It's about them picking the smallest girls who can do the most acrobatic tricks to gain more points in competition. Unless you're a parent who wants to do favors for the studio your child will not be given the opportunity to shine. This studio is not a studio that has all dancers best interest just those parents that does favors for the studio. So be warned. Unless your child has been a circus acrobat in the circus I do not recommend this studio. Also the studio is worn down with a broken vending machine rude front staff. Struggling to survive and sticking it to the parents to stay in business and charging extra for costumes to pocket the money don't get me started on rhinestone fee that you could buy a bag for ten dollars and get charged for $30. Teachers pick and choose who they work with during class time. I suggest you watch! Half of the older classes are not being recorrected or showed the proper technique. Only who the teacher sees fit. The owner tries to act like a godly woman, but is a wolf in sheep's clothing. If you sit back and observe you will see my point. Heaven forbid you have a suggestion to help all the dancers shine. U will be met with a passive aggressive behavior and condescending attitude, and never question any choreography even if your child is uncomfortable doing it.

Teacher pick n chooses the tiniest girls to teach . The dance team is ridiculous now. It use to be the child was on a specific team not anymore . They are placed on the teacher team due to their size and trick ability . The owner has a big ego beware if you voice your opinion to help the studio grow your child is kicked off the team and out of the studio. My child had been dancing since she was three she took classes 5 days a week every class that was available has a passion for dance and is committed talented determined and attended every competition and event . Is the sweetest child you could meet and because the owner was told that my child did not like the dance she choreographed that it was rude after dancing there for 7 years she was kicked off the team and out of the studio . The studio is a clic. Like in high school do favors for the studio and their child gets put front n center . It's turned into political garbage , one hand washes the other so if that's the kind of studio you would like you and your child to be involved with. That would be the place for you , otherwise find a honest studio that allow each child to have the opportunity to shine

My little niece did so well in her play. The acting teacher Ms Sam was very friendly & accommodating, and my niece looked forward to every practice. The dance lessons were okay and the facility is clean and in a nice shopping center. What turned me off to the studio though is the show and how it was run. First off the Stage manager at the Merry and Bright show was very rude. I got reprimanded and talked to in an unprofessional tone several times while volunteering back stage. Backstage was chaos and volunteers were given no direction besides "keep these children quiet". The dress rehearsal went on for a very long amount of time. My child was in the 8th act out of 29 acts and we were not done until 8pm (with a 6 start time). My child was up way past any acceptable hour for a 3 year old because the rehearsal lasted so long. Also because of the chaotic nature back stage I was fearful that my child might slip away and no one would notice so I stayed backstage even when I wasn't volunteering because I felt they didn't have a good eye on the kids especially the young ones. Lastly the other kinder-theater classes (same age and skill level) were much more prepared for their performance. I thought the teachers would be with the kids or perhaps run them through their dance moves a few times before performance. But this was not the case. My child's teacher was in several acts before and after the little kinders preformed so she wasn't there with them at all. This was extremely poor planning on the part of the studio to put all of her dances before and after her classes dance. Of course all the littles froze on stage because they are three and they played the wrong music. I got a stern talking to on two occasions for miming the dance moves to them when they got scared and froze. I will be canceling our membership and will have my daughter go to a new studio.

This studio is a mess of disorganization and unprofessionalism. On multiple occasions, classes have…read morestarted late or been completely canceled, often without advance notice to parents. Children have been left sitting in the lobby for the entire class hour with no communication whatsoever. And no, this wasn't a one-time fluke--it's happened more than once in just a few months. Similarly, instructors find it acceptable to gossip with the children about other instructors, management, and parents who have left and returned to the studio. Apparently, it's considered disloyal to leave one studio, try out another, and then return. Still, they will gladly take your money and talk unfavorable behind your back to everyone, including the other minor students. When I approached the front desk, hoping for clarity on the recurring late and nonexistent class with one particular instructor (and maybe even a solution), I was met with a wall of excuses. Apparently, according to the desk staff, it's "common in the industry" for dance instructors to show up late or not at all. Attempts to de-escalate the tone of the front staff were futile, as they were in fighting mode from the start--a sign that this must be a constant defensive state due to ongoing operational issues. Another strategy - an attempt to escalate the issue or speak to the owner was blocked. I was refused contact info and told the owner couldn't be disturbed to come out of their office. Rather than acknowledging the issue or offering any kind of apology, the front desk doubled down with blame-shifting and illogical reasoning. My personal favorite was the suggestion that it's the child's responsibility to call their parent if class is cancelled (20 minutes after they are dropped off), because "many six-year-old students have phones these days." If that's your communications protocol, it might be time to rethink your business model. I was told refunds would not be issued (even though none had been requested), no attempt was made to rectify the situation, and no one took responsibility. There were simply more excuses piled on top of indifference and anger at being bothered by this disturbance, daring to have an adult conversation about an issue concerning a place where I take my child for education and care. To the owner: If you're reading this, please understand that you may have some excellent instructors - one which apparently left recently because of all the drama. But those instructors--and your studio's reputation--are being undermined by front desk staff who seem more invested in deflecting blame and stonewalling than in supporting your students or maintaining basic professionalism. Parents and kids notice. And they talk.

They didn't have the skills as other students had in the class because they both never done anything like this before but (Mr Burks I believe his name is) assured me as long as they had fun they'll catch up in no time to all the other students. Finding one with quality instruction and great owner/operators like this is REALLY a rare gem! 1) From the front desk to the dance floor with GREAT instructors, this place is PROPERLY staffed! 2) The facility is beautiful, functional, and equipped. Classes are fully separated, sound systems are great, and they keep the studios nice and COOL even in the summer for all the hours you'll be sweating it out while you learn. 3) Class format and teaching style is second to none to get you to your goals fast, and learn more progressively, to build competence and confidence. 4) If you need to change before or after work, there are even ample restrooms (which are very clean) for the volume of customers they have before and after class. There's even a professional scheduling/enrollment/payment system for classes. What's the alternative to this place? Big name chains, you KNOW who they are. Cramped JUMBO single-studio room with 2-5 classes happening in the same room, packed over crowded floors you can't even move around on treating you like you're cattle, different genres of music shooting out of cheap floor speakers from all directions of people learning different material concurrently in the same room, sweating it out in 90 degree rooms where they frequently claim the air conditioning is broken to keep their utilities/overhead low. You can't make this stuff up folks lol. I've been to 4 separate studios in the Inland Empire in the last 5 years besides this place, and I SWEAR all of these things have been re-concurring themes in our community. Some were chains, some were not. Arthur Murray was born in 1895 and so were some of these places, that's all I'm going to say lol.
