A good selection with friendly and helpful staff. Good prices easily street parking. An obvious choice for the personal touch for or from students in the nearby campuses.

My husband of very recently killed in a motorcycle accident. After an afternoon of grueling appointments to my surprise a bouquet of flowers on my steps. I take them inside and unwrap this beautiful bright sunny yellow bouquet of happiness and stay to cry because they are so exquisitely designed. Family from faraway sent them and they certainly made my day better‼‼

I looked on Yelp for a reputable florist in the Minneapolis area. Our daughter goes to school and lives on campus there. I wanted to send her a holiday centerpiece. The communication from this florist was excellent. They wanted to know where to leave the flowers and to make sure it would be in a safe place. My daughter absolutely loved the holiday sleigh centerpiece. She said it smells just like Christmas too. When she sent me the picture, it looked even better than what I had seen on their website! I would not hesitate to recommend Johnson Florist. I would use them again.

Recently used this florist twice in the span of two weeks to order flowers for family members since I'm out in California. Their online website is easy to navigate and have great descriptions and prices. I was really appreciative of the customer service for one of my orders that was unable to be delivered and allowing me to change the address. Highly recommend

two nail marks before we ever opened the package

We always purchase our flowers here so I told my son to go there for a corsage. He was paying and wanted to keep it simple. I suggested a rose bc it was nice and relatively sturdy (avoid lilys, etc.). I was shocked when he said he got a single flower wrist corsage for $29 ($32.xx with tax). I looked at the website and saw a 3 rose wrist corsage for $34.xx and was confused. When we arrived I mentioned the website offering and was told "I don't know anything about that. There might be different prices due to seasonal issues with flowers." Another staff brought out the box and when we saw the tiny, delicate thing, I realized the problem. Orchids are a lot more expensive than roses. My son didn't know what he was ordering! He just wanted one flower and this was what was suggested. We paid for it and left. At home I noticed a marred petal. Given its delicate nature, I was worried the flower was not going to survive the evening For the sake of the customer, I suggest the following - ask what the event is. How active might be the recipient? - suggest a sturdier flower, or at least explain the differences. had I known an orchid was on the list, I would have steered him in a different direction - If they are asking for one flower, offer a range of prices. My son is cost-sensitive but doesn't know enough to ask a lot of questions, trusting the process. - make sure the staff knows what is being presented on the website. It's all A. Johnson to us, but when the sales staff is unaware of the different channels and the offering, plus acts negatively when asked, it's a bit off-putting. Give the staff time to peruse the site so it's a unified experience for the consumer. I see this as a learning experience for my son and a lesson in the prices of different flowers. I'm going with 3 stars bc it could have been better, but my son bears some responsibility bc he didn't ask enough questions. Update: I changed it to 4 stars bc he said she wore the corsage the entire evening, so it seems to survive. Though she didn't partake in the mosh pit, which definitely helped.

My partner got me some beautiful flowers from here and the shop itself is super cute and put so much love into their beautiful bouquets, definitely recommend.

I last minute decided to surprise my mom with flowers today. I ordered them around 9 AM and was afraid that they may not get delivered before she got off work at 4 PM so I specifically requested for them to be delivered before 3 PM. To my surprise, it was well delivered around noon. My mom was super surprised as well and said the flowers were so beautiful! She even made a post on FB! Haha. I definitely recommend Johnson Florist for providing excellent and quick service and will be ordering from them again. Thanks so much for making our day beautiful!

Birthday bouquet they created just for my sister

This company is fantastic! I ordered a bouquet for my sister, told them what she likes, and they listened to me! Voila!!! Isn't it beautiful? And affordable. Thank you!!!

