Our coordinator Michele was extremely helpful keeping us moving forward with a detailed list of items to organize that we filled in over several months. She and Sarah were always available by email for questions, and when the day came, Michele was a rockstar. We had to make a difficult decision to move our wedding inside and she very professionally and empathetically guided me to make the right call. She was there to attend to every single need of ours from setting up the venue the way we wanted it to herding cats for family photos to ensuring I had water and snacks and food throughout the night. I has several guests tell me how effortless the night looked from a logistics standpoint and I cannot stress enough that was because of all the hard work that was happening behind the scenes. Michele's execution of our day was absolutely flawless and the peace of mind we got from having her was invaluable. 20/10 would recommend to a friend.

Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, but Maggie brought a sense of calm, organization, and reassurance throughout the entire process. She was incredibly supportive, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. The setting, the flow, and the overall experience felt seamless and special for both us and our guests. That said, there were a few moments where communication--particularly regarding timelines and coordination with the resort wedding team--felt a bit unclear or required follow-up on our end. However, Maggie was always receptive, responsive, and worked to address any concerns, which we truly appreciated. Joan called me back right away as she had a cancellation on the date we wanted. That was pure luck and the rest is history. Joan, her family and staff at Franklin Caterers were awesome to deal with. She made great suggestions for renting the tent and tables, took care of all the menu details as well as linens, and provided the perfect advice for setting up the bar and provided a bartender. Everyone was superbly professional, on-time, very communicative and we were able to enjoy the party with our guests which was our goal. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We had a short window to plan the event and Myriam was on top of EVERYTHING; she left no detail unattended. I was worried about everything because my siblings and I were planning this party from sunny California and the party was in Massachusetts. Myriam did an amazing job at putting my mind at ease. From her amazing recommendations of vendor choices to her innate abilities to capture the theme we were going for; her service is bar none. Myriam's business acumen is superb. Her patience and communication style made the three of feel like she wanted this party to be as big of a hit as we did. We hosted almost 90 people and Myriam had everything under control. From making sure the food arrived on time and working with outside caterers, wait staff, and entertainment; it was all taken care of. She even made sure we got all the family pictures we wanted, which proved to be the most valuable takeaway. Myriam has the expertise that you want when planning an event of any significance. I almost forgot to mention how much of a sweetheart she is! The thoughtful things she did (probably too much to go into here) made me truly happy that I hired her.     Ever since we signed on with M&M, we tell every couple we know that the FIRST THING they should do…read moreif they get engaged is hire a wedding planner (more specifically, our wedding planner). A number of amenities were made affordable, and therefore feasible, because we hired M&M. The rates we received from vendors, with Myriam as our representative, were far more favorable then the ones we sussed out before hiring her. Not only were the prices great, but the service was also exceptional. Her professionalism and reputation spurred vendors to do an excellent job so that she would one day advocate for them, too. Before we hired Myriam, we had very little idea of how much we should expect to spend, and as a result, we were hesitant to make any firm commitments. We had been engaged a year and a half when we met Myriam, and had decided upon absolutely nothing. I am especially thankful for Myriam's patience with us as we got used to synthesizing and articulating the details of our dream wedding. Wedding planners have to be gifted arbitrators, since the traditions, wishes, and opinions of two people (and by extension, two families) have to be weighed equally, and ultimately reconciled into something unique, memorable, and beautiful. In the days leading up to the wedding, my bridesmaids frequently commented (with no small amount of surprise and relief) about how relaxed I was going into the big day. I think that's because I had entrusted my wedding to the right person.

Looking back now, I can't imagine this past year without Alexis and her team at the Little Things. Alexis is cool, calm, and collected. She has an incredible eye and seemingly limitless patience. She gave me the space to design specific elements of our wedding while providing her expertise at every turn. Her high standards have helped her build a network of vendors who truly bring their A-game. My fiancé and I definitely put The Little Things through the ringer with our out-of-the-box interactive displays and AV set up. Alexis took it all in stride, remaining positive, managing our expectations, and meeting every challenge presented and exceeding expectations throughout. If you view wedding planners as a "nice to have," and not a "necessity," I would change your thinking. There are SO many things that can come up, and they would have easily derailed us many times in our planning if it were not for Alexis who acts as part wedding planner, part therapist throughout the process! ha! After following TLT on IG for some time, I knew I liked their high-end, laidback vibe, and from our first conversation we were bowled over by how those traits translated to the people behind the scenes. From early days with thoughtful questionnaires into every aspect of our identity, Alexis and Kayla began the journey of getting to know us better than we knew ourselves, and helped us establish a mood, a design aesthetic, and a way of working together that made the year of planning our wedding a true joy. What you can expect from working with TLT: monthly meetings where you will laugh until you cry, a meticulously organized online checklist of to-dos with assigned owners and gentle and timely reminders, to be presented with teams of vendors who match your vibe and price point (you can always suggest your own vendors and TLT will vet them too), never having to send a single email to a vendor (!!!!), a sense of comfort knowing that everything is IS THE BAG, and in the critical days leading up to the big day and including the big day itself - being able to be present and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. Alexis and Kayla helped us author our first big creative project together as a couple and will be lifelong friends.
