The eyebrow shaping was perfect for my face. Finally someone who doesn't overdo it! Quick and painless.

I had an amazing experience with Ursula at Studio Darc. She did brow lamination, tinting, and shaping for me, and her work is truly meticulous. She takes her time with every step to make sure your brows are absolutely perfect before you leave. My brows are naturally sparse and thin, and by the time she was done, they looked full, thick, and beautifully shaped - better than I imagined they could look. Her salon is gorgeous, and Ursula herself is sweet, charming, and truly a pleasure to be around. The whole experience felt relaxing, welcoming, and elevated. I highly recommend her and I will never go anywhere else. Why a gem! read more

Just a heads-up--due to high demand, spots fill up fast, so I suggest joining the waitlist early. read more

Obsessed with this place! I have seen Megan three times now for brow shaping/threading and I even took the leap and tried tinting which makes such a huge difference in complimenting the shape and making them really pop (in a good way). She is an absolute sweetheart and really talented. Highly recommend this studio! read more

Studio Darc - Waxing Near Me - Portland, Oregon

If you want the short version, just note that I drive 3 hours from out of town to get my brows done by Ursula. That sums it up. - She does both waxing and threading. I used to wax elsewhere for years, and always walked out with shiny pink skin and for days I would break out like a teenager where the wax had been. Ursula recommended threading for me and I was hesitant because I had done it before and thought it was imprecise. I am so glad I gave it another try! She is like a laser with that thread and gets every single hair, and my skin is perfectly fine with no irritation. - Ursula is a perfectionist with my brows as well as with her practices. Both she and her shop are meticulously clean and sanitary, which is SO important. This is not a place where you will spend ten dollars and ten minutes on a haphazard job. If you are looking for that, you have plenty of other options. I come here because there is no one else taking their craft to this level. Ursula has a passion for her work- not only brows, but skincare and health/beauty in general. I am always impressed by her knowledge when I ask for advice. I am so glad I was recommended to Ursula, she is a sweetheart! read more

What can I say that hasn't been previously mentioned... 1- This is the cutest studio I have ever seen. The decorating makes me even feel like a cool kid for being there. 2- Ursula is nicer than a golden retriever. She is always putting the attention on YOU! This girl is so sweet and charming. A real joy to be around. 3- The work she does is amazing! I do not even touch my brows myself anymore. I have handed them over to the brow genius. I even have myself booked out until June. I walk in feeling frumpy, and leave feeling fancy. Thank you for your hard work Ursula, can't wait to come back soon! xo read more

After an enjoyable afternoon at Studio D'arc, I realized I DO have eyebrows. And they are magnificent! All thanks to Ursula. Brows have always mystified me. I over-plucked in my youth and have completely abandoned them for the last few years so they would grow back. Ursula went to work and wow. Not only do they appear darker and fuller, but they have a beautiful shape. Plus they don't clash with my red hair! Ursula was welcoming, warm and funny. Her space is beautiful with simple yet elegant decor. I definitely recommend her! read more

This place is truly top-notch. I was having a hard time getting scheduled, but ever since they added another gal, the availability is wonderful! I saw Karly, and she was an absolute dream. Where to begin?? Her customer service skills were outstanding. My brows look fantastic. Her threading skill was perfect and the shape was excellent. I even tried a nostril wax for the first time and omg...I'm hooked for LIFE. You won't regret Studio D'arc ladies! (Or gents!) read more

I've been coming here for a little over a year now. My brow goddess is Megan. I seriously love the location, vibe, and set up to this place. Not only is it cool, the girls are amazing kind here. Megan is a brow life saver when i started coming to her my brows where in bad shape from someone over threading them. She has been able to get them to grow and have more of a natural arch to them. Idk what i would do without her. She's the best!! read more

