We worked with Nakeisha for our wedding rental experience and she was awesome! We went and visited her no less than 3 different times, staying for hours at a time as we agonized over decisions. She was so patient, helpful, super attentive and brought a good dose of humor to the experience! She made us feel like we were her top priority and she always made us feel super comfortable and at all home at Stuart! She was also very responsive on email, which was a huge plus! I would definitely recommend her and trust her with your wedding rental experience, and she will make it fun too! Have yet to have the delivery by Stuart to our wedding yet, but I can update then. read more

Overall, great experience! Andrew and Julia provided excellent service and showed great flexibility with all of our changes as we went through the ordering process. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they originally delivered the wrong poles for the cocktail tables and I did not have time to do anything about it before our event, so we had wobbly tables :(. What I do want to say is that when I called to let them know that (because we had a 2nd event the next night ) they got the correct poles to us right away. I was grateful of the quick response and all the wonderful customer service they provided, including their deliver/set up crew-also top notch! read more

I would like to say that MARK PRINGLE is my HERO!!!!!!! this was my first experience with Stuart Rentals, and Mark, hands down made it an experience to remember. His customer service is AWESOME!!!!!! he made me feel like I was his only customer he was Kind, patient, & through it all understanding, and no matter how many curves I through at him and please know I through quite a few he never forgot to be patient. Mark, meet all our needs which made our event THE GREATEST !!!!!!!! WE HAD ELEGANT QUALITY ! along with a wide selection that was on time, thank you Mark, for having the passion to do what you do. read more

I was last Minute planning a graduation party and the rental company i was going to use didn't have enough inventory on the weekend i was planning. I called Stuart Event Rentals and talked with Gregg. He was more thank helpful. They had everything i needed and more. Gregg Did a great job making recommendations of what else i could use to make my party even better. After going through all my options i picked out a lot more then i expected to get. I then started to worry i was going to spend too much money on this party. when Gregg quoted me I was surprised to see it was about the same price as the other rental company but with so much more added on. I give this company 5 stars because of the great service and great prices. Thank you again and i will definitely be renting from you again. read more

We ordered a pipe and drape from Stuart Event Rentals for our wedding as a photo booth backdrop. It looked really nice, and was very easy to set up and take down. Mark provided excellent customer service - when we went to pick up and drop off the pipe and drape he was so helpful and friendly and was very excited to hear about our wedding. I absolutely recommend this product and this company - just be sure you have a truck or larger vehicle to transport it in because the poles do not collapse down very short. I used my Subaru wagon and it fit easily. read more

Cindy and team came through for us at the last minute for my son's birthday party. We ordered six tables and fifty chairs. The pick up was easy with their folks loading everything up in our van. The tables and chairs were not as worn out as many others we have seen. The drop off had a line, but the folks there did unload everything from the car. read more

I have had the pleasure of working with Kathy Newby over the last few years and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Kathy went above and beyond to ensure my corporate event was successful. She is extremely knowledgeable, patience, and extremely professional. She was quick to answer my phone calls, emails, and provide updated quotes as needed. I asked a lot and she always delivered. Her team of professionals delivered and set up on time and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. As an experienced event planner Kathy is the kind of partner I look for and I look forward to working with her in the future. read more

The biggest thank you to Lori (hope I spelled it right) she empathize with my situation and made it happen. Instead of driving all the way to Milpitas from Oakland to pick up my rentals she did her magic and shuttled my rentals to Castro Valley and that's where I met Mark with his awesome self. These are the people I will only deal with when I'm doing my events. read more

I am a wedding planner and used Stuart for a wedding this past Saturday. My contact was Laura and she was absolutely AMAZING!!! My client changed her mind every other day and I am not exaggerating. Whenever my client didn't believe me about what she was renting or how it all worked, Laura and I backed eachother up to make sure that we covered every aspect of my clients renting needs. Needless to say that on the wedding day my client was extremely satisfied and I give Thanks to Laura for being patient with all the demands of my client and my constant calls and e-mails. I truly look forward to working with her again! read more

Lorie rocks! She was able to help me out with a last minute event and made me look good. No stress. I'll be back.

