I've been trying to make it to the $10 piercing special for a while, but something always came up -- maybe it was my intuition. When I finally made it in, the host at the door was super friendly, and so was my piercer, Heather. That said, I got the sense that she may still be learning. I had to guide her on where my belly piercing should go, which raised some concerns. I've had a belly piercing before, plus I've had two kids -- so my anatomy has changed. My previous piercing was lower, but after losing weight and toning up, I knew a higher placement was necessary. If I hadn't spoken up, the piercing would've been placed too low again. I really appreciated that Heather was kind and willing to listen, but it did leave me questioning if the final placement was truly ideal. I also made sure to ask what kind of jewelry would be used. I was told it was surgical steel, but based on how my body reacted, I seriously doubt that. I ended up going to a more reputable (but pricey) piercing shop for a second opinion. They confirmed the jewelry wasn't surgical steel and that it was also the wrong size for my body type. I'm glad I checked before things got worse or my body rejected it completely. Overall, this place might be okay for a quick, simple piercing like a nose ring. But if your anatomy is unique or you're looking for long-term quality, I'd suggest going elsewhere -- especially for something like a navel piercing. read more

Studio 219 is one of the worst piercings and tattoos places I have ever been to and that truly says a lot I called the front desk about piercings and ole dude that answers the door told me to look at the website for the price but failed to information that one of the piercings were not there and to come back tomorrow so I wasted an whole 30 dollars uber ride to go to studio 219 and when I got there he then wanted to inform that the piercer that do the snake eyes was not there and wanted to make my little sister wait outside by her self while I got a conch piecing For one that very dangerous Two they don't even start right away no telling how long she was going to have to wait And third they have a whole couch area but no one can wait in there that truly fucking stupid they truly are truly one of the worst piercings and tattoos places yeah that have good deals but they are rude and not worth anyone spending there money on they not welcoming at all I would not recommend me at all experience 0 out 10 especially that dude that opens the door and answers the phone I'm not even the type to make reviews like this but they are ridiculous at this shop I'm not sure if they have different locations but if so this is the worst location read more

The staff is very friendly. My piercer was very kind even though I was crying bc I was scared of needles. I got 3 piercings done on the same day here. I don't think they're maybe the most experienced as they thought an orbital was a conch with a ring (it isn't). They also tell you to use witch hazel to clean. All of my earrings from here healed the same as my earrings done from other parlors. The waiting area is small which isn't great. If you do their special they're very reasonably priced. My mom called asking if they would pierce my nostril and industrial, i am 14 years old, the lady at the front desk said okay and we included we had everything, my mom's drivers license, my school id and birth certificate. Waited in the car for about 40 minutes for my turn up, before the wait the man at the front said that they do not allow exotic or adult piercings on a 14 year old or minors in general, so I can only get my nose pierced. We said thats okay after the 40 minute wait we get in there and put all of our business in the site they told us to do if you were to have a minor pierced. It was my time to get pierced and the piercer said I could not get my nose pierced because of my age since it's apart of their policy after we had got told it was okay for me to get pierced. read more

