We called and Cliff the owner who is a Master Plasterer and knows the business inside and out came out to look at the job. We had a home inspector give bad information. We originally called for a bid and Cliff didn't charge but explained everything about the job and why we didn't need to redo the weep screed like the inspector said. Didn't charge us and saved us $8000 that another contractor wanted to do work we didn't need. I would highly recommend him. On time and very honest. read more

Cliff and team did a full re-stucco of our house and we could not be happier with the result. The entire crew were clean, professional and friendly. 10/10 would, will and have recommended to anyone needing stucco work! read more

So our house slowly became that quaint rustic house with cracked stucco, faded paint, and uneven walls. After much research, we settle on Lemon Grove. Cliff was great! Explained what we should do and gave us enough time to look at color samples and textures. We were also given a list of jobs they have done in and around the area, which we went to look at. The date was set, and his crew came out and took care of everything and the house looks great! We've gotten a lot of compliments from people around the neighborhood, in other words, "It's about time!" LOLLLL! And yes, it was time to give the house a lot of TLC since it takes care of us! This is a great company to work with! Thank you all so much! read more

Cliff the owner came over to my house gave me an estimate and he told me i would be completely satisfied. The work exceeded my expectations. The job was top notch. Kevin Abbey / Cardiff read more

Cliff the owner followed us all the way home because we had the nerve to honk at him for blocking a lane in his truck for THREE MINUTES -- he was sitting and looking at a roof being torn off a house on which he wasn't even involved in the project, because we asked when he came back to scream at us. Apparently, Cliff thought following us home to berate us was the right thing to do, but he got an earful back. If he treats a simple honk to move while blocking a narrow two-way street, imagine how defensive he is about his work with customers of Lemon Grove Stucco. read more

So incredibly professional and legit at their job. We had them come out for wood panel removal and restucco. Cliff's visit for estimate was incredibly thorough; he really goes above and beyond to educate the homeowner on the entire process. His price was lower than other bids from what appeared to be less professional companies. He also went out of the way to fit the job in when we needed it done by (which, I'm sure is not something that can always be done but it is notable that they worked to accommodate my request). The crews delivered what they were scheduled to on their scheduled dates (showed up early/on time, no re-scheduling or other changes). They knew what they were doing and provided thorough and complete work. Love the color ("Thunder Sky") and the foam pop-outs around the windows and garage (which we painted white in case you're wondering). Crews cleaned up everything, no trash or debris left behind. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their house re-stucco'ed! Your old home will look new! read more

The stucco on our Allied Gardens house was old and sluffing away around the base. Cliff, the owner of Lemon Grove Stucco, came out and gave an itemized description of the work to be done. He really knows his business, explained everything, gave some good advice. The cost was about what I expected from an established company. The crew was seven experienced, skilled, and hard-working guys: Jay, George, Rory, Scott, Chip, Ramon, and Jose - all of them friendly and professional. We went for a laced texture that takes extra skill to apply. All detailing around new ANDERSON windows is excellent. From prep to final clean up they knocked themselves out and the result is a house that looks like a million bucks. read more

We had Cliff visit our home to look at some stucco and water damage. He was honest and thorough and said that we didn't need expensive and extensive repairs. My wife was so appreciative of his professional approach when he could have convinced us to spend a small fortune. You never know what you're going to get when you seek advice. It's nice to know that there are reliable tradesmen out there. read more

Even though I didn't use them, Clif was an awesome guy. He explained the process of stucco and his experience is high. I just cold not afford stucco. I really wanted to but my budget was tight. Don't hesitate to go with these guys you won't be disappointed read more

We needed to have our home re-stuccoed, and we'd seen some of Lemon Grove's work before in the neighborhood. Cliff came out and gave us a quote on the spot, but they were booking 8-9 weeks out. We were also having our home painted (non-stucco), and so the painters prepped and primed before the re-stucco took place. Sandblasting took 2 days (and at times was noisy, so good time to go out for lunch), the the re-stucco took another 2.5 days (not nearly as noisy). End result was fantastic. Crew were very friendly and accommodating. And the end result was stunning. They do not color match paint, but the stucco color options were plentiful and we were happy with the color we chose (LaHabra Oatmeal). (This is a very analog business - contract on paper, communications by phone - not email or text, but still very efficient). read more

