I called and spoke with a young man to get an appointment for my son on his day off with Ashley. He said on Wednesday she's available 10-7. I set it up for 2p.m. My son goes in said he's got an appointment at 2 with Ashley. Of course they said he don't. After an 1 hour and 15 min wait and not busy he finally gets to start his hair cut. I've been bringing my son here for a few years. Disappointed with them. I always make an appointment because Ashley is only one that can cut his hair rides. 2 Stars because my trip to Carrie's Cuts was quite mundane. I walked in a little after noon and signed in for the next available spot. I waited nearly fifteen minutes before being seated. Trying to make small talk was harder than flying a kite on a windless day, she was just not interested in chatting. Overall I am satisfied with my hair cut but I can't help but feel like something was lacking from today's visit. This is my second trip to Carrie's Cuts, the previous trip was very pleasant and I left feeling like I had fulfilled what I had set out to do. I may or may not return to Carrie's Cuts. read more

Don't go here if you want a color. My roots were pretty grown out (it had been almost 8 months) so I knew it would be difficult. Kristen did my hair. She was very nice and did well cutting my hair. At first glance after she took the foils out I was not thrilled with the color but could stand it for a while. When I got home I noticed it was yellow/orange-ish. Not only did that irritate me but I looked and she still didn't get all of the roots covered! I have now made an appointment elsewhere to fix this mistake. read more

Sorry folks, but if you need a hair cut or "trim" do not let Haley do you. I waited 15 minutes or so for the next available gal and unfortunately got Haley. I asked for a small "trim" on the sides and top and not to touch the back of my already styled short cut. I came out looking like she fell asleep cutting as I only had about an inch total of hair all around and she didn't even pay any attention to the way my hair grows! I was so embarrassed and mad that as I was walking out she said "no charge"!! Imagine. I had to wear my wig to my appt. later in the week and haven't left the house since. That was 2 weeks ago. That girl has no clue how to cut hair and should have her license pulled. read more

Over the past two years I've been a walk in and had appointments. Neither were satisfactory. I am moving on. Time management seems to be their issue and the business management is not up to par. As a walk in, they don't have enough/any stylists who are walk in only dedicated. If they have appointments, they take precedence and you are sitting and sitting waiting for an available stylist. I even called ahead and was told they could get me in, and in the meantime, two had gone home and once again I am waiting and waiting. Should have walked out. It is disappointing to see person after person walk on by you to a stylist and the walk ins are not a concern. I've had appointments with time management issues that required rescheduling or my cancelling. Not worth the hassle. read more

I never noticed the professionalism and attention to detail she puts in with each cut. Unfortunately, I had to move and can no longer see Carrie to cut and style my hair. I went for a simple haircut, and I took pictures that clearly showed the front, sides and back of the cut. My regular girl was not there, so I got Kim. I cannot believe what she did to me...I looked like a prisoner of war....I couldn't speak. I paid nearly 26 dollars for this and left. I got in my car and broke into tears....it's going to take 3 months for my hair to grow enough to be presentable in public!!! I never do this...but this time, I was so angry that I went back and got a refund!! Kim should have had to compensate 3 months damages for what she did to me!!! This was my very first time going to Carrie's Cuts and I absolutely love the place already. All of the girls were so nice. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Carrie. She did an amazing job. I am always very hesitant about salons because of the numerous times I have gone in for a simple trim and had the person cut off way too much or just do something I did not ask for. This is the worst place to get your hair cut if it is long. I had long hair and wanted about six inches cut, well they cut it but it looks like they used a weed Wacker on it. Instead of sectioning it and cutting it, they just cut it straight across. I have used 3 different "stylist" and all but 1 cut it that way. The owner straightened and then cut it straight across, dry. If you have long hair and want a good cut DO NOT go there. read more

I am so mad at this place!!! I had super long naturally curly hair and wanted a cut. So, they cut about 15 inches off. I don't even know the name of the hair cutter but I will find out when I go down there tomorrow. So, she's pulls out the dreaded THINNING Shears, I said NO, I do not want them used on my hair as I've had screwed up hair b4 from these. She went on and on of how my hair would be poufy on the bottom if she didn't and she always does it this way, so finally I said o.k. My hair looks like a RAT chewed on the ends, my ends should have looked like baby hair and brand new from all that I had cut off. They are supposed to be Paul Mitchell trained, well if they were then they would have known you NEVER use thinning shears on naturally curly hair. My hair is nothing but dried up frizz now. She took away the best part of my hair. I liked my full bulky curly hair, now its flat as hell and looks like HELL. I am so pissed I can't see straight. read more

The new changes have been for the worst in my opinion. The silly person in front is a joke dancing & singing and being very LOUD! Not funny but annoying.
