Fewer than three hours before the requested delivery time, I got an email saying they canceled my order. I called them to inquire why they canceled it last minute on a weekend when I cannot get any other flower delivery elsewhere arranged in time -- and especially since the funeral service was already underway. I was told the shop received so many delivery requests that my request "got missed." While they offered an apology and refunded the full amount, this caused great stress on me unnecessarily at a time when I and loved ones are grieving. Most businesses that made an error like this would go above and beyond to make it right -- including asking another flower shop to assist -- but Carolyn's made no such attempt and left me hanging, disappointed, and without any solution. Needless to say, I was never able to have memorial flowers sent given such short notice by Carolyn's. The appalling lack of customer service and empathy left a bad taste and this will not be a business I can support in the future.

The parking lot is small, but perfect because you're rarely there for over 20 minutes. You're greeted with a smile upon entry, and staff that are eager to serve. They've got bouquets in a fridge in the back of the store, that range from the $20's and up. Plenty of greenery, plants, pots, cards, and other small gifts to pair with your flowers. You can also call ahead and pay over the phone to place an order for pick up. I've also ordered other plants that they usually don't have in stock here, and they give me a call when the item arrives in store. Another thing I love is that every so often they seem to highlight a small business. I've purchased raw honey here a few times, and I love that they offer a space in their store to community. Today, I dropped off a large vas and they created a beautiful bouquet that is so wonderful, I don't know where I want to place it in my home because I want to see it at every turn.
