Prior to the wedding, Paul was so easy to talk to and he listened to everything that we wanted for our wedding. We met with him once, emailed several times, and spoke on the phone a few times before the wedding. He captured every detail of what we wanted. He made great suggestions and asked all the right questions. He set up outside for our ceremony and did a wonderful job. During the reception, Paul kept the night on track. He kept the energy and flow going the whole night in a subtle, classy way. It was perfect. I had several people comment to me during the reception that it was the best music that they had heard at a wedding. Once it was time for everyone to dance, our floor was packed the entire night. We had a great crowd and I knew people would dance but this was more than I expected. He was great to work with from beginning to end and I felt like we were in great hands the entire time. He did an absolutely flawless job at our wedding. To top it off, his rates are completely reasonable! Paul is more than a great dj. We had…read moreEric and I would never recommend him as our overall impression was that he was unprofessional and unprepared. The ONLY reason we had gone with them was because they were a preferred vendor through our venue and part of the package so the pricing was significantly less than if we had gone with the DJ I wanted. That being said we did so much work to outline what we wanted for our big day including spending hours putting songs onto the website planner sheet they provide and even requested a 1-on-1 meeting with the DJ. First of all, we said NO country and there was country music played through our dinner. We also had must play slow songs and a must play last dance of the night - he played none of them. The night before our wedding I got a phone from him asking about uplighting which he hadn't realized we wanted (this was requested from day 1 and confirmed in multiple emails) and then came up to us as we were lining up for our entrance to the reception to ask what we were dancing to for our first dance. I was so upset by this because not only was this information was on the planner sheet I submitted online but we had a custom track created by our dance studio mixing two songs together which I had forwarded via email over a month before our wedding which he had confirmed receipt of. The last straw was our ceremony - this we had requested which came with an additional $150 charge which we were fine with. What ended up happening was my cousin who is in a band and does weddings as a DJ as well ended up having to use all of his equipment that he happened to have with him and HE ran our ceremony NOT the DJ. All that being said at the end of the night when my mother asked how much she owed Eric said "$150 but could you do $200?". This in my opinion was beyond rude and inappropriate - my mother was taken aback by his comment and felt put on the spot to pay extra. The one positive I would say is the owner Paul Giroux was very responsive to my complaints and apologetic. He also gave us a fair refund of a portion of the money we paid which I did appreciate but I would never recommend these DJs especially not Eric Monroe. My recommendation? Pay the extra money and get a DJ you have seen and liked at another wedding...do not scrimp on this just because this DJ is a preferred vendor through a venue.

Frantz was incredibly professional yet easygoing, which made me feel totally comfortable in front of the camera.
