This is my second stellar review for Design'n Bloom in the past 2 months. I am happy this is my husband's favorite flower shop! This time around I got an amazing flower delivery for the International Women's Day. For those who do not know what it is, it is a holiday, widely celebrated in Eastern Europe, somewhat similar to Mothers' day, but celebrates all women and girls no matter what their age or family status. The holiday originated with the first feminist movement in America. It is customary for men to give flowers to the women in their lives, and the most traditional flowers are tulips, daffodils and mimosa. Well, there are plenty of tulips and daffodils everywhere in March, but I have not seen mimosa anywhere in Minnesota. How design in Bloom managed to get it for my husband is a mystery. I read the reviews of each available florist and was glad I picked Design n Bloom. I called and spoke to Gayle. She was in the middle of delivering flowers and asked if she can call me back. Within 5-10 minutes, I got a call from her. We discussed specifics. I also asked her to stay within my price range. And she did! I wanted the flowers sent on Monday which was a holiday. It was to ensure that the flowers will be there before the funeral service on Tuesday. But because the church was closed, Gayle said that the flowers will be there early Tuesday (before 9am). Gayle kept her word and delivered the flowers by 8:00am. She also kept her word that she would update me on her delivery and send me a picture of the arrangement. I cannot thank the owner enough for her amazing attention to detail and care for our recent flower delivery. My coworker was leaving the company within two weeks, and we wanted to give her a proper farewell, but our team spans across DC, NYC, UK, and MN, so we had to figure out a way to get a card signed by the entire team and get flowers delivered.... But who can do this in MN?! Design n Bloom can. That's who. I started calling local florists near the MN office (thanks to Yelp!) and I have to say, Design n Bloom offered the most competitive rate (delivery and flowers wise) plus the friendliest service. She even let us ship the card to her directly so that it can be delivered with the flowers. The plan was to get the flowers delivered before our last team meeting, but unfortunately the meeting was moved and we had to push up the delivery time by two hours. Logistically, this must have been such a nightmare, but Design n Bloom really pulled through and delivered in time for our last farewell. The flowers were beautiful and my coworker was in tears by the end of the day.
