My mother and stepmother believe very strongly in consults and relied on her even though my stepmother is a professional party organizer out of state. The owner later told our vendors that they should do what they wanted because "these people were from out of state and KNEW Nothing." Even the vendors seemed embarrassed by this. We had instilled our trust this woman had thrown it aside. When we decided on our church location, she continually pushed to change the venue. People later said it was the prettiest church and wedding they had every seen. On the day of the wedding after I had repeatably stated I wanted it to be laid back and easy going, I had to sit down with the wedding planner and ask her to chill. If you want your event to be totally constructed and run by someone else, I would choose them. But if you have an idea of what you want and have the potential for mature decisions choose Boston Weddings or someone with heart. I hate that I have to write this because the wedding was beautiful but I know it was because of my mother, stepmother and other friends even my husband who found all the venues. From her amazing recommendations of vendor choices to her innate abilities to capture the theme we were going for; her service is bar none. Myriam's business acumen is superb. A number of amenities were made affordable, and therefore feasible, because we hired M&M. The rates we received from vendors, with Myriam as our representative, were far more favorable then the ones we sussed out before hiring her. Not only were the prices great, but the service was also exceptional. Her professionalism and reputation spurred vendors to do an excellent job so that she would one day advocate for them, too. Before we hired Myriam, we had very little idea of how much we should expect to spend, and as a result, we were hesitant to make any firm commitments. We had been engaged a year and a half when we met Myriam, and had decided upon absolutely nothing. I am especially thankful for Myriam's patience with us as we got used to synthesizing and articulating the details of our dream wedding. Wedding planners have to be gifted arbitrators, since the traditions, wishes, and opinions of two people (and by extension, two families) have to be weighed equally, and ultimately reconciled into something unique, memorable, and beautiful. That is considered one of the special events since there are specific instructions to submit by at least ~2 weeks in advance the reference photo so they can screen print it onto the canvas so it is more of a "paint by numbers" than following the instructor since it would be challenging to paint each unique pet. They offered great guidance of how to start. Understandably depending on the fur or pet detail it may take longer. I loved how mine turned out and proudly display it at home. They also offer a reward/loyalty system and somehow I have completed enough paintings at this point to level up to "Collector" so I'm excited to redeem a free painting session. After each event they send out a review survey so if you fill it out you receive a 10% off discount code for the next booking. I also got a birthday gift code of 20% off that I used for the most recent "Autumn Porch Leaner" class. Since I've also completed so many standard canvas paintings at this point I've also branched out now into the unique long/tall paintings for a different experience. She would then block me and then unblock me and continue to send threatening messages. This woman wants to keep her shady business practice behind wraps. She also threatened me about someone else leaving her a bad review. Her google reviews are mainly all one star reviews. She is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I wish I contacted the other party planning business before I came into contact with this evil person. I have included screen shots of her harassment. I have informed the police department and will take all legal measures should she continue to threaten and harass me. Her number is listed to show you she is the evil person behind these texts. Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! By the way, she's so much fun and had a blast singing/dancing along with her and our FAB DJ. Our family and friends fell in love with her as well, that I almost forgot she was my planner. :) In a good way that is. She was extremely professional but was so down to earth, she was like family.