I have worked with lots of rental companies over the years all over CA and Stuart rental has continuously been great, helpful and on time. Went back again today to completely change my order, and the staff was so nice about it. As I walked around the showroom, I was asked by 2 or 3 different staff members if I was being helped or had any questions I needed answered. They're very attentive. Only 4 stars since they don't have the table runner I need though. read more

This place was great. I needed a cotton candy machine for my daughter's birthday. I searched for weeks, everyone I came across said I had to rent the bouncie house to get the cotton candy machine. Then a friend said to call these guys! Affordable, super friendly and they even let me in 5 minutes before they opened to pick it up because I was standing outside! Great service. read more

as a last minute decision, we decided to rent black napkins to add some 'pop' to our wedding night dinner tables. after debating on whether or not to just buy 250 plain linen napkins online i visited their showroom and was won over by their table set-ups. minus one star because i stood there for a while without any of the representatives asking if i needed any help. (I eventually got frustrated and just sat down at one of their office desks to get their attention.) but plus a star because when i called in to make a change to my order the person i spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. other than that, the rest of the rental process was pretty simple -- from ordering, to pick up, to drop off. unfortunately, we were missing 3 napkins when we returned our order so it was another few bucks out of our pocket. BOTTOM LINE: 3 stars = A-OK read more

We always rent our chairs and tables for parties etc. from here everyone is absolutely amazing and could not be more helpful I have use the Milpita's location because my mom lives in Fremont and we get chairs and tables from that location and I live in Hayward so we have use the Castor Valley location reasonable prices super friendly staff wouldn't go anywhere else!! read more

Trish and the construction crew were awesome to work with. We transformed my back yard in June of 2021 to host a party of 75 people. Stuart Event Rentals constructed a pool cover for me so that we could use it as a dining space, and they also provided all rentals. The process was great start to finish. The gentlemen that created the pool cover were professional, friendly, and did a very good job. Trish answered all of my questions, dealt with my last-minute nerves and changes, and she was just fantastic to work with. The rentals were nice, clean, and of good quality which was important to me. This is not the cheapest rental company out there - many other companies can rent you some random tables and chairs. But this company is perhaps the best quality - I was very proud of my event, in part because nothing looked cheap/of poor quality. Thanks for helping me produce such a beautiful event! read more

I worked with staff in the Mountain View location and also on the phone several times. We had a hard time figuring things out for my daughter's wedding because well we've never done such a large party before, and we wanted to do as much of it as possible ourselves to get the personal touch we wanted, the look and feel. So the staff spent time with us, helped us with our selections of crystal, silver, plate, linens and some design pieces. They were not annoyed by all our questions and concerns and gave us all the time in the world. Obviously wedding planners go in there and probably point and pick, right, but with new folks it's great to get the professional treatment, as if our daughter's wedding was as important to them as to us. We were 100% satisfied and now I know how to throw a great party for 150 people, because Stuart's made it easy for us, and their stuff looks great. read more

I have been doing my grandparents renewal of the vows with Munglun and she has been amazing and exceptional with her costumer service! I truly recommend this place and I will be returning as soon as I have another event to go to them for! Thank you Stuart Rentals! Stuart Rentals made our wedding possible and beautiful! The large selection of quality inventory and special hours of delivery and pickup were tremendously helpful, as was the help we received from Mark and Hillary at the Milpitas branch. The help we received from Stuart Rentals made it possible to plan, coordinate, and cater our wedding to exactly as we had envisioned while allowing us to cut out the cost of a middle man and incidentals. The website was very useful and easy to navigate! read more

