Great place! She listens to what you want and you get exactly that. The place is charming and this is the only place I will go.

Kyongi is amazing! Best haircut and color lady in the business. She really values me as a customer! She also is the best for conversation and advice! Thanks kyongi! read more

I visited Nabi a few weeks ago for a quick wash and style and Maria gave me exactly what I wanted! She was very sweet and was able to give me the look I wanted for a great price. Maria is the only hair stylist who I've been able to show a picture to and she got the style right on the first try! I plan to visit her again this week. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great style. She also has me considering color for the first time in my adult life. read more

Kyongi gave me the best haircut I've had in about 10 years. I'll definitely make an appointment with her again. I would probably drive 40 minutes for a haircut like this. + She wasn't afraid to give me a significant haircut -- usually when I tell someone I want a lot taken off, they are so concerned I won't like it that they don't take off nearly as much as I ask for. + She didn't make me feel weird about my gray hairs (I like them) or my eyebrows (they've been natural and untrimmed for 35 years, that's not going to change at this point). Highly recommend. read more

Studio Nabi - Great haircut - Hair Salons Near Me - Puyallup, Washington

A few weeks back my high school daughter's very long, straight, virgin hair was jokingly cut up to her ear on the side by a boy in her class. She, of course, was very upset. After asking around for someone kind, patient, and good at what they do I was referred to Kyongi to see about fixing my daughter's hair for her. It was my first time in their salon but Kyongi was quick to help and listen to me. She got my daughter scheduled for the next day to see what they could do. Kyongi took her time to make sure both my daughter and I would be happy with the results. My daughter came out of the salon feeling beautiful again and refreshed. We appreciate the time she took with us to do a great job. We will be back again for sure. read more

Studio Nabi is a cute little salon. Kyongi is very friendly and very professional. I came in with long black hair and wanted short blonde hair. Kyongi kept it real with me and told me that there were going to be a few visits we'd have to get through to get my hair where I wanted it. Her room is very clean and organized. I was very pleased with all my visits and plan to go back very soon to do some more work on my hair. read more

Kyongi is amazing. My before hair was, to say the least, a nightmare. She consulted with me, asked me what I wanted, and delivered, times a 1000! I told her I'm not great at styling and told her what I wanted, so she walked me through it step by step, using a mirror to explain. The salon was spotless, and the entire staff could not have been nicer. I will definitely become a regular, as will my daughter. My daughter had her hair cut and styled for her 9th grade dance. She looked and felt amazing. Don't hesitate to make an appointment. You will not be disappointed!! read more

Nabi was such a fun experience. To start off the salon is extremely CUTE. So chic and modern! The stylists and receptionist were absolutely sweet and gorgeous! To finish with my opinion of my hair. Studio Nabi - Short blunt cut. Done by the Owner who is amazing!!! - Hair Salons Near Me - Puyallup, Washington

The only reason I went here was because I got Yelp cash back but I wish I hadn't. The hairdresser was really unfriendly and awkward. When I left my hair looked exactly the same. Total waste of money. If you do go, make sure you get an appointment with Kyongi - she was doing a girl next to me and seemed to know what she was doing waaaayyyyy more than my person did. read more

I love my hair so much!! I have been feeling like getting bangs forever but sleeping on it just to make sure that it was what I really wanted. The day I decided to do it was the same day I messaged the studio on here and she squeezed me in later that day! My bangs look amazing, and the way she cut my hair really thinned out how thick and heavy it was on my neck. I'm so very thankful for this experience!! The haircut took no time at all, looked fabulous, and was very well priced! I love love love it here so much!! read more

I don't always just go somewhere to get my hair cut without a recommendation from a friend, but I am sooooo glad I did. Kyongi gave me the exact hair cut I wanted and needed, and I am SO happy with it we talked about hair goals and she made me feel super comfortable, which doesn't always happen when someone new does your hair. If you are looking for someone new and are on the fence - go for it because you won't be disappointed! read more

Kyongi did an absolutely amazing job on my hair. From the cut to the tips on how to keep it healthy to the music jams playing in the background the whole time. She is amazing and I'm glad she still had the time for me after a busy day. Today was my lucky day...Kyongi was able to squeeze me in to her already booked schedule. I didn't mention that I wanted a balayage, which usually takes longer than a regular color, but she still worked with me on a very short notice. Even on a tight schedule she took her time & did a fantastic job! She got rid of all my dead ends and made my thick crazy hair feel light as a feather. I loved how friendly her and her staff were. The salon was very well kept and the ladies did a very good job putting up their Christmas decorations while I was there. I definitely will be back for another session! read more

Went in to get my head and beard shaved. The place was clean and beautiful... I think I found my new salon...

