I've been here twice and both times I've gotten a pedicure with nail polish and a design. Massage chairs are awesome and both times I left very satisfied. My most recent visit I had picked out a design that was moderately complicated and beings though I knew that, I was flexible on how the nail tech did her artwork. They turned out beautiful! I appreciated that she really took the time to look at the design and take a decent try at it. She didn't act annoyed or bothered. The lady who give the shoulder massage while you are drying is phenomenal! Make sure to tip her! I only gave four stars as I wouldn't get my nails (on my hand) done here, but only because I like/have acrylics. They don't do acrylics here...only gel manicures and paint. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I love coming here for my pedicures. read more

Hectic atmosphere! Could be 5 technicians working on your nails. Everyone is jumping up and tending to other things. Poor communication skills. I could never find out exactily my options. When questioned I found rudeness not help. No price list. Most salons post their prices. I found my nails lasted 2 weeks before needing repairs. When questioned the woman confirmed this. This business is alright. The customer service has to be my least favorite part and there pricing can get a little funky. I usually get my eyebrows and lip waxed, but when I asked to get my mole waxed on my chin they charged me for a full face wax instead... For one mole hair. Let me preface this by saying I have never written an online review before. I'm writing this so that I can save another person some money in the future. I have been going to CoCo for years and it has gradually declined through the years and I will never return there. I don't even want to give this establishment one star after today, but this site won't allow me to do so. I went there because there are many chairs and the proximity to my house. Today, the staff was ignorant. They screamed at one another across the room. They conversed with one another in a different language and incessantly chuckled while making us feel self-conscious. They were incredibly over priced for rushed, poor quality results. I was there today with my mom, my 3 daughters, and my oldest daughter's friend (6 all together). My children, all under 12, all well behaved and no strangers to manis/pedis asked for polish only on their fingernails and toenails. I was charged $24/child for the 3 oldest girls, but they gave my 7yr old a spa pedi "because she pointed to it on the list" and charged me $60 for her manicure/toenail polish (again...she's 7 and doesn't have any concept of money). Had they seated us next to one another, I could have assisted in this process, but I was actually taken to a back room for my pedicure where there water was cold and the chairs were about 25yrs old. I had a gel manicure, and while I love the color, it was the most painful manicure I ever received. I also noticed that no one cleaned the ultraviolet hand dryers in between clients (gross). Luckily I had antibacterial wipes. The aesthetician was incredibly rushed and as a result very rough. We were herded through like cattle as they clearly want to push as many people through as possible to make the most money in the shortest amount of time. My toenails are already chipping (I got home 2hrs ago). They did not put a clear coat on my toes and they kept adding nail polish remover to the bottle to thin out the sediment and stretch the supply further. I tried to explain that I was unhappy but no one understood me. $262 later we all have very goopy/bumpy nails and it was the furthest thing from a relaxing experience. This was the fastest gel mani/pedi of my life. In and out in 40 minutes. You can't receive a quality mani/pedi in that time. They are very clearly trying to rush customers in and out to get more money. My manicurist cut my nails way too short in her hurry, pushed back my cuticles so fast and hard, then quickly ripped my skin on the sides of my nails. She was pulling my hands out of the light. I gave this place a second chance. The first time I went the girl who was doing my nails slapped me on the hand because I was trying to look at the color I choose. This time around it was even worse. They don't communicate well, they rush you and they are just plain rude. For a change of color they wanted to charge me $15 more than a manicure. Terrible service. read more

I had a gift card here and used it to get a manicure. It was my first time here and I did not know what to expect. After fixing my cuticles and such the woman doing my nails made me pay then and there before she would start paining my nails. In addition the nail file and buffer used on me were used on previous customers which is not sanitary. I only had a basic manicure done which cost $12 and I was surprised it lasted about three days before chipping for that price (most places charge around $25 for a basic manicure) I will definitely not go back. I don't care how long a manicure lasts it's not worth risking an infection. read more

Absolutely horrified. My mother and I went in for manicures pedicures and I got gel on my nails (with needing a gel removal as well). $25 for pedicures... which literally means polish. Short soak... no trimming... no buffing... no touching of the heels. While getting my gel removed BY THE OWNER she swiped my nails with the remover so fast I began to bleed. She didn't soak any of our nails to remove cuticles, instead she used nail polish remover and yanked them off with the tool. Then when someone else was available, she had them take over my nails. Never have I felt more rushed in a nail salon in my life. For their prices, you should definitely receive more quality. When I confronted the manager about her service, she blamed a younger employee and loudly scolded her in front of the whole salon. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS. read more

Heard this place was good but lately going down hill, regardless I thought I would try it. Well it must have gone down hill. I made an appointment - and that was completely pointless as I wasn't seen until one hour later. Then I was rushed.. Got a pedi and gels done. Pedicure besides the actual polish was pointless it looks like they did nothing to my feet (skin and what not) I was left unattended for 10 minutes down the pedicure part for her to go massage someone.... Then time for the gels, they look good minus it looks like I have had them on for a week... There is too much space between my nail as skin that is not polished, they rushed the process. A woman goes from client to client and skipped me? Not sure why it was just my luck I guess that day. But then we paid (I went with my sister in law) and drop $158 on two pedicures and two gel manicures. ARE YOU KIDDING. Outrageous in my optimism. Maybe if I was in the city.. But Clarke summit? I went in for a pedicure. First off, the chair has no cushion and was extremely uncomfortable within a minute. I had 3 different nail techs that kept tag teaming me. My heels are in rough shape, I wear flip flops in the summer. None of the nail techs did anything to address my heels. Nor was I offered additional services. When I was drying, I had a chance to look at them and they were in dreadful shape. I pointed it out to the woman who finished with me. All they did was start speaking a foreign language blaming each other. I just told them to forget it, I'll work on them at home. I highly recommend you try some other place. read more