We didn't even make it inside the establishment. My 2 sisters, mother and I came from Los Angeles to Atlanta for a few days and wanted to get some piercings while we were in town. I found this place on Tik Tok and Instagram and thought it would be a great place to go. When we arrived June 25th on Wednesday some time in the afternoon, there were 2 men outside. One seemed to have pretty good energy. I think he came out to move his car but he talked and laughed with us a bit, I assume he works there as piercer or tattoo artist. He has locs I think. BUT THE GUY WORKING THE DOOR! Idk he seemed to take his job way too seriously. I understand businesses have rules and policies but he would not allow my 65 year old mother to come in with the 3 of us unless she was getting serviced, he wouldn't even ask the owner to see if it was ok. Like we're from California looking to spend money, my mom is older, it's 90+ degrees outside. I feel like an exception could have been made. And we're nice ppl, we're trying to talk and joke with him and ask him how to fill out the waitlist form and he was just completely unamused by us, no customer service, condescending, and rude. He was acting like top flight doorman of the world. Like Jesus himself gave him the golden opportunity to patrol doors. As someone who isn't very experienced with tattoos I came in optimistic in getting a new one for the first time in a year in remembrance of my boyfriend that tragically passed recently ! I came in wanting a small tattoo possibly dime sized in red color on my face . Although I had a font in mind i was immediately notified that it wouldn't work and I was fine with that. Being that the option I had in mine wouldn't work I professionally think the artist would be able to steer me to something similar as customer service is the whole of this business. The replacement fonts he threw together resembled nothing like what I had originally provided and didn't seem to put any heart into assisting into a better more suitable option before abruptly telling me to come back "when I find what works better" !! This place is terrible. Reeks of weed. No parking. And more importantly the piercer managed to completely botch both a navel piercing and an industrial piercing. The navel piercing was put above my belly button and the industrial jewelry was entirely too long and it was pierced in the wrong spot on my ear. When I raised my concerns to the piercer she said "It looks fine" and would not redo it even though at that point I said I was willing to pay for it. I ended up going to kolo in little 5 points and both piercers there said they have never seen such a terrible job. Do not go here. This place looks hella sketch but you can't complain with the $10 piercing deal on Tuesdays and Saturdays. A friend peer pressured me to get earrings that day and in the end my wallet convinced my mind it was the right move. Pulling up the parking lot is tiny, only like 10 spots total (getting out was a pain but that's another story). To get in, my friend had to call the parlor for them to open the door all exclusive like a club. Walk up a narrow flight of stairs and you enter the small waiting area. It's $10 for a wide range of piercings (literally like a buffet choose-your-own) that all come standard with a stainless steel bar or half ring (not sure the term but what bulls have). They make you sign your life away on waiver forms then call you in for the actual piercing. The piercing lady was professional and calmed my nerves down pretty well. She took care to be sterile and clean, drew dots of where my earrings would be (and proceeded to erase/correct them which tbh scared me a lot). Looking back on it a week later, it was a pretty decent experience and I'd be fine with going back for more piercings...I mean to refer friend. read more

Got two piercings back in February. Zaria did both. There were SEVERAL sanitation red flags. I can't remember if my previous people used a permanent marker before, but she marked me with a sharpie. I have multiple piercings. Never had a piercer tell me to use antibiotic soap and witch hazel. As a mater of fact, my previous piercers and multiple sources online advise against that bc it actually prevents the piercing from healing. You cannot treat a piercing as you would a scratch or scrape...usually you use sea salt and warm water or a piercing cleaning solution. But alas, I listened. Both piercings have been infected twice now with a puss filled bump near the entry site. I have a new respect for shops that verify the sanitation in front of you bc Zari did not. She was rude, no hello, not even a smile, she didn't want to be there, and could care less if my piercing was crooked or not...which it is . Multiple red flags I wish I would have paid more attention to. She did a HORRIBLE job and you should go elsewhere or make sure she's not the one sticking a needle in you. I went on the day they had 10 dollar piercings. I called BEFOREHAND to see if we could make reservations. They said no which was perfectly okay. This was about 30 minutes before I went. I get there at 3:38 and went to the door. An employee who is sitting smoking outside near the door watches my friend and I try to open the door and then says "The piercings start back at 6:00pm". I ask him why wasn't this said when we were just on the phone and he walks away and ignores me. This is the most unprofessional piercing establishment I've even been to. This place is busy every Saturday but they choose to not take reservations and only accept walk ins. WHY?? Do not waste your Saturday or Tuesday(because they do the special on this day as well) because literally that's what you will be doing - wasting your time. read more