Kyongi did an amazing job. I love the way my hair looks and can't wait to go back and get color done! Salon is beautiful inside and everyone is friendly! My daughter goes in for her hair cut in a few days. This is my new salon! read more

UPDATE: After reading my previous review, the owner of the salon contacted me within an hour to find out what she could do to improve my experience. As I really liked the salon and everyone I interacted with, I agreed to come in for a color correction and cut, on the house. I decided to bring my daughter with me to get her hair cut, too. I couldn't be happier! The owner corrected my hair and it looks great! My daughter was nervous about getting water in her eyes so her stylist and the esthetician talked her through it and chatted with her the whole time. Everyone was very patient and fun and my kiddo came away happy with a great haircut! Lastly, although on the pricey side, my microdermabrasion facial was great!! I will definitely be a repeat customer and bring my daughter whenever she needs a cut! read more

I made the drive from Burien all the way to Puyallup but it was totally worth it! Kyongi was literally the sweetest, most patient stylist to work on my hair I came in with all over Asian bleached blonde hair and wanted to chop it to a bob as well as color it back to brown with some highlighted pieces in the front. She talked with me through the process until we were both on the same page and answered any questions I had. She was very personable and was willing to explain to me how...I guess "hair", works since I am in beauty school and had tons of questions. At the end we traded tips and tricks and it was so awesome to be able to have that conversation with her. She knows what she's doing and I would recommend anybody to come and get their hair done by Kyongi! read more

Studio Nabi - I love my hair cut! Will be going back soon for another toning session since my stubborn blonde hair didn't completely eat all of the color. - Hair Salons Near Me - Puyallup, Washington

I just went to Nabi Salon and Spa, today, to get a hair trim and adventurously requested bangs. Beth did an amazing job cleaning up the wild ends of my hair and crafted some beautiful fringes that help frame my face. I expressed to her that I struggle with a very round/square-shaped face and when I pull my hair back, my temples and cheeks distract from the rest of my facial features. Not only did she listen to my specific requests, but she stayed incredibly patient with me as I asked for more and more adjustments to my bangs. After my hair was perfected, she offered to apply some complimentary lip and cheek color from their proprietary line of cosmetics. Kyongi also made herself available to really spend some quality time consulting me on her microblading process and aftercare before I made the decision to schedule a future appointment! Thank you, again, ladies! read more

I wanted to support local small business while treating my wife to a little pampering, so I decided to give her a gift certificate for Christmas. When discussing pricing of various services available, the gal at the front desk quoted me $70 for an all-over color and $45 for a cut and style. I haggled and was assured that my wife could present her $100 gift certificate for both a cut and style AND the all-over color. The gal at the front desk even went so far as to enter my wife's information into their system. I assumed details of my haggling would have been relevant and, therefore, entered into said system. Unfortunately, when I asked my wife how her visit to the salon went, she told me that the folks there gave her a lot of double speak to justify why the $100 gift certificate would cover only the all-over color. To make matters worse, the color was not at all what was expected . . . to put it kindly. This place is a dumpster fire of incompetence and dishonesty! Avoid at all costs! read more

Found this place on Groupon and made an appointment for 6pm. Received a call from them at 3:45pm stating they had a cancellation and asked if I could make it earlier like 5:15. I told the girl I would try to make it and get there as soon as I could after work battling traffic to get there asap. I drove for an hour and 45 mins only to find out that the girl had left. I questioned why someone didn't call me to let me know and the receptionist lied and said she did and had the audacity to ask if I wanted to reschedule. Forget this place your time obviously means nothing to them. There's plenty of other options out there. I don't know how they're still in business! read more

I went for my appointment on Saturday to find the salon gone with no notice. I bought a facial package and unable to use it. I've left messages and no reply back. I contacted the building leasing company and they confirmed Kyongi (owner) closed the salon but couldn't offer any assistance with how to contact her. I thought it was pretty crappy the salon would be closed without contacting the clients and at least refunding their money! read more
