What impressed me most was his attention to hair integrity. Instead of trying to push my hair too far in one session, he was very honest and set realistic expectations based on my previous color and the condition of my hair. I originally wanted a very creamy pale vanilla blonde. Jim explained how far we could safely go in one appointment without risking damage or breakage. I really appreciated that honesty, because protecting the health of my hair was clearly his priority. Even though we couldn't go all the way to my final goal in one session, he absolutely set me up for success. The result is a soft dimensional blonde that looks beautiful and natural, and interestingly my hair actually seems to look lighter and brighter as the days go by, especially when sunlight hits it. Jim clearly plans the process in stages. I will most likely return in a couple of months for baby highlights to brighten the crown and continue moving toward the creamy vanilla tone I ultimately want. The salon itself is also a great environment. Jim and his staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the health of their hair. Overall I'm extremely happy with the result and very grateful for Jim's skill and honesty.
