Troy knocked it out of the park for my daughter's wedding! We received an estimate from other florists which gave me heart failure; I had used Design n Bloom for corporate orders and was always pleased so I decided to give them a shot. They were responsive and responsible. My daughter wanted nothing to do with planning the florals but had chose inspiration photos. I provided them to Troy/Gayle along with my desired budget. They promised an estimate within a week and had several clarifying questions during that time. From the beginning, they were communicative and accommodating! As promised, the estimate was delivered on time and my expectations regarding budget and options were set. I loved that Troy talked through concepts with me and talked about what COULD be done instead of what could not. The day of the wedding came and they far exceeded my expectations in every single way. From the set up to the quality of the flowers in the arrangements (they lasted a full week- even after the heat), it was all superb. My nephew's fiancé was going through some serious health issues, and I wanted to lift her spirits with a flower arrangement delivery. Given that I live outside Kansas City, and she lives in Burnsville, Minnesota, I went online to find a local florist. My Grandma lives in Prior Lake and I live in Sacramento so I was worried I wouldn't get that personable experience to get the best bouquet for her 70th birthday party that I was missing but it was so easy with Gayle! I simply picked a budget (factor in delivery fee separately) I special requested that roses be included in that budget because that was what my Grandpa always bought her and they were so good! I had a small order of light peach roses for home delivery but the recipient wound up in the hospital. Gayle was so understanding and patient about waiting for the recipient to be home. And before that, she called to get approval about the color of the roses because the first batch she got in weren't exactly what I wanted- but I approved them. Well, with a bit more time and without prompting, Gayle got in more roses in the exact color I wanted. Going the extra step, particularly on a small order, was very much appreciated. I called the shop in the early afternoon on a Friday to order "get well soon" flowers with a helium balloon & was hoping there was a way they could deliver it to my daughter that same afternoon. Not only did Gayle put together a beautiful arrangement, but she got it delivered before 5pm & sent me a text with a picture to confirm the delivery was made & let me see the flowers! So I'll be honest and say that I really don't know a whole lot about flowers. That being said, I called Gayle the other day and gave her my budget and the kinds of flowers my girlfriend likes. There was a blizzard coming that night and I asked to have them delivered by 11am the next day. I wasn't sure if they would get there on time because of the weather, but she delivered them promptly. I called Design n Bloom because it was close to where my girlfriend works. It was my girlfriend's birthday so I told Gayle what the occasion was and about how much I wanted to spend and she took it from there because I told her I know nothing about flowers.
