I came here for the first time and got a powder dip mani and a sugar scrub pedi. They were really short staffed and taking appointments but I was able to get in, luckily. The lady that did my mani made me feel like she was rushing, she cut 3 of my fingers. She only used the drill thing to clear my cuticles, no soaking, nothing. When I told her I wanted my nails shorter, instead of cutting and then filing, she just filed them. A lot. My nails came out ok, I've definitely had better results at a different salon I go to. For my pedi, what made me laugh is that there was literally nothing different about this pedi than any one that I've gotten at other places, which is standard. The sugar scrub, was a 2 minute placement and rub on my legs and feet, which again, has been standard anywhere else. No quick foot massage either. She kind of rubbed lotion into my skin and was done. My toes do look nice though, so no complaints on that. Because I left with 3 cuts on 3 different fingers, I probably wouldn't go back. They are very nice, and the environment is nice but not nice enough to spend more than I spend elsewhere for better services.
New to the area and this nail place is right down the street. It was empty when I arrived so I was happy to have the place to myself. I got a deluxe pedicure with hot stones and wax. The pedicure looked stellar, like amazing, and it's been lasting beautifully. The massage chair stopped working halfway through but that wasn't a huge deal to me, however I was disappointed I wasn't offered a drink or anything. Maybe that's just me. I would go back for the work that was done, but it's not a luxury experience if that's what you're used to.
I Usually go to this place when I cannot go to my place in Katy Tx today 2/6/23 I went in, and notice the chair was sticky on armrest maybe they forgot to clean it who knows .., 2nd I asked Ms. Anna for a water since, I forgot mine, her response was that the other lady that was going to do my feet would bring it (I never got it) I do believe that water should be offered to us especially when we're going to spend more than $100....3rd I always Get shellac but due to the fact that she charges an extra $25 for that ...today I decided just to do regular polish... and it turned out visibly horrible it was sloppy and unfortunately, I will have to get my toes redone later today at a other place, plus I was charge $5 to take off my Shellac polish...4th I believe this place does nail price gouging $25 for glitter? they nickel and dime you, That's more than what the whole container of glitter cost, and $10 to take off my nail polish? Come on Kim... are you hurting that bad for business? There is 1000 nail places on Westheimer that I could go to, but I always choose to go to you, when I cannot go to Katy Tx.....5th left my finger nails (Dry and ashy), cause she was to busy with a other client, to put the finishing oil on me...6th I ended up paying $115.00 I did give a $15 tip because the feet lady did rub my legs and it felt good. 6th they use the same dry machine on fingers and toes, wash your hands ladies feet be in those machines and they Don't sanitize them you can clearly see all the stuck on dirt in definitely LOST me as a client (I will never go back there again.)
Went here on 4/5/14, my first and last time there. The lady who I didn't get her name, but she had her hair up in a bun and she was a little darker than the other asian ladies there. Well we talked and I told her what I wanted and mentioned it was my first time. She started to work on me, and when she got the tool to clean the side of my nails...maaaaan, I don't know wtf was wrong with her, or what was on her mind, but she fkn slid that thing so fast and hard to the point it made me yell out. She apologized and I said out loud that yo, you are using that thing kinda rough on my toe. She apologized again and continued even though I was still hurting. Next thing you know, my toe starts to bleed. I told her to stop and showed her because she didn't even notice!!! She then tried to say that there was something in my toe that caused it!!! Yea!! Your fkn tool that you jammed into my fkn toe!!! We went on a debate for a little bit because she kept saying there was something in my toe that caused it to bleed. Now, I ain't never had anything wrong with my fkn toes in my life. I kept telling her loudly, enough to where her coworkers heard everything where they asked her what was going on. You fkn jammed the shit out of my fkn toe!!! She sprayed something on my toe to help clean the area, but it didn't sting, so I don't think it even got inside the wound to sterilize it. She then apologized numerous times and even questioned me when I said that I am stopping this pedicure. I was like yea, my toe fkn hurts!! You are not putting any other nail shit on my toe when obviously it has an open wound on the side now!! Normally I would have raised hell, but I just no and walked out. Later on I did call the shop back and I spoke to a lady named Anna who turned out to be the shop manager. I told her the incident and she asked if I could come back and I guess to point out the lady that worked on me. I told her I didn't have the time because I really did have other errands to do. She apologized and said ok when I told her, yo, something happen to my toe, I am calling y'all about it. She seemed real nice and said that yes to call her if anything else happens. So when I finally got home, I cleaned the area some more and put neosporin on it and put a band aid. It had stopped bleeding and I have asked my friends should I go see a Dr now, but since it stopped, we thought maybe it was something minor. The only thing we was worried about was if her tools were fkn cleamed or not. Well I had a lot of shit to do Saturday. So Sunday, toe was still hurting and it looked swollen and felt hard. I left it alone. Monday night, I checked on my toe. I touched the side where she jammed that fkn tool in to see if it was ok. And yup.....fkn puss started to come out. It was already too late in the night to do anything about it. So today, I am going to get a shot and most likely antibiotics for this shit. I won't ever go back to this place again. And the next time I go to any nail salon, I'm going to tell them to take it easy on my fkn feet. But I shouldn't have to tell anyone that. It's your job to handle people gently when using any type of tool!!! You should know this shit!! Y'all may have had a good experience but I didn't. I do not know wth was wrong with that lady that day. UPDATE: Just spoke to Anna and she was really nice and apologetic about the situation. She told me to bring the bill and meet at the shop so she can look at my toe too. Unfortunately, I have to events to go to after work for today and tomorrow. She was fine with a picture. But I will still stop by on Thursday to speak with her. She said she will reimburse me for the trouble. Not a lot of Asian owned place I know would do anything like that. They would try to avoid or fight you over it. I will definitely change my star rating once I actually see this take place, but it does help that she said she would take care of this for me and that is very much appreciated. I am sorry though that I won't be coming to this place again due to the experience. But so far, for customer service...Anna is great at it. A business owner should want to help the customer in situations like this. Another fkn UPDATE!!: So now, Anna tells me she needs to see my toe first before I go to the dr. Sorry, I can't leave work right now, and you are far. If you wanna meet me halfway, I will definitely show it to you. Her husband wants to actually see and be sure it is my toe. I'm not one to try and scam anybody, I'm very honest about my shit. So if you wanna meet me halfway, I have no problem doing that before I go to the dr. I have other events to be at after work so the only time I told her I can see her is Thursday and I"m not waiting that long to get a fkn tetanus shot or antibiotics!!!! WTF!!?!? Her attitude about things kinda changed when he husband stepped in. I understand that y'all wanna be sure, but I can tell you that it is my damn toe. And I was willing to meet any of them halfway.
