in and out. Sending samples to my home helped tremendously with my crazy work and kid schedule. Instead, they are choosing to blame the customer. In addition, one of the main pieces for my new shower was backordered, and nobody cared to notify us until we called them. This is a very difficult review to write. I had read the reviews and you either have a 5 star experience or a 1 star experience. The showroom is beautiful and they know they are the only show in town. The receptionist greeted me and immediately sent me down to the outlet store at the other end of the strip mall. When I came back she acted surprised that they could not help me. So, she told me to look around and come back if I find something. Well, I did come back. Not only did she ignore me, but everyone else sitting at their desks ignored me. I got on my phone and called my husband and loudly enough for the staff to hear, I told him I could hava a heart attack in here and no one would care. The receptionist finally came over and when I showed her what I was intersted in, she told me I should speak to Kathy and we walked over to Kathy's desk. Kathy got off her phone and completely ignored both of us as she walked away. So, they are rude to their fellow employees so I did not take it personally. The receptionist walked around and finally found someone who would help me. I was able to order what I needed and was told to call in about a month to check status. Wait ~ what? I have to call you, you don't call me???? Well, I received an email when my order came in and there is a phone number to call about pick up. The young lady was shocked that I wanted to pick up my order in Naperville and not in Logan Square in the city. I could hear the eye roll as she said she would put that request in. I figured it would get lost somewhere. To my surprise, I received a call from the person who helped me in Naperville letting me know my order was there. There is a sign on the door that recommends you have an appointment, maybe that would help, even if you are the only customer in the place. read more

Great selection of products in the Naperville store for my small bathroom remodel. However, the order time was long, and I was not made aware that some of the plumbing fixtures were backordered. I would have picked something else had I known the likely delay. Four months later I still do not have what I ordered and cannot use our brand-new shower. Additionally, when I call the store to speak to my designer, I always go to voicemail. I called the manager to see if they could help, but I never got a phone call back or even an acknowledgement of my frustration. Lastly, It seems the designers could use someone to oversee shipping and delivery as this would remove a huge burden from their already busy workload. read more

When we bought an older tri-level house in the heart of Glen Ellyn back in 2006, we knew from the start that the kitchen and dining area were in serious need of remodeling. Over the years, we had several designs drawn; however, all led to the conclusion that in order to do it right, we needed to go full-out open concept on our entire main floor, which meant literally renovating a complete third of our home, incorporating our kitchen in the open layout. In mid-2022, with plans in hand, we finally commenced the project and began working with Carol Gadbaw at Studio 41 on our design. From the very beginning, Carol enthusiastically shared our vision and the bold decision to go open concept on our main floor. Carol gently brought us through the myriad choices and decisions necessary for us to realize our dream kitchen. From cabinetry to quartz countertops, from drawer handles to backsplash, sink and faucet, Carol competently guided us with warmth, patience (and humor!) At no point did we feel pressured in our decisions. After the first major choice, selecting our beautiful Schrock cabinets from Studio 41, Carol openly provided us with dimensions and information to shop our other materials both within Studio 41 and elsewhere. (Notably, while we did so, we ultimately wound up purchasing all our materials from Studio 41.) Behind the scenes, Carol worked fluidly - often daily - with our contractor and with the Studio 41 team to bring our project to completion, impeccably and on time. The only reason I am even able to give this business one star is due to the fact that the showroom is pretty and they do have a nice variety of products. Unfortunately, that is pretty much where the positives end. The staff and "designers" are less than helpful. The hours are incredibly inconvenient for people who work. Our designer never had hours available after 4:00 and they are closed on Sundays. She was incredibly slow to respond to both emails and phone calls. I reached out to her to ask her a question about specifics of the cabinet paint color. She informed me that the company doesn't release that information. Some digging and a phone call and email later I was able to get the information directly from the cabinet company. She was absolutely zero help which was disheartening considering the amount of money we spent. Lead time on cabinets was incredibly long and when cabinets did arrive the entire appliance garage was incorrect with the sides unfinished which caused yet another delay and we hosted Thanksgiving with one cabinet incomplete, which impacted the ability to complete the tile backsplash around that crown portion. There were also missing trim pieces for the island. When our designer from Studio 41 said she would have them sent, she neglected to make sure they were sent in the color that actually matched the cabinets, leaving our contractors to have to paint them to match. I have 2 family members completing remodels and I have been sure to stead them far away from Studio 41. If you are looking for quality support and designers who are communicative and know what they are doing, look elsewhere! read more

Staff must be paid 100% commission and no salary? I have never been so insulted in my entire life! Wife and I are getting ready to do major Master bath renovation. Pulled in and went into the Studio 41 outlet first on far right end of strip mall. Was greeted and walked around, had a few questions answered. Spent maybe 15 minutes in store, and 2 minutes with the sales associate. Decided this was not for us we needed a little more handholding in the selection and ordering process. (The outlet seems like a great store if you know what you are doing and looking for a specific product) The sales associate here was very friendly as well. Second stop was Studio 41 on left end of strip mall. Walked in and were greeted; said we want to look around and get bearing on the store along with a few ideas, then look at specific items with her. Sales associate came and checked on us after about 5 minutes, I posed a question about the freestanding plumbing for a soaker tub. She quickly responded. In that conversation I mentioned we had already stopped at the Studio 41 outlet and she cut me off mid-sentence and quickly responded "oh, you are already working with someone"....and before I could even respond, with what would have been a no.......She could not have turned and ran away quicker if she was an Olympic track star! So, in case she was to read this NO, I am not obligated to working with someone because he answered 2 questions at another store (all be it a store that is owned and operated under the same name, just the outlet version) Absolutely INSULTING......Left here and went to Fergusons in Oak Brook. Much better experience. My rough estimate is that I will be spending between $15-$20K on items that are my responsibility out of scope of my contractor. (soaker tub, tub plumbing, countertop, mirrors, lighting fixtures, sinks, faucets, tile, shower system etc.) I WILL NOT SPEND A DIME OF THIS BUDGET AT STUDIO 41 THANKS TO THE SALES ASSOCIATE! read more
