I went in to get it done a few days later and she talked me out of what I originally wanted. Once it was done I was left with a dark blonde/muddy grey-ish highlights rather than the all over light grey I wanted plus, the tones were uneven throughout my hair due to the fact that she used two different volumes on different parts of my hair. She reassured me that if I came back in about a week, she would reapply the toner and my color would be closer to what I wanted. I left the salon unhappy and upset. Two days later I washed my hair and almost every bit of the color washed out. As days went on, my hair began to turn brassy, gold, and even blended with my darker color. I asked what she could do to fix it and made it very clear I needed it bleached again, but she insisted on having to charge me again for bleaching it. I then spoke with another hairstylist who advised me that it wasn't bleached light enough to begin with for my desired color and that the stain would not turn out how I wanted. Unable to get to the salon, I text Chelsea about the issue. A WEEK later I received a reply. Still extremely unhappy with how it turned out and her willingness to correct it, I asked for a refund. I was then told she did not give refunds and I had a 7 day period for her to change anything. Had I known her policy beforehand, I would have been more persistent at the salon that it was nowhere near what I wanted. My advice is to stay away. And if you do venture to try this place out, please be 100% confident your stylist knows what you want and that she is confident in what she is doing. I'm now out $130.00, have extremely damaged, nasty brassy hair, and am having to pay for someone to fix the mistakes she made.

I was doing you a favor anyways coming in before I open" I asked weeks prior if 8am was an option, she said yes no problem. My main complaint as a business owner myself is the lack of professionalism. If you make a mistake...you apologize and own up to your mistake. You don't say, it is what it is, and mistakes happen with no apology to a new customer. I would never say that to a customer and be so rude. That says a lot about a person. I would prefer to give my business to someone else.

Also, she listens to you. If you only want an inch of dead ends cut off, and you should get three, she will recommend that you take off the three inches but won't just chop your hair off. (Which personally is always a huge scare for me - I want a hair stylist that will listen to my wants/needs). Highly professional, friendly, honest, and very well educated on her profession! You won't be disappointed. My daughter loves to visit Blake-Leigh for hair cuts as well. She is 4 years old, a little shy, but she LOVES Blake-Leigh. It makes hair cuts a breeze! No hair cut jitters. She did what no other stylist wanted to attempt due to me having SO MUCH hair and it being SO LONG. She achieved the color I wanted & CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE CUT? Not only did she fix what another stylist chopped (I had a mullet) but she left the length and I now have the MOST BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY CUT! I've been to a couple high end salons and paid a pretty penny and have never been this satisfied before, I am OBSESSED! On top of talent, she has the BEST personality & customer service.
