stucco Maestro did an excellent job repairing the on my . I only needed repair an entire replacement and he did not push me at all to do more than needed. He gave me options and was very good at explaining what we were looking at I would highly recommend this company. The price was quite fair for the enormous amount of work they did and the high-quality. read more

Stucco Maestro was recommended to us by a neighbor who had some stucco repair done on their house. When we looked at what they did for the neighbor, the texture and color matching was so good that we couldn't tell the difference between the original stucco and the repaired stucco. Having seen the quality of their work, we gave Marcus a call. Marcus came out and looked at what we needed done and gave us an honest assessment of the damaged stucco. He didn't sugar coat his assessment of the damaged stucco and pointed out areas of serious damage and areas that were not as bad. They came out and did a great job. The quality of their work was excellent and Marcus and his crew were great. They went above and beyond and did more than what was originally quoted. I highly recommend Stucco Maestro to anyone who needs their stucco repaired. read more

Stucco Maestro came to us via our General Contractor. We had replaced a picture window and 2 side windows with a slider door and 2 long side windows. Marcus and his associate did an outstanding job. They were very professional, polite, clean, and efficient. I highly recommend this business. read more

I would post less than one star if possible. This was an expensive job and I suspect that Mr. Ojeda used a very cheap color coat. Color coat is supposed to last 15 years not ten days! He now wants to send another bid to put up scaffolding again and waterproof his color coat. The scratch coat and brown coat both were given 3 weeks each to cure before the final coat was applied. I am stunned as I have never been let down or felt as betrayed as U do now by a contractor in San Diego and this is the third home I have owned in the course of over 30 years in San Diego! read more

We hired Stucco Mastro to remove old wood and reface the front of our house with stucco. Marcus was an incredibly easy to work with guy. He had his crew here every day, working full days throughout the phases of the project. The crew was kind, considerate, and made an effort to clean up after each day. They finished the project when they said they would and the quality exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Marcus and his crew for future stucco jobs. It was a delight to work with them. read more

I called Stucco Maestro, and Marcus came out a few times to give me estimates because initially I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. There were some cracks in the stucco in the front of my garage, replaced damaged wood, among other items. He assessed the work and e-mailed me an estimate. He did exceptional work and provided great customer service throughout the time. He was easy to work with and professional. He communicated clearly with me throughout the process. He went above and beyond what I expected. I was so impressed upon seeing the finished job. I would recommend Marcus to family and friends. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We had a plumbing issue that resulted in a 2ft x 1ft hole in our exterior wall, necessitating a stucco repair. Stucco Maestro's quote was the least expensive of three I got, and he was easy to communicate with via text. Day-of, he carefully moved all objects even remotely in the vicinity of the area and cleaned up thoroughly after himself. The finished patch is incredibly well done - it blends PERFECTLY and we didn't even need to paint it after because it already looked so good once it dried. He was also super nice and seemed like a great guy. read more

The house was dingy, with cracks and deteriorated stucco in places. Repairs were made, the color changed using Omega super fog to give a more up-to-date look. The work was done on time and budget. Communication with Marcus was easy. Another beautiful job by Marcus and his crew. We are very pleased with the results and so are our neighbors! Thank you Marcus, Genardo, Santiago and Frank, you are all great guys. read more

5 stars from start to finish! If you need stucco work done, look no further! Marcus and his crew are the absolute best at what they do. After years of moisture damage, I was badly in need of stucco repair and weep screed installation. After getting several quotes, I just didn't get the right vibe from the other guys. When Marcus came along, he was on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I ended up going with Marcus and Stucco Maestro, and it was the best decision ever! Working with Marcus was phenomenal. His communication is above and beyond, always notifying me when his crew was headed over. After each day of work, he cleaned up after himself and left my house better than how he found it. He even repaired stucco outside of the agreed upon repairs! In the end, his work speaks for itself, it's amazing. If you need any stucco work done, go with Stucco Maestro! 5 stars!!! read more

Stucco Maestro did a great job repairing the chimney and front porch of our very old house. They made good recommendations of how to reinforce both locations and I'm confident they fixed the areas once and for all. Marcus, the owner, was professional and responsive, and the other workers were reliable and friendly. I highly recommend. read more

