The house looks wonderful and the team did quality work. Blaine and his brother Darren were involved, helped with color choices and saw the job all the way through. during the process an electrical upright was broken (trying to stucco behind it). I waited a while to write a review. We shopped around for a company to re-stucco our home (approx 1900-200sq ft). Our plumber (Ivy Plumbing) who knows the quality tradesman recommended them. We received about 5 bids and Nurse was about in the middle in terms of cost. We did get lower bids but the lifetime warranty was a major factor as well as the length of time the business has been around. I didn't want cracks showing up in 5 years and having the company be out of business or the stucco guy long gone. Blaine was great to work with and his crew were outstanding. Quality work, totally satisfied. About 8 months later SDGE came to relocate the meter and left a good size hole where the original meter was. Blaine and his crew came and patched it up free of charge! You don't get that kind of service these days. That's old school. Very appreciative of the beyond and above. Really disappointed in the stucco repair job I had done. Blaine was great to work with and I had high hopes with all the positive reviews. I had my repair done about a year ago. I have to check the walls every time before it rains and see if there are more cracks I have to repair. There are so many cracks and I'm not great at repairing them. Looks terrible. I don't know if it was because it rained the day after the repair that the stucco cracks more. I paid a lot of money for the repair. These guys were referred to me by our realtors, so we had them come by to give an estimate for some repair work on our home that was being sold. Great job on our home stucco repairs and complete synthetic restucco! Would highly recommend Nurse Stucco if you are looking for the same. Our home's stucco had definitely seen better days. Tons of cracks and shoddy patches made by the previous owner; many failing sections where the stucco was falling apart and exposing the underlying lath; and overall age/neglect. We needed to address the problems. We called Nurse Stucco (as well as 3 other Stucco companies) and Darren Nurse came out to assess. Due to their industry knowledge, long company history, the most competitive pricing, and generally just trusting the reviews and referrals for them, we hired them to repair the broken areas and restucco the entire house using acrylic or synthetic Stucco. Met Darren in 2016, needed stucco re-do but delayed it until 2021. Darren was kind enough to come back out, have a new quote for only slightly more than original 2016 estimate despite escalated Covid costs. His crew showed up as planned and were very efficient, professional and clean up was amazing when they completed our project in Dec 2021. We were very happy. In March 2023 we had a small issue with the 25 year warranty synthetic stucco failing in one area. Darren suggested the cause was due to excessive water build up against the one wall due to excessive 2023 early rains. I called slightly fearing a repair/warranty claim would be a hassle... Not at all. His guy showed up, fixed immediately and you can't even tell there was a very minor isolated issue. Moving forward I'll ensure water is alleviated away from that one wall.. I didn't realize it might cause an issue. Darren was completely understanding and fixed under warranty free of charge. So, from first experience with Nurse Stucco, to the end. I spoke with several companies and they were the only one that provided a plan to FIX my problem area without suggesting I re-stucco the entire house. I had painted parts of the house and the color faded over the years. Nurse Stucco sanded off the paint, re-stuccoed the area, then used a fog-coat to blend the new color with the old. This was not easy because the stucco color is not in use anymore, but their color guy - Mariano - really is a true MAGICIAN! The house looks FANTASTIC !! I am quite happy with the results of my stucco repair that was done by nurse stucco! I had 2 windows installed smaller and 1 window removed, and it was important to me that the stucco repair be nice as it is the front of my house! I'm very happy with the results of the work completed, and I would have given a 5 star review, but I did deduct one because the cleanup wasn't done very good, and I had to do a fair amount of cleanup myself. I wish they had used drop cloths on the area below where they worked so our mulch, rocks, and sidewalks didn't get so much concrete and stucco on them, in the grand scheme of things, it's the quality of the work that matters most, and that I am 5 Star happy with!