When looking for a re-stucco we interviewed a few companies and decided on going with Lemon Grove Stucco. Cliff came out to do our estimate and is well prepared and has a professional business demeanor. Everything from his explanations and packet that was tailored to us with references in our area shows he is well prepared. His crew is also exceptional. If Cliff wasn't around his foreman Jay and really everyone on the crew addressed anything we needed. We also had issues with our underlaying stucco from the previous owner but Cliff stuck to the original estimate that he provided. As a person and company this speaks to their integrity. Our jobs turned really good and it completely transformed our house for the better. He also does report cards halfway through the project and at the end so he can assess the customers feedback. The quotes on their folder for our estimate reads "Other companies can raise their quality to our standards.... But we will not lower our quality to their standards." I feel like this accurately represents Lemon Grove Stucco and would recommend them for your stucco needs. read more

Cliff, I'm so sorry I was not home when you finished the job last Tuesday. That Park gig was on the calendar a long time ago. I wanted to thank you in person. Cheri and I are just over the moon with the new stucco. The house finally looks like we imagined six years ago. And it's not just looks. Your work will protect the structure. But what am I telling you? We are grateful for the professionalism of everyone. Friendly. Efficient. Really skilled at what they do. Especially you. The neighbors definitely noticed. And you protected their property just as you did ours. Feel free to offer us as a recent project reference. Stan and Cheri read more

Wow Lemon Grove Stucco truly did a spectacular job on our house! They were so professional and you can tell Cliff and all of his employees really know what they're doing and care about doing a really great job. We ended up getting 5 quotes and there were a few that were close to what Lemon Grove Stucco quoted us, but we had a really great feeling about them after our estimate. Cliff took the time to explain every little detail to us and even offered references for their old jobs, which was super helpful when we were deciding on a color. It's so hard to just look at a color swatch and decide on the color of your house! Our house went through full renovations and was quite a mess, but Cliff and his guys were able to make the construction imperfections disappear. They were timely each day and worked so hard to keep everything clean. They taped up the doors and windows and even covered the floor outside. Our neighbors said that they really appreciated how neat the guys were and that they didn't notice any sand on their properties. Each and every worker was polite and professional and incredibly knowledgeable. They always greeted us and were incredibly accommodating as we had to step out several times when the house was taped up. I'm sure it was a bit annoying as they would have to let us out and retape, but they were always so nice about it. We also had planned on installing new windows before the stucco job, but we weren't able to get the windows in until after the stucco was complete. Even though it was after the job was complete, they were able to touch up around the windows for us. They really went above and beyond and we will definitely recommend them to everyone we know! read more

They were quick to get back to me, but they said they don't do stucco repairs, only full stucco work on the entire building.

We just finished having our home sandblasted and restuccoed by Lemon Grove Stucco. From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. The owner Cliff showed up on time and walked through the job and had a proposal ready for us before he left. About a week before we were scheduled to start the job, we had to reschedule due to a delay on another project. Cliff was very accommodating and understanding. He was able to get us back on the calendar about 30 days later and said he would try to fit us in sooner if something fell through on another job. Another opening came up and Cliff was able to fit us in sooner. On the first day of the job, the crew showed up on time with three huge trucks. They were courteous and professional from start to finish. They quickly prepped the house and began sandblasting. They completed the sandblasting the same day and cleaned everything up. The following day they came back and stuccoed. In the end, they were a true pleasure to work with. Everyone on their team from the owner to the office to the workers was great. I highly recommend Lemon Grove Stucco. read more

Lemon Grove Stucco has saved our construction project! We are building a two-story addition above our garage and a friend referred Jose Cabrero Stucco (aka Jose Cabrero). Without getting into too much detail, Jose Cabrero did such a bad job on the scratch and brown coat that he abandoned his own job leaving behind unfinished sections -- with Lath still showing -- uneven cement, some areas too thin, others too thick. With Jose having abandoned the project, we soon learned that he had shammed others as well. We were already $20K in on this stucco job and even lost our General Contractor - who also abandoned the project - mainly due to arguments on how to proceed, specifically related to this stucco job. Now on our own and trying to manage our own project we did much research on how to fix this poor stucco work done by Jose Cabrero Stucco since we could not move forward with our project until that was completed. After getting bids to repair Jose's work, some companies responded that little could be done. One company even suggested removing the brown coat cement and starting over, another said the stucco needed to be sanded down in certain areas. After two months of searching ... we ran into Cliff from Lemon Grove Stucco. Cliff was super understanding of our situation and spent his time explaining to us our options. Cliff assured us that these mistakes were really bad but still manageable. What Cliff told us made sense and was much more feasible. Within a couple of weeks - minus a few days of bad weather -- Lemon Grove Stucco had finished the stucco job and finished the color coat. We were so impressed by the luxurious and fantastic finish that we decided to write reviews. Lemon Grove Stucco, not only finished the stucco, but they also made it look beautiful. They cleaned up the entire project left behind by the contractor, all the wire and cement that was left behind by the other stucco company, and also removed all the scaffolding. We cannot thank Cliff and Lemon Grove Stucco enough. There is no question in our mind that when we do our next stucco project, Lemon Grove Stucco will be the first company we call. Another thing that was super impressive was the huge list of other good jobs that Lemon Grove Stucco performed locally. That said, we highly recommend Lemon Grove Stucco and suggest that you give them a call before you decide on another stucco contractor. read more

