Kevin Szymanski is the house engineer and has worked with lots of famous bands you know-from Foo Fighters, to Matchbox 20, to John Hiatt, to Queens of the Stone Age to Faith Hill. If you are recording in Austin, you need to check this place out. If you are not recording in Austin, you should re-think those plans and come to Austin to record. It's a cool music town, and 12th Street Sound also just happens to be about one mile from Franklin's BBQ, which Bon Appetit calls the best BBQ joint in the U.S.

The large room can be reserved for the day for just over $200. And this reservation goes past midnight into the morning if you need. It's BYOB, so, bring a cooler and drinks.