I'm a regular at Coco's and appreciate it even more because I was out of town and needed to get my nails done. Coco's equipment is modern and updated frequently . They are very careful about keeping their tools hygienic . The place I went to out of town actually dropped the tools on the ground , picked them up, and used them on a customer. I get pedis, manis, and shellac at Cocos and am always pleased with the results. In addition, they give you a 3-5 minute massage at no charge (although I always tip a couple of dollars). read more

The cuticle clipper that the manicurist picked up to use on me still had pieces of cuticle from the prior customer - had not been cleaned AT ALL. When I confronted her on this, she initially just brushed the skin off without any further cleaning. Unacceptable. read more

I love the massages and the unpretentious service. Overall they genuinely care about doing a great job and I would say for the price point they are awesome. The environment is friendly. Are they perfect? Well who is? I went in for a new twist on a French mani: black with gold sparkles (see photo). It was a bit bumpy communicating what I wanted, but it worked out and no time was wasted. The location and environment are great and you can get a stamp card for a free mani after you buy 10. Takes me over a year to do that but why not. I prefer not to go anywhere else. read more

I tried to privately send an email but the feedback section on their website doesn't work. I have been going to Coco for years. Not a huge regular but treat myself from time to time. I don't like the manicures so I don't get them. I don't use polish just want well cleaned up nails and hands. Without soaking this won't happen. I usually get pedicures and massages. I decided to treat myself this morning and was terribly disappointed in my pedicure. I was in and out in 15 minutes. No scrub, barely a massage. I could easily have done this myself. Sorry but $25 plus tip was not worth it at all. I will probably not be back unless I spurge on a massage which are fabulous at your business. read more

I went to Coco's for an acrylic fill. I called and made an appointment, but when I got there I realized it was a "walk-in" place, which made the conversation on the phone about what day and time I wanted to come a little silly. The customer sitting at the station next to me asked if my nails were acrylic. I told her they were. She told me that they didn't do acrylics there. Then the tech told me that they didn't do acrylic, but they did powder, and asked if I wanted to try that. Here is where I am to blame for some of the confusion: I had no knowledge of different kinds of nails, methods, etc. When I had my nails done initially (at another location) it was the first time I had ever had acrylic nails, and I remembered that there was powder involved (acrylic powder). I asked if they would put that right against what I already had, and would that be a problem. The first tech said something about how they would file my nails, then put something on top, it sounded right to me. The tech that was actually doing the work was very diligent and very thorough. She filed the crap out of my nails. She filed so diligently, in fact, that some of my own nails, behind the acrylic, began to turn bright purple. After all the filing was done, she applied layers of polish, and had me put my hands under a uv light. Later I learned from a friend that what I got was shellac. I never asked for shellac, and neither tech ever told me I was getting it. I wanted to keep my pink and white french manicure, so she just applied a layer of light polish. When it was all done, I could see a line on most of the nails where the acrylic met my own (now bright purple) nail. The initial tech asked if I liked them and I told her I didn't think I should be able to see this line. A customer beside me tried to explain what was happening, and that the same thing happened to her nails the first couple times, although I'm not sure why they all seemed to think it was ok. My thumb and two other fingers look very strange because the purple from my own nail is showing through, creating a sort of uneven two-toned look. In some ways they look like they had been injured. Additionally shellac was applied over several black streaks that were made by the nail file. I paid $35, which isn't a fortune, but I had no idea what I was paying for. On the day I went, the place was crowded--so they must do something right. My nails are very smooth, the polish was applied very cleanly. My complaints are: I feel like they took advantage of the fact the I knew very little about what I was doing. They took the liberty of giving me something and not telling what it was or what I would pay, and they changed the length and shape of my nails without asking. read more

I have been going to Coco for the last couple of years and unfortunately they have been consistently getting worse. My last visit (after giving them one more try the third time) has left me looking for a new facility. I always get a mani/pedi and bikini wax. To sum it up shortly they placed me in a broken chair and giggled about it being broken and skipped the scrubbing of the heels... When I went for the wax the table was not cleaned off.. When I changed the paper myself the oil from the previous customer soaked thru.. as if that wasn't enough for me to walk out the owner came off annoyed at me and left my skin burned from the wax!! Needless to say I'm bummed about it always liked the place.. Now it seems to have turned into a sweat shop. read more

This is a really nice place. Everyone is so nice and the atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. I got a French pedicure and it was wonderful. The only reason I didn't give them five stars, is that they don't offer acrylic nails. They provided me with a nice alternative though. And when I was getting my fingers done the lady kept walking away to do other things which made it take longer to finish my nails. Over all it's very nice and I will be going back. read more
