I had a brief wait. As for the services I received? The color I ended up with just looked like I did an all over color and accidentally missed spots, rather than the multicolor look I was going for. It looked nothing even remotely like the inspo photos. And then she proceeded to butcher my hair when I had basically wanted some shaping/cleaning up and then styled it like I was 70. And there was dye all over my hairline and on my ears when I left. I was in such shock I couldn't even say anything. I paid and left. Immediately, I went somewhere else and they fixed the cut as best as they could and cleaned the dye off. They wanted to know who did my hair but I couldn't bring myself to tell them. But, why am I trying to protect someone who did a bad job? I've had better cuts from Great Clips. And I can do a better job my self with coloring my hair. Do I recommend this place? I had been to so many different stylist in indianapolis searching for more information on how to maintain a curly haired look, and was always disappointed with the same answer that there is nothing "special" to having curly hair. Turns out I was right when I visited Danielle she introduced me to Deva Curl, and took the time to teach me how to properly wash curls while not over doing it with products. She guided me toward a book all about the different curl types that walks you through how to wash, condition and style teaching me so many new things I didn't know I was doing wrong! For the first time I had a regular appointment and getting the hair cut I liked. Then I showed up for an appointment for Stephanie to tell me she had something come up and couldn't cut my hair. I was upset that I drove 30 minutes to get a cut only not to, but I understand emergencies happen. I go back to my old habit of getting a Great Clips cut, sorta like McDonald's French fries, maybe they are hot maybe they are cold. Vs a good cut to a bad cut. I call Stephanie set up an appointment for the next cut. Showed up to have Stephanie seemed surprised about my appointment, she realized she didn't have room for me so I left upset wondering why I waisted my time and just roll the dice with Great Clips. I did make up my mind that Stephanie didn't seem to care about the importance of time. My wife made an appointment to day with another stylist at Le Crazy Horse. At 130, I was thankful and showed up early only to find it did me no good. Which is on me, I waited until 140 for 130 appointment only to be told five more minutes. Normally I would wait but I had another appointment and knew I would be late so no hair cut. I'm an easy male cut, and believe it or not I rarely complain. I would love to find someone that cared about their work.

When I started going to Vista Belle Salon in 2019 I didn't love my hair. Chloe has *drastically*…read morechanged that. I've never been huge on hair change/color/maintenance lol but had made some poor choices in 2018 and my ends were *fried*. My poor choices took me from silky smooth hair to a mess of frizz. Chloe helped me get my hair to do a complete 180° in the year before Covid and it was in good shape. A few months ago I finally went back for some maintenance and my hair went from pretty great to over the top *amazing* with some of the products she encouraged me to try. The salon gives out big samples and that totally helped me get a solid idea of the products and fall in love with them over time vs a one time use. I honestly can't stop touching my hair which probably annoys everyone around me but it's just so sooooffft lol. I used to dread day 2 and 3 hair because it would be frizzy and unmanageable but now my hair just gets better and better. 100% recommend Vista Belle Salon to anyone. Oh. Went in for a pedicure, which was $30. I found that to be pretty reasonable, on par with what I…read morepaid for cheap Wal-Mart pedicures back in Illinois, and far below what I would pay at a salon or spa. The Good: They have a very nice, new massage chair. I found the pedicurist to be friendly and maintained conversation the whole time. They had a pretty good selection of OPI and China Glaze polishes, including some 'trendy' colors. She did a very good job getting rid of the cracked skin on my heels (gross, I know!) The Not So Good: The pedicure chair is pretty out in the open, meaning you are right next to a hair stylist and the waxing room, as well as an entrance. I was able to hear conversations from the waxing room while my feet soaked, not the most relaxing environment. There isn't anywhere to really sit and wait after the pedicure is finished, I felt pretty rushed to leave and ended up ruining the polish on one of my toes because it wasn't completely dry. She also left some smudges where polish had touched the skin. They weren't horrible, but not great either. The Bad: When she was removing my existing polish (or at some other point), my cuticle was damaged, leaving a cut. It's no fun getting a pretty pedicure, only to have to wear a bandage on my big toe to avoid anything getting into the cut! If I were to go back, I'd probably ask to not have my cuticles clipped, just to be on the safe side. As a side note, when I was getting my pedicure done, a customer came in who had her hair hacked by one of their newer stylists. I know this can happen anywhere and sometimes stylists have bad days, but it didn't make me feel comfortable going there to get my hair cut in the future. Although, she was coming back to get it fixed by another stylist, who she seemed to trust, so there must be some good stylists in the salon.