Lemon grove stucco...WOW!!! OUTSTANDING. Cliff and his crew did a fantastic job on my house in Lemon grove. Crew members came out dressed appropriately and handled my tenant professionally. The work they did was flawless, finished on time just like Cliff said he would. I got a couple different bids from different companies and they were ridiculously high, and Cliff was totally reasonable for the work he had to perform. He walked me through the stages that the workers will be performing and the finish that he was going to be applying. Everything came out just like he said ......job site was cleaned up better than it was when they got there Would highly recommend Lemon Grove stucco to anybody looking to sandblast, and re-stucco their home. Power washing does not compare to the quality and the lasting look that homeowners and businesses are looking for when restocking their home/business. Many thanks to Cliff and his crew. read more

On behalf of the anxious new home owners next door to the house getting work done by this company, I felt compelled to share their utmost respect and concern for our property. The owner approached us several times to inform us and reassure us our place would be protected and anything else they could do to ensure little to no debris would come on our property. Being in our position, it can seem sort of obnoxious to be so uptight about some dust that can easily be removed, but we just had a brand new AC being installed the same day. The owner and their workers were so patient and friendly with us. If we ever need our own house work done, without hesitation, we would reach out to this great company. read more

Lemon Grove Stucco: What a terrifically run company! We just had our 30 year old house sandblasted and re-stucco'd. I cannot say enough about the excellent and gorgeous job they did! Their excellent prep with sandblasting and water blasting before applying the new stucco makes all the difference! Really great looking stucco that will last a long time. Customer service and truly great craftsmanship are what we hoped to get when we chose Lemon Grove Stucco, and that is exactly what we got! We had many areas that needed repair including wooden borders around big windows where the bottom slats had rotted and we wanted them taken off, waterproofed and covered with plain stucco. Once they started the project they offered to Go ahead and remove the rotten wood but then to create beautiful decorative "sills" under the two large windows out of decorative foam, water-proofed and re-stucco'd which create interest, while at the same time being water proofed unlike wood. This was at no extra cost! They showed pride of craftsmanship and wanted to do not just an adequate job, but a beautiful job! Our house had many other stucco repairs needed before the new stucco was applied which were expertly fixed. The folks at Lemon Grove Stucco are proud of their work, care to make it beautiful and of high quality, and it shows! In addition, they thoroughly protected our garden and covered all hardscape. They cleaned thoroughly after each stage of the project. Customer service and quality product with a very friendly and happy experience is what Lemon Grove Stucco provided us. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks Cliff, Jay, Scott and all the guys!! read more

Warrantee is useless. lemon grove stucco sandblasted rebuilt the front of our house and restuccoed our house in santee, this was a big expence. I was happy at first, but many cracks started reappearing from where they were before within two years. they did not use any fiber tape on any of the cracks so they opened up. I was told about the great warrantee Lemon grove stucco has..... well they won't even call me back or answer my email. I am trying to put my house on the market and wanted some of these problems addressed, but the office girl just tells me they will call back. she said maybe I'm not even one of their accounts, ( she can't look up an address???) so sad I thought they were a good company but not so. read more