High quality service and results. My home looks brand new. The cracks and holes were repaired, and weep screed was added where needed. I highly recommend Stucco Maestro - and his crew (Gerano and Santiago) skilled professionals. Excellent attitude! read more

Stucco Maestro just completed the stucco of the front face of our home which used to have old wood siding. The work done by Marcus and his crew from initial demolition of the wood siding, to preparing and applying the stucco, to the final clean up was excellent. The new front of our home turned out great and the project was completed at a very fair price. Marcus and every member of his crew was always friendly, hard working and paid a lot of attention to detail in their work. They even did some wood repair on the fascia boards that my roofer missed to address. Communication with Marcus was always professional and easy via phone, text or email. I would highly recommend Stucco Maestro for any stucco project and not hesitate to hire them again in the future. read more

We've been struggling to get through a major remodel on our old home and have seen many people come and go during the process. Of these, Marcus has been our favorite! We are very pleased with how the stucco came out, and how professional and considerate Marcus and his crew were. He helped us through some of the surprises and challenges an old home brings anytime you open a wall/panel, and really took the time to explain what was needed, supply a fair estimate, and to do it right. I think he is a real straight arrow--honest, kind, and taking pride in what he does. He has a very clean and capable crew that reflect this, working well together and doing an amazing job, sometimes even singing as they go about it. They clearly have been doing it for many years, and the "maestro" name feels well deserved. Thank you Marcus! read more

Marcus is a true craftsman and totally professional. He repaired our heavily leaking fireplace about 12 years ago, then redid our entire house with a new Santa Barbara finish (still looks awesome). He redid a retaining wall our land scraper screwed up a few years after that, and recently repaired more stucco when we uiua deck. He's always been timely, honest and reliable and his guys just work. Three of the projects were time and materials and we were satisfied all the way around. He's not going BS you and he'll find a solution that works for your needs. read more

The stucco on my home and garage fell off in different areas. I got quotes to either patch the affected areas or re-stucco the entire property. I chose Stucco Maestro since Marcus was the only contractor to provide me a quote that included sandblasting for re-stuccoing the entire home. My house looks great. It was a costly project, but Marcus and his crew improved the value of my home and did work that would protect my property in the long-run. Marcus was good at communicating with me throughout the project (email, phone and text) and was a pleasure to work with. Marcus also helped a large, lost dog with that came to the house. The dog had no ID tag. Marcus had filled a bucket of water for the dog to drink (he was very thirsty and panting heavily). He leashed the pit bull with a rope and helped it into my car (the dog didn't want to move from my driveway). I took the sweet dog to my vet who later turned it over to Animal Control. The dog's owner eventually picked him up from the animal shelter. read more

review update: Recently, we had some electrical conduit removed from an exterior wall of our house. There were a whole lot of small holes (60+) to repair and color match and some other small repairs. Back in 2015 we had Stucco Maestro restucco our whole house. They did an outstanding job, so of course we called to see if they would do the repairs from the recent conduit removal. We love working with Marcus. He is honest, does exactly what he says he will, and really takes pride in his workmanship. He came out and gave us a reasonable estimate. His crew was right on time, clean and efficient, and made our house look like new again. Marcus and his crew are absolutely the best!!! read more

I can see why stucco maestro has all those five star reviews. Marcos and his crew just finished applying a Santa Barbara smooth coat finish to my home. Stucco maestro are very busy guys. I had to wait nearly 2 months for them to begin the job. In the end though, it was so worth the wait. Marcos' attention to detail and absolute professionalism and courtesy are beyond reproach. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the job they did. I only wish all merchants ran their businesses as Marcos does. I am in the middle of a complete house remodel. I chose Merlex Cilantro as my color and it turned out perfect. Best price. Best quality work. They are the best! I am so appreciative. Thank you. read more

RETURN CUSTOMER! I just used Stucco Man, THE ONE AND ONLY (don't be fooled by *new imitators) this is Marcus Ojeda, Stucco Man. I was able to save some money by previous advice i had from Marcus about tearing out a door and window i wanted to get stuccoed over. I did it myself which was very easy and Marcus did the stucco. He had to do some water treatments and a bit of wood working but didn't charge me more than what he quoted me on the front end. The patching from old to new looks seamless and he also did the front door for me at the same time, in only TWO DAYS! His team is top of the line, now proved it to me twice. I wouldn't even look for another guy, these guys are true craftsman. If you want a professional call Marcus, Stucco Man! read more