The establishment owner (Anna) was very rude. She didn't acknowledge me when I walked in the shop to inquire the service I wanted. She rushed through the pedicure. The atmosphere was not relaxing at all. I wanted to also get my nails done but when the news came on discussing the Sandra Bland arrest and her death. She and another customer laughed at the incident. You don't have to agree with the situation but it's only human to be sensitive to the death of a young lady. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME IN THIS SHOP!!! We are all human people. #ALLLIVESMATTER --------------------------------------------------It's no need to go back and forth we both know that the environment was made uncomfortable and the comment was funny to you. Again #ALLLIVESMATTER WOW...continue receiving monies from a minority group you don't even respect!!
People seemed great, but I came in and was told a full set was $30. Wasn't offered anything to drink, didn't worry too much about it, just sat and let the technician to her thing. I told her to leave them a little long because I'm super picky about my nail shape, so I go home and file them myself. They decided to charge me $5 extra AFTER they kept them long (maybe advise your customers that you're going to overcharge them BEFORE you continue services) After 3 days, TWO NAILS FELL OFF. And now my nails are destroyed underneath. Garbage equipment, tools, and experience.
I came here to get a Dip Extension, beyond them being extremely expensive and adding $5 for every damn service on top of they're $50 base price this lady attempted to do a coffin shape with my real nails which were long as hell and she ruined 6 months of growth. She didn't listen to me and worse she wanted to argue with me and call me cheap, I only came here because I was on a time crunch and this place is near my house but I have never felt more disappointed and appalled by here disgusting behavior DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON it's peak of the a Saturday afternoon and now I understand why they were so dead when we walked in, because their service is awful. And I feel like crying because my nails are absolutely destroyed because of some ignorant woman who can understand english and can't take accountability for her actions
I have been going here for years and would never consider going anywhere else. Anna (the owner) expects quality from each of her nail techs. She is super talented and artistic. They are all amazing
Just found this lovely nail spa and I will be back regularly! The service is great, good prices, and the employees take care of you. You'll feel very comfortable right when you walk in. I've never had to wait long for service and I always left happy!
Been looking for a place to get my nails did since my last disappointment and found this place on Yelp. Once again, Yelp came through for me! Got shellac manicure and regular pedi - love it, one week later and I don't have one chipped nail. Since I live in the area now, this will definitely be my regular shop. Super duper excited. Btw, this is the first place that I loved since my move to Houston months ago! Finally.... :)
I have been going to this salon for about 9 months. Anna is amazing. She always fits me in her schedule. She is creative, patient, and fun! They have an awesome new age pedicures that are $60, but are totally worth it. My favorite is the jelly pedicure. It's not something you have todo all the time. I do it every 3 months. This salon is very clean. They strive for great customer service. They also do other services including: waxing, facials, massages, eye lashes, and more. I would consider myself a regular customer who has been to this salon about 16 times. I have never been unsatisfied. Keep it up!
This is the second time I come to this place because it's close to my job. I came on pre-Valentine's Day meaning it was extremely busy!!! Even though it was busy Anna made sure to take care of everyone and did a fabulous job with my nails!! The color I chose was a tad lighter than I expected and she had the right amount of coats so I could be happy with the color. I would recommend this place and definitely coming back. Covid measures: Must use hand sanitizer upon entering the shop. Very good! You must wear a mask to receive service. They have a barrier between you and the nail tech. The nail tech wears a mask and gloves. You are spaced out 6 feet apart. I have been here before and wasn't happy with my service. I came here to just pamper myself real quick. I decided to give them another chance. I am so glad I did. I had a really relaxing experience. I got a deluxe pedicure and a regular manicure. No gel or acrylics. The deluxe pedicure was $40 and it included trim, cuticle renewal ( I don't know what else to call it, lol), hot stone massage, paraffin wax dip, hot towel rap, clay mask, and color. The manicure was $15 dollars and included trim, cuticle trim, hand and arm massafe, lotion application and color. I'm happy with my service. Staff were very nice and pleasant. I'm one loyal customer, but these ladies who work here make it so easy! We are now on a first name basis and know about each other's families, this lace will always make you feel welcomed along with a well done, clean, and beautiful pedi mani or full set, I've had them all! Ask for Anna! read more

I've been a customer forever, I've never been to any other nail salon besides this one. I always get a full set and they always satisfy my nail needs which is amazing, the old lady is the best one. read more
