I chatted with the…read morestylist prior to my appointment, sent photos of my current hair, sent the inspiration photos of the color I was looking for. The salon is okay, smallish and cozy. I had a brief wait. As for the services I received? The color I ended up with just looked like I did an all over color and accidentally missed spots, rather than the multicolor look I was going for. It looked nothing even remotely like the inspo photos. And then she proceeded to butcher my hair when I had basically wanted some shaping/cleaning up and then styled it like I was 70. And there was dye all over my hairline and on my ears when I left. I was in such shock I couldn't even say anything. I paid and left. Immediately, I went somewhere else and they fixed the cut as best as they could and cleaned the dye off. They wanted to know who did my hair but I couldn't bring myself to tell them. But, why am I trying to protect someone who did a bad job? I've had better cuts from Great Clips. And I can do a better job my self with coloring my hair. Do I recommend this place? No, absolutely not.

It doesn't matter what hair-brained idea (see what I did there??) I walk in with, Jennifer always makes it happen. I tell her I'm growing my hair out, she shapes my pixie up into a presentable shape until it's a sassy little bob. I tell her I want to chop it off, she makes sure I'm not having an existential crisis before giving me the perfectly edgy pixie yet again. She slays my color, even when I have no idea what I want. This may or may not be a fair review. Started out about four months ago. Got a great haircut from a…read morewoman named Stephanie. I got a good haircut for about three times. For the first time I had a regular appointment and getting the hair cut I liked. Then I showed up for an appointment for Stephanie to tell me she had something come up and couldn't cut my hair. I was upset that I drove 30 minutes to get a cut only not to, but I understand emergencies happen. I go back to my old habit of getting a Great Clips cut, sorta like McDonald's French fries, maybe they are hot maybe they are cold. Vs a good cut to a bad cut. I call Stephanie set up an appointment for the next cut. Showed up to have Stephanie seemed surprised about my appointment, she realized she didn't have room for me so I left upset wondering why I waisted my time and just roll the dice with Great Clips. I did make up my mind that Stephanie didn't seem to care about the importance of time. My wife made an appointment to day with another stylist at Le Crazy Horse. At 130, I was thankful and showed up early only to find it did me no good. Which is on me, I waited until 140 for 130 appointment only to be told five more minutes. Normally I would wait but I had another appointment and knew I would be late so no hair cut. I'm an easy male cut, and believe it or not I rarely complain. I would love to find someone that cared about their work.

They scheduled me with one person then when I got there gave me a young girl by a completely different name and I told them when I called that I didn't want a stylist that was FRESH out of beauty school. I gave her a picture and told her EXACTLY what I wanted. She BUTCHERED my hair & I will NEVER go back. It wasn't worth it. The girl kept looking confused, she didn't know how to texturize & she had no idea what she was doing. Her name was Rez (however you spell it) and that's who I told them I didn't want. They knew she wasn't experienced enough for what I asked and the manager knew it but she went against my wishes COMPLETELY. I hated my hair and I actually showed her how to tezturize my hair. She didn't know how to use the texturizing shears. I did tip her bc I know she was scared and probably 2nd guessing herself but they shouldn't be giving clients to people who have no idea what they're doing. My looks are important to me and I haven't left the house in days. I feel like an idiot. Horrible experience and felt judged the whole time. Super snooty & boogie. I will not recommend them to ANYONE.

The Good: They have a very nice, new massage chair. I found the pedicurist to be friendly and maintained conversation the whole time. They had a pretty good selection of OPI and China Glaze polishes, including some 'trendy' colors. She did a very good job getting rid of the cracked skin on my heels (gross, I know!) The Not So Good: The pedicure chair is pretty out in the open, meaning you are right next to a hair stylist and the waxing room, as well as an entrance. I was able to hear conversations from the waxing room while my feet soaked, not the most relaxing environment. There isn't anywhere to really sit and wait after the pedicure is finished, I felt pretty rushed to leave and ended up ruining the polish on one of my toes because it wasn't completely dry. She also left some smudges where polish had touched the skin. They weren't horrible, but not great either. The Bad: When she was removing my existing polish (or at some other point), my cuticle was damaged, leaving a cut. It's no fun getting a pretty pedicure, only to have to wear a bandage on my big toe to avoid anything getting into the cut! If I were to go back, I'd probably ask to not have my cuticles clipped, just to be on the safe side. As a side note, when I was getting my pedicure done, a customer came in who had her hair hacked by one of their newer stylists. I know this can happen anywhere and sometimes stylists have bad days, but it didn't make me feel comfortable going there to get my hair cut in the future. Although, she was coming back to get it fixed by another stylist, who she seemed to trust, so there must be some good stylists in the salon.

My poor mom...she got a cut at the same time by the same person and WOW! There's nothing I can do for her until it grows out. Talk about a hack job. Will never go there again! EVER!