Stucco Maestro has been our GO TO company for the past 10- 15 years. We are a 22 unit condo complex in downtown La Mesa Village. Our building was in great need of repair and stucco work, without question we knew who to call. As always Marcus and his fabulous crew did a fantastic job. They worked diligently, always cheerful, clean and safety regulations always in force, and always so respectful of the needs and wishes of our community. All work was completed in the time frame as quoted. Thank you so much Marcus. On behalf of all residents, thanks for your great work ethic, and many thanks to your wonderful, considerate crew. I have nothing but great things to say about Marcus and his crew! Basically we hired an unlicensed contractor to do our retaining walls. He had no idea what he was doing. Marcus came by to give us an estimate to repair and finish the work the other stucco guys had done. He did a walk through and explained how he would fix the stucco in detail and provided us with an estimate later that evening. His quote was more than reasonable and half the cost of another stucco estimate from a company that is also highly rated on Yelp. We had issues picking out a color for the stucco so Marcus made a small sample of two colors so we could compare it on our actual wall. The guys protected our new concrete patio and turf. They cleaned up at the end of each day and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work. These guys were very hard working and had the job done in 3 days. Thank you Marcus!!! read more

Stucco Maestro provided great service at a fair price. They did stucco patching and repaired an area on an older home, they were the only ones that added a weep screed to the area being replaced so we would not have future issues with the stucco deterioration due to moisture. They were courteous, hard working and knew what they were doing. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of the work completed. Marcus and his crew sandblasted the old painted stucco, installed weep screed, patched the cracks, and re-stuccoed my entire home - the house looks gorgeous. Additionally, the crew cleans up the job site before they leave each day, you almost wouldn't know they were there. Marcus is a pleasure to deal with, and you can tell he is proud to put his name on every job he completes - the next time I refinish a home, I'll only have one number to call for stucco work! read more

We hired Marcus and Stucco Maestro to completely re-stucco our home and all hardscape. At every phase of the project, Marcus was upfront, honest and very easy to deal with. They did everything from sand blasting, remediation of (considerable) structural damage and new stucco. His team of craftsmen were unbelievable and the finished product is beautiful. We have had multiple people come up to us saying that it's the best looking stucco they have ever seen. I could not be more happy with the job they did, and cannot recommend them more highly. read more

Marcus aka "Stucco Man" is the best there is! I refurbish homes and I have had a lot of good stucco jobs, but none as beautiful and professionally done as Marcus can produce. The house he just completed for me is a 1914 mission revival. He had to get rid of the old extremely pitted and uneven stucco finish and apply a smooth Santa Barbara finish. Most bids I received stated that a Santa Barbara finish is difficult to get even, require more prep and more time, therefore a lot more expensive, but not Marcus. He did not hesitate and the price was quoted fairly and did not exceed the price of any other finish. He truly is a master and brings with him the hardest workers with just the right talent that is needed for the area they are working on. Marcus and his workers are so pleasant to have at your house, thoughtful, clean and respectful. I can't stress enough how important it is to have a crew that is clean on a stucco job. He also applied a beautiful Venetian plaster to my fireplace. My sister is a designer and after meeting Marcus and seeing his work offered him a job in Arizona. She also felt his work is beyond compare. At the end of the job, I have a gorgeous finish on my house at a good price and I consider Marcus, a good friend. read more

It's nice to have a conscientious guy in the contracting business . . . not worried about how many jobs he can fit in and actually finishes what he promised to finish " ON TIME !!!!" His quality of work is outstanding because he actually cares about not only his own reputation but his client 's desires. . . . a true craftsman. I highly recommend him to anybody that needs stucco work from a small installation( like I had) or your whole house, Marcus is a true "old school" professional. If you want a stucco job done right AND on time call "Stucco Man" . . . he's the only call you need to make! Thanks, Marcus read more