Their care instructions do differ from other shops that I have been to, but I do believe it's best an individual does their research on what suits them for aftercare. I was an absolute nervous wreck but Corey stayed cool and calm and did exactly what I was hoping for. I hadn't gotten a tattoo before but I really wanted something special- a copy of something my mother wrote in her handwriting. I know I was hard to work with because my nerves made me bad at answering simple questions but he didn't mind and he helped ease my nerves and when it was done I cried a bit because it looked exactly like my mom had written it. Got a tattoo here at least a year ago and it keloid . Mind you I have a full back of tattoos and my whole right sleeve done. When it started healing funny the owner who did the tattoo said it was normal to heal the way it was healing . I insured him I have plenty of tattoos and this has NEVER happened. When I kept brining it up he started ignoring me and it was at that point I knew I was on my own in this situation. I popped in with no appointment to get my nose pierced today and I was pleasantly surprised about how great the experience was. Everyone who says the building is sketchy isn't completely wrong, it does need better lighting inside, maybe some revamped decor, and definitely has a strong cigarette smell. Also be advised that if you do visit this location, the shop is upstairs and I didn't see an elevator so it may be hard or impossible to get to for anyone with mobility issues. The art hanging inside is beautifully done but is explicit in nature so I would not recommend bringing children or anyone "conservative" in art taste if you're concerned about that. Beyond this (which is mostly surface level stuff), the piercing area was clean and had no smell. Heather did my piercing and was fantastic. Everything was clean, sanitary, and Heather knew exactly what she was doing. It was extremely quick and Heather explained everything both before and during the process. I paid $15 ($10 for basic nose piercing plus $5 to get a hoop) so the value was fantastic. I would definitely return! read more

I went a few months back to get my 3rd lobe piercing. The lady was nice. Made a dot and handed me a small mirror for approval. She was very sterile and careful. Did a good job of explaining and let me ask questions. It was a decent experience especially for the price. 2 weeks ago I went and got 2 more lobe piercings. This was a different lady. She marked my ears with sharpie. Loud music was playing and I didn't even get to ask questions. When I asked for a mirror, she nudged her head towards the full body mirror on the wall. I've gotten two piercing from Studio 219 Ink on two separate occasions and both times the experience was so delightful !! The most important part for me when looking for a location to get my piercing done was to make sure it was somewhere cleanly and where I felt safe. Studio 219 checked both of those boxes. Both of the women who did my piercings were super gentle, I was super nervous both times and the ladies were both patient and informative about the whole process and the healing process. I give 0 starts. Went to get a sternum piercing, specifically a dermal. Heather was able to make the hole but not place the jewelry. The reason, according to her, "your skin won't stretch". It was my first time visiting this studio and I was immediately turned off, the gentleman at the front desk was completely unprofessional, he had a slight attitude when speaking to me about my service. Fast forward I am getting my service performed the piercer Energy was amazing however I wish she could've been a little bit more knowledgeable about my repiercing , She ended up giving me bars that were too short and cause swelling I ended up having to go to another piercing shop to get the correct size bar for my piercings. read more

I decided to try this place after hearing they did great tattoos from a few people. A friend of mine went with me. I ended up getting two tattoos, collar bone and ankle. She got nipple piercing and shoulder tattoo. The tattoo artist are friendly and helpful. My artist edited a picture we found down to what I wanted. They made us feel comfortable. I was forced to come here because no reputable shop in the city or surrounding counties will perform dermal anchors anymore and I had to get my anchor fixed. I asked Raven to properly sanitize my jewelry and she said she didn't need to because it's already in my body and it won't give me an infection. Bear in mind it's not fully in my body at this point, my dog scratched it out so it's been hanging on by a thread for over a week, and I'm not putting an unsantized object my pets have come into contact with back under my skin. So I pressed the issue and told her I'd feel a lot more comfortable if she ran it in the autoclave, something any reputable shop would do without question. She then said she can't put a dirty object in the autoclave, and I'd have to buy jewelry. I didn't really feel like arguing over how autoclaves work, their function, and how little sense it makes to feel more comfortable putting an unsantized object in my body than running it through a medical grade sanitizer so I agreed and she proceeded to re-sink my anchor. I'm like 85% sure it's either going to reject or become infected. Pretty sure she also grabbed the jewelry out of a full bag, after removing my original anchor, without changing her gloves which seems really iffy from a cross contamination perspective let's hope I don't get hep c read more