After years of common mishaps at another wax spot I decided I needed to be put in brow rehab. I have always wanted thicker, fuller brows and for some reason I still leave most places over waxed, bright red, and bummed. Ursula was able to spend ample time with me asking questions, ensuring the tint was what I wanted and giving me a tutorial for penciling my brows in so I can regrow some over waxed spots. She even threaded instead of waxed so I didn't leave bright red and was able to get all the baby hairs. I'm very happy with the results and all of the care that was put into her services. If you're looking for an amazing brow job look no further! read more

Ursula is my brow wizard! I will never trust anyone else with my eyebrows again. I've had several different estheticians botch my brows over the years and Ursula shapes them perfectly every single time. The way that she can simply look at me and know precisely what to do to my brows to accentuate and enhance the shape of my face; It's pure magic! I simply cannot sing her praises enough, she truly is the BEST in her field and HANDS DOWN the most gifted in Portland. Unlike her old shop, her new one is very conveniently located and I don't have to pay to park, which is a HUGE bonus for me! 5 STARS, 2 THUMBS WAY UP! read more

Ursula is an absolute gem. I started seeing her about two years ago when I said enough was enough, and I knew I had to grow out my pencil thin eyebrows. She helped me through my brow rehab like no one else has in the past. Have you checked out her facebook or instagram yet? You know the photo of the really sparse, janky brows, that turn in to these beautiful, thick, gorgeous brows? Yea, thanks to her help, that's me (no, like actually, that picture is of my face). My brows used to be something I was so incredibly self conscious of, and now they are my most complimented feature. Ursula is precise, thorough, and consistent in her work - she does both threading and waxing, and is a master at her trade. You should be seeing her for your brow needs, like, yesterday. Book an appointment with her, and you won't regret it! read more

Just had my brows threaded for the first time and it was amazing! Megan is a brow wizard. I don't even know where to start. This girl is AMAZING. She is seriously a BROW GODDESS! I grew out my eyebrows for about 6 months just to come see her, and as long as I have eyebrows on my face, this girl will be the only one who ever touches them! She is extremely thorough, and a major perfectionist! She really takes the time to make them as symmetrical as possible, and the most perfect shape to fit your face. I literally drive down from Seattle to go see her, and will continue to do so! read more

Amazing brow tint and shape by a super sweet girl!! Location is really cute and she is incredibly clean. Book early cause she is busy but if you keep your appointments on rotation she will more than likely have what you want open. If you are blonde like me and pencil your eyebrows all the time to make them darker, I would highly suggest you try getting them tinted!! They look natural and she picks great colors for your skin tone! read more

Studio D'arc is gorgeous and Ursula is without a doubt the most talented brow artist in Portland. Her studio is conveniently located and a very cool part of Northwest Portland, where there is free street parking! She articulated her every move and decision on how to shape my brows and they came out perfectly! We planned out how to better my brows by growing them back in, in certain areas where other estheticians had screwed them up before. Her threading technique is perfection and fast! She also threaded my lip and did a gorgeous lash tint, all in preparation for my wedding. I felt so confident afterward and cannot wait to go back! I will be telling all my friends too...this place is the best there is. read more

First of all, getting your eyebrows done is a torturous and painful process, for me personally, but I don't really care to look like Eugene Levy, so I unfortunately need to get my eyebrows waxed. I don't know how she does it, but Ursula actually makes the whole process somewhat enjoyable. She makes me feel like I've known her my entire life and we always have great conversation, she knows how much I hate getting my brows done, so she makes it her mission to make it as painless as possible, and I can tell she tries her best to do so. With all that said the REAL reason I keep coming back, besides how awesome Ursula is, is the fact that she is an eye brow goddess. She knows what she's doing, she's like a Michelangelo of the brow world. I highly recommend attempting to book out an appointment with her, but good luck because she books up fast. read more

If you can get an appointment, DO IT. Your brows will thank you. I'm so glad I found Ursula! My brows haven't looked this good in a decade. Everything people have said about her environment/personality are true. I had to wait months for my first appointment and it was worth it. read more