After getting estimates from five local stucco companies for the re-stucco project for my parents' home, we chose Lemon Grove Stucco. Cliff, the owner of the company came out and did the walk through and provided the most reasonable assessment and proposal for my elderly parents' project. He listened to me and my parents input and expectations and he was extremely accommodating and patient with all of our questions and concerns. We didn't choose Lemon Grove Stucco because it was the lowest bid, but my parents chose them because they trusted Cliff. For my folks, this project of an exterior home facelift which also included installation of all new windows was a huge effort, not only time wise but financially. Cliff listened to them and with his professional input and guidance, their home now looks amazing. Cliff also was great and made sure he sent his crew back to add foam accent molding around some of the new windows that required old wood sills to be cut back. Cliff and his entire crew were great - I highly recommend you at minimum, request Lemon Grove Stucco to provide a quote for your stucco project - meet Cliff and you will see what I am talking about. Would definitely refer them to friends. read more

We just had Cliff's crew back to patch some stucco after we had some concrete work and a fence post removed from a wall. The stucco is perfectly matched. Cliff recommended architectural foam where the fence post was removed and it turned out beautifully. While Jay was over doing the work, he recommended we get some vents that have a white trim to compliment the white window trim on our house. That was such a great recommendation. I have been extremely happy with the work they have done. We get so many compliments on our home. read more

If I could give Cliff and Lemon Grove Stucco 10 stars I would. Our house was a nightmare flip from hell. To make a long story short the flipper and their contractor refused to be accountable for the "new" windows they installed on the home. Cliff was patient, attended every meeting, and helped the flipper realize they needed to install new windows that were UP TO CODE for our home. Cliff went above and beyond what any usual company would have done. I can't thank him enough. There are cheaper bids out there, but no other company will ensure their work is done properly from start to finish. Don't bother with cheap, shoddy, MacGyver work. I can't say enough about how great the experience with Lemon Grove Stucco was from beginning to end. We have a family property with three separate buildings all in very neglected condition and all needing challenging repairs to walls, around windows, etc. We interviewed/received bids from four companies. A couple were hesitant about all the repairs, and only Lemon Grove offered the sand-blasting which was a must have with the age and condition of the old stucco and paint. Cliff the owner explains everything in good detail, and is always available to answer questions on prep before they begin. They even give you addresses where they have done each of the stucco color choices so you can drive around and look at them "live". Once the crew got here, it was a phenomenal sight! They bring a small army with good equipment and great skills and work ethic. James the Project Manager/Foreman was incredible. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodated some small last second requests, as well as answered all our questions along the way. Every one of the crew was friendly, hard working and professional. These aren't guys that are pulled out of no where - and their skills are evident. (We even found out one of the guys on the crew had been trained as a teenager to do stucco 40 years ago by my husband's grandfather who did the original stucco here way back when). The end result was a complete transformation from dilapidation to a beautiful textured finish. They left the yard cleaner than when they came also. On top of it all, they offer one year same as cash financing which was a great help as we have tons of other repairs to make all at once and it helps to stretch the repair fund. Bottom Line, Lemon Grove Stucco is excellent. Thank you! read more

Terrible customer service. As soon as I called, the woman said that she didn't want to do what we want to do. Very rude.

One star for no follow up and for not returning repeated calls/emails for repairs on our home.

I had my house and back wall re-stucco'd by Lemon Grove stucco. The house looks good, but am questioning how long it will last since they rushed the last side of the house and really rushed the wall. The crew cut corners on the wall by not doing proper prep work if any at all . The stucco is coming off in places. He says it's not his fault, but water leeching thru the walls . The wall was fine before he started. I only wanted it to match the house. He wants to charge me to repair it and showed me the contract where it states no guarantee on walls. I guess since he doesn't guarantee walls gives them the privilege to cut corners and they surely did. I've been going back and forth with him almost 2 years now and he won't budge . Poor customer relations. I've heard other's complain about getting their stucco problems fixed. read more

GREATLY APPRECIATE THE HONESTY. I did not get any work done through Lemon Grove Stucco, Inc. (or anyone for that matter), but wanted to give kudos to the owner, Cliff, for his honesty. He provided me an estimate and said he would gladly do the work, but again reiterated the stucco on the house was fine and would last for another 15 years. He was upfront with me regarding the stucco because he did not want me to waste my money on work that did not need to be done unless I wanted it done. Thanks for the honesty. read more

This is the second time in a week that the workers from this company have blocked the entire street so no residents can go through. If that wasn't bad enough, the workers in the truck (who were just sitting there) refused to move the truck and insisted that I go around the wrong way, into oncoming traffic where there was barely enough room to get by in the first place. If this is any indication of their work or work ethic, I will DEFINITELY NOT be using the company EVER!