I don't know much about botany, horticulture or biology in general, but I do know two very…read moreimportant things about flowers: 1. They wield incredible power. A bouquet of flowers can transform me from average dude to people's hero. Women smile at me. Men envy me. Bad drivers start to cut me off but then reverently swerve out of my way, like nah, this dude's on his shit right now, respect. Whether you aim to congratulate, apologize, or venture into the all-powerful realm of NO REASON FLOWERS, a well-chosen bouquet can provide it all. Confidence. Immunity from blame. THE WORLD IS YOURS. 2. They are horrible to buy. I've ordered flowers online, picked through them at big-chain supermarkets and overpaid for them at fancy florists. Unless you know exactly what kind you're looking for, prepare for a world of overwhelming varieties and colors. What's classic in one book is cliché in another; what's trendy here is tacky there. What looked beautiful online is inexplicably unbloomed on arrival. And no matter what you choose and how much you budget, the price range and constant upselling leaves you feeling a little unsettled. And then there's Foxglove. Located on Grand near Brasa, at first glance, it appears to be a fairly-straightforward home goods store for the Pinterest crowd. Inside you'll find a tightly curated, impeccably displayed assortment of bottles, candles, and paper goods. Quaint, crisp items that you'd associate with words like "vintage," "craft" and "artisanal." Basically, stuff that I know nothing about, but that my girlfriend - and probably your girlfriend, mom, partner, friend with discerning taste, whatever - would probably love. (Here is where I segue into discussing the flower selection. People who actually know things about flowers will probably want to skip ahead.) But the real highlight is the NEXT LEVEL FLOWER GAME Y'ALL. Giant puffballs that look like clouds strung together with twine. Tiny, vibrantly colored petals with delicate sawtoothed edges in perfectly concentric circles. Dried clusters of flowers that look like Rubik's Cubes made of popcorn. Deep reds that arch and plummet down from the vase like the flower version of the Rolling Stone tongue logo. Big-ass grass. Sunflowers so huge that you'd think they were exposed to TGRI ooze before being stolen by a Foot Ninja for the Shredder to create Tokka and Rahzar. But that's the kicker: all the flowers are sourced locally, with zero chemicals. Look, I'm a dude who still occasionally finds my way into the Walmarts and Taco Bells of the world. But there's something nice about having someone do the work for you to insure that your hun's flowers are natural and local. The flowers are also seasonal, meaning the selection stays fresh -- in terms of liveliness, as well as in terms of new assortments, and also kind of in the way rap guys say it. Christine, the owner, is incredibly kind and patient. She's helped me with small bouquets of NO REASON FLOWERS as well as a bigger project involving delivery and creative oversight and design. She gets excited, I get excited and the recipient is always super excited. Service is always incredible - almost too good, like I want to pay more. But it's like mere cash wouldn't suffice. It'd need to be something more meaningful. More momentous. Like flowers. From Foxglove.

Dawn was one of the most understanding people I communicated with when it came to planning. She was always quick to respond, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about modern floral concepts. Dawn also worked with me within my vision instead of altering my plans to fit her ideas. She also gave practical advice when it came to making what I wanted work. My flowers were absolutely beautiful! There are plenty of florists that won't even consider working with you unless you are spending an arm and a leg. Dawn isn't that florist, although I would recommend her for any scale event. I had to cut back my original floral budget and she didn't treat me differently because of it. Much appreciated. Looking back on my wedding pictures, the flowers stand out and I have Apple Blossom Flowers to thank.

Meeting with Dawn was a real joy. We sat down with her in her St. Paul home business and talked…read morethrough exactly what we wanted for our wedding flowers. When we weren't sure or had questions, Dawn stepped in with excellent advice and photo examples -- her experience really shined through. Altogether she provided the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, tossing bouquet, ceremony floral decorations, reception centerpieces and other arrangements, boutonnieres, and corsages. All were as we expected and beautiful. We didn't actually see Dawn on the day-of, but someone was there to help put on the boutonnieres. Everything was delivered on time and was set up behind the scenes. Returning the vases she provided was a breeze, too. We had been working with a florist before Dawn, which wasn't a great experience. A lot of emailing back and forth without an offer to meet in person, even after asking if that would be easier. And they weren't very responsive to their emails. So when we switched over to Appleblossom, it was such a pleasant experience. Dawn was very timely with emails, everything was clear, and Dawn seemed very confident in her work, which made us feel confident in return. Thank you for helping shape our beautiful wedding!