It all started with the idea of transforming my home into a winter wonderland party to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. I called Stuart Rental and asked to speak with Mark Marini because he helped me with a previous last minute rental need for my boss' dinner party. I was surprised that Mark immediately remembered who I was and he asked how everything was going. I shared my vision of my mom's party to him and asked for things like a white dance floor, a lighted bar, etc. was available. His response, yes we have all the items you need and will be happy to assist you. Mark put the quote together and everything was in place. Well, I thought everything was in place until Mark called me and said there was a slight issue with my order however, not to panic because he has a solution. My immediate reaction, was...what do you mean? Mark explained that they don't have the lighted bar because of an overbooking. I was like ok....with concern in my voice. He said, we have other "bars" that could work just not lighted. Needless to say, I was fine with the change. I'm sharing my experience of recognizing Stuart Rental but the real rating of 5 stars or even 10 stars truly goes to Mark Marini. I had hiccups to the delivery whereby part of my order was not delivered for one reason or another (no fault) of Mark but I did reach out to him with my frustration of fear that the party is just hours away and I don't have the complete order in place. Mark in his calm demeanor, says Aurea, I can hear your stress and I guarantee you, everything will be ok. You will receive your order even if I have to deliver it to your home myself. This man, not only did he keep his promised of making sure everything was delivered on time, he went far and beyond to check in with me to insure the delivery men showed up as scheduled. Some may say, that's there job to do this. Yes, it is but Mark followed through everything. He made sure my paperwork was correct and adjusted as needed.. He was on top of it with the warehouse and dispatch. I told Mark, you have my business, our company business, and everyone I know will know your name and Stuart Rental. Mark Marini - thank you for your Stellar service. Thank you for helping me in honoring my mom on her 90th birthday. Everyone was amazed with the party. Now, I know the next party I host won't require much labor work. Why? because all I need to do is contact you. read more

I have rented from Stuart Rental for many private parties for over 6 years now. They even provide discount for non-profit I volunteer for. They have vast collection to choose from and hence for someone like me, on a budget, its a good fit. Recently, there was a mishandling of a chafer that I rented due to which the lid is unusable. Renting the Chafer cost $14. But I was penalized $122 saying they have to replace the entire chafer even though it was just the lid that needs replacement. Moreover, I have been renting from them for over 6 years now. They didn't consider it at all. When I searched for the model on Amazon.com, I found a very good one for $45. Its possible that they have a separate supplier charging them $122, but that amount of penalty was very hard on my pocket. I have had good experience with Stuart Rental in the past. But this experience has left a very bad taste and would certainly research at other options for future rental needs. Update: (6/11/13) After my earlier Yelp review, Munglen, a PR personnel from Stuart Rental contacted me and found out about my experience. She offered an alternate solution and we worked a solution where I was refunded entire replacement cost. I am very impressed with the care with which Stuart Rental handled my case after the review. I really appreciate the extra length/pain they took for customer satisfaction. Bumping the rating! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Mark Marini this morning. He went above and beyond to meet my party rental needs. I live out of the area and am hosting a 90th Birthday party for my father from afar. Mark was so cordial and emanated friendliness from the beginning of our conversation. He guided me seamlessly through the rental process and seemed genuinely concerned that my questions were answered. He took the time to connect with me as a person and even made me laugh! Stuart Party Rentals was recommended by my sister-in-law who has been very satisfied with their products and professionalism. My experience with Mark exceeded my positive expectation!! read more

We are returning customers to Stuart Rentals. This time around we got to work with Mark Marini for our rental needs. He went above & beyond to help us and made our experience there amazing. We were renting for a non profit organization & hence had to go back & forth with the number of items we needed - Mark understood our needs & took care of every little detail, even with the delivery times.. Would recommend Mr. Mark Marini for your rental needs, very professional & courteous.. Thank you Mark. read more

We had an open house at our business. I worked with Daniela, who was enthusiastic, respectful, helpful, patient, and cheerful. She went through the many revisions to our rental list and always stayed positive. I found working with her to be a great experience. When she wasn't available, other people looked up my reservation number and helped me, seamlessly. It was easy. One thing you can learn from me, if you're renting a canopy of any size, have a hose and a water source near where this canopy will go up. If you don't have these, the canopy can't go up. The water fills up big barrels that anchor the canopy. The rental company didn't tell me this and said they never tell clients about this essential equipment. Maybe now they will. I hope so. That's the only negative in an experience that was great in every other respect. I'd gladly recommend Stuart Rental Company to anyone. read more

Lisa Caballero with The Stuart Rental Company in Milpitas, CA has been such a joy to work with during the entire wedding planning/rental process. We are to hold our reception, in late September, at venue that does not traditionally host weddings and we had much to rent. Lisa was instrumental in assisting with making our selections, showing us samples, reviewing layout plans alongside my fiance and I, and ultimately in preparing our order. I should also mention that she was really understanding of the changes we had to make along the way as we received our replies and was quick to provide a revised order. Not only has the service been great thus far, but their prices do seem to be fair and they have a great website that reflects the many rental options they offer. Looking forward to using all of their products on our special day!! read more
