Once I arrived at the salon I was greeted and taken back. I showed the stylist MY hair from 6 months ago that I had done at a salon in New Jersey. (I've included the picture I provided the stylist and the outcome) The stylist started and I had a feeling she didn't understand my hair or that it pulled warm tones even after I mentioned it 10 times! Cut to 2.5 hours later my balayage is now a weird grey at the tips, completely ORANGE in the middle and black at the top! Absolutely NOTHING like the photo I showed them! I was obviously unhappy and had no time for her to redo it since I'd been there for almost 3 hours already! The kicker was the owner came out and gave me a lecture about how it was impossible to get my hair that light in a single process! Which is a loaf of bullshit! The other salon did my hair in a single process and it looked spectacular unless this place who obviously needs to send their stylist to NY or some other place for some more training! Not only did I get a lecture they told me to come back NEXT week and they wouldn't charge me full price to fix it. These people are out of their minds! I wouldn't go back if they paid me! The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, the aesthetic is so chic, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming. I genuinely liked the stylist as a person (Katie), and she made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was not what we discussed. Before the appointment, I had a consultation where I explained that my hair is difficult to cut and that I've had issues in the past with people not layering it correctly. I specifically asked for multiple blended layers, we talked through it together, and I even showed reference photos so we were on the same page. The end result looked more like harsh shelves than layers, and my hair ended up feeling butchered. I actually specifically said that I didn't want shelves. I also ended up having a lot of split and uneven ends. It was very disappointing because I had been so clear about what I wanted, and I left feeling like all of my concerns during the consultation weren't reflected in the final cut. I don't doubt that they're talented or that others have had great experiences here, and I truly appreciate how kind everyone was. But after my experience, I wasn't comfortable returning.

Our nails came out looking great, however my nails started chipping within 2 days of being done. After the fourth day, they looked pretty shabby so I decided to put some top coat on to try and get them to last a little longer. Well, that was a bad idea because now I have odd strata like lines on a few of my nails.