First I need to address the review written on 4/3/2014 by Elizabeth S. Being that Marcus was working with me on my house during this time I need to say that everyone should take her words with a grain of salt. Maybe she has never dealt with the loss of a loved one and had to "get things done for their spouse", but that is exactly what Marcus was dealing with when he cancelled on her twice. Sometimes ones personal life actually trumps work life and thank goodness it does. Marcus is nothing but professional and under normal circumstances (without a death of a loved one), I am certain he would have showed Elizabeth his "true professional colors." With that being said, I can now get to my review. Marcus Ojeda is amazing. My husband built an add on to our house and was so worried that once the stucco was on you would be able to tell that it was an addition and not part of the original house. Marcus and his guys did such an outstanding job you can't tell AT ALL. My husband is so impressed and thankful for the work they did. Not only did they do great work, but the price was unbeatable and he truly is one of the nicest guys I have met. I am so glad that I found him through this website. I would recommend him, hands down. read more

Marcus Ojeda is the absolute best!! he did a fantastic job on our house project, which consisted of some major stucco repairs, as well as installing a couple of exterior doors. Marcus was perfectly professional, polite, and prompt throughout the whole process. He listened to my requests, gave me a fair price, and always responded and arrived as promised. I was blown away. Nicest guy ever and great quality of work. To top it off, he and his guys left my backyard even cleaner than before they arrived. Nice touch! A quick note, apparently he used to be known as "Stucco Man", but he is now "Stucco Maestro". I was a little confused and wary at first, but you can read additional reviews about him, just search under "Marcus Ojeda". read more

There are a couple of ways to hire someone to fix your stucco. One is to search the internet, pick several companies, get bids, and then pick at random. The better way is to call Marcus at Stucco Maestro. He just finished a small but essential repair in our home. He was on time, professional, and did an outstanding repair. Plus, his prices were the best by far. The moral of the story is, don't waste your time with others. Just call Marcus. read more

I referred a friend to Marcus Ojeda at Stucco Man for an exterior stucco job, and Marcus sure came through again! Such a nice guy, always on time, and my friend was absolutely thrilled with the way her home turned out. Her home used to have a kind of cobblestone texture, but when Marcus was done with it the walls were smooth and clean and it really looked like a whole new house! Very modern and beautiful. I can't say enough about the quality of work these guys do. They don't have many Yelp reviews, however they have many on their website: http://stuccomansd.com/testimonials.html read more

Stucco Man did some new stucco for us to match existing. It matched perfectly, color and texture. It looks like it was done the same day as all the other stucco. The price was good. The work was completed quickly and the team was professional. I was impressed and so glad I did not try to do it myself as I had contemplated for a while. Worth the money. read more

They turned our tan, crumbling ten year old stucco walls into pretty, brand new walls. I only wish we would have done it earlier, so we could have enjoyed it before we moved. They are professional, and courteous. They do not stomp through your house like other work crews (they never entered my home), and they clean up all their mess when they leave. Thanks Stucco Man! read more

This was the first time in years I hired a contractor without getting other bids, as the reviews were so good. I definitely made a great decision, as the two man crew Marcus had repair my stucco and install the weep screens did a great job. They did a very good job getting the new stucco to blend in with the old. I wish I could of afforded to just have them re-stucco the house and our walls, but that increased the cost quite a bit. Be patient with Marcus as he is a busy guy, but he is honest and his team does great work. read more

Marcus and the Stucco Man team did a great job for me! I replaced the front entry door and needed some stucco patch/repair done around the frame. I also asked for estimates to redo the stucco around the entire house. Marcus showed up on time to take a look for the estimate and took his time explaining options to me. He told me exactly what quotes he was going to provide via email. The quote for the door showed up later the same day and the quotes for the rest of the house a few days later - just as he explained. I wanted the door completed pretty quickly and Marcus worked around the weather to get it done. All he needed was water and electric access and they got the work done without me needing to be home. The job took two days to complete and was done just when Marcus promised. Matching the color was a challenge but they did a very good job and come up with an extremely close match. The finish was exactly what I asked for with the stucco around the frame brought exactly to the same level so I could easily install brickmould to finish the door installation. They left the jobsite clean and me with a great quality stucco repair that matches the rest of the house. Price was competitive. The ease with getting this done is probably the biggest selling point for using Marcus the Stucco Man again in the future. His quotes for the rest of the house helped me understand my options. I'm interested in changing the color and also going from a rough lace finish to something smoother. Marcus gave me several options (at different price points) to accomplish my desired look. Now just a matter of me making a decision on how much I want to spend and putting him on schedule to get it done - I have options provided by Marcus! read more
