Repeat customer : I love the LOCATION, it's on river drive at the waterfront shop area - just across from the sports bar. Parking is easy and usually available just out front. I have only gotten the BROW THREADING SERVICE here but I walk away feeling like they do a wonderful job each time. Shape is really important to me when it comes to my brows and they do a great job of preserving and shaping rather than making my brows too thin ( which happens when getting them waxed from time to time). I never go without an APPOINTMENT lately but that being said, there has been a wait whether I make an appointment or not. They do get a lot of walk-in's. However for the service and convenience of the location I don't mind the 10-15 I've had to wait in the past. read more

Went to their salon 30 minutes after opening time and nobody was there, when I called the number they said they were busy and could be there in 20 minutes. The threading is worth it! Highly recommend!! I had a horrible eyebrow wax about a year ago and hadn't touched my eyebrows since. The shape was messed up (uneven, missing chunks). I thought fixing the shape meant getting very thin eyebrows. I came here and was talked into trying threading. They look amazing! The shape is perfect without being too thin. I went yesterday, for a last minute first time customer appointment for threading (first time in over 5 years) and lash lift (first time ever). The store front is cute and parking next door. I was nervous at first. She did have her kids there, and some younger clientele, but all regulars. It was a family atmosphere I liked. Threading: I haven't had my eyebrows touched by anyone but my tweezers in five years and i am lazy at that. She did a great job with little guidance, she re shaped and cleaned up. Lash lift and tint: This was my first time. Took maybe 45 min? She took her time prepping my eyes with the tape and rollers. About 12 min for both step 1 and step 2. She made sure I was comfortable. Please note that your eyes aren't meant to be closed and there may be a lil tingling burn, but my eyes weren't red or irritated after. I think they look great. I will review about how long the perm lasts when it falls. Only recommendation or word of advice is for her to play music or you to bring headphones. I have gone here several times to get my eyebrows threaded and loved it. They always pay great attention to detail. My brows look amazing when I leave. Last time I also got an eyelash lift and tint. I tried to give this place a honest try and sadly each time the service/ threading was worse. One time the employee threaded into my eyeball and kept poking me in the eye that I had to ask her to stop. The most recent time, the owner was there and while she started off okay, she was answering phone calls the entire time. To the point where she threaded one side more and completely made my eyebrows uneven. Do not waste your money. The girls at the mall do it WAY better. I was driving through Ambler one afternoon and happen to notice an eyebrow threading place that looked new. I normally get mine done in Willow Grove but this is closer. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was visiting an old friend. Indy greeted me warmly and offered me a seat right away. She did a full consultation, asked me questions about my current eyebrow shape and talked a little about what she recommends and what she's going to do once we agreed. She did a very thorough job and talked me through everything she did. She mentioned that she also does eye lash lifts, eyebrow tinting and other services. Price was a little more than what I normally paid at the other places I've been but the service, atmosphere and thoroughness make it worth every penny. She told me all about her shop and the store within. She supports other women-owned businesses and lets them set up to sell their products. There was a pop up for a clothing shop in the back. She invited me back later in the day as there was an Oscar event going on in Ambler. When I came back later in the day, she remembered me and introduced everyone to each other. I felt like I was in her house. I will absolutely be back and would absolutely recommend Indy's if you're looking for an eyebrow place. read more

Updated: Owner is ALWAYS late to agreed-upon appointment times. She also will cancel your online booked appointment if she feels like it. On top of that all, if you don't get the owner, you get the partner, who will screw your shape up for months. It took me two months for my shape to recover after I had to let her do my eyebrows because Indy was late to our appointment for the third time. Never returning. 0 regard for customer service. read more

I've never gotten my lashes lifted before but they were having a wonderful deal so I took a chance and made an appointment. Let me say, I loved the last lift and eyebrow threading! It was a pain to lay in the chair for that long (I get restless) but it was totally worth it. My lashes lasted a good month as the last week or two they've gone back to their normal shape . Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and was seen immediately! Coming from getting my brows threaded for years in LA, I found the threading to be incredibly thorough and excellent. The service was great. Prices are higher than you'd expect from a suburban threading studio, but it is well worth it for the quality of work. I called and personally talked to someone on the phone to book my eyebrow appointment, I drove after work all the way there after agreed on a 6:30 appointment when I got there the salon was closed, I then contacted the salon and they told me on the phone they thought I wasn't going to come and they'd turn back. 5 minutes waiting outside for them to turn back I get a message saying the staff could no make it and they'd give me 50% off of the next visit I then asked their hours and they told me they close at 5pm but on the door of the salon and online it says 7pm on Friday. Why agree to an appointment and assume I wouldn't make it without contacting me? I was there the time we agreed not a minute later. And why lie?! Don't book here..... read more
